Is Someone Born In 92 Considered A 90s Kid

Would a person who was born in November 1994, be considered a 90's kid?

I would consider myself a 90s kid, even though I was born basically in the middle of 1996. June 14th, to be exact. However, I have very vivid memories of 1998–1999, and some very specific events that happened in 1997 when I was a one year old person. Because I remember things that happened to me as a toddler, I cling to the fact that I was born in the 90s and my identity as a 90s kid, despite growing up mostly in the 2000s. I’ve got an older sister who was born in 1991, and I grew up heavily entrenched in both 90s trends, as well as those of the early to mid 2000s.If you lived by things from the 90s and experienced them, even if it was only for a few years, you are a 90s kid in my opinion. My husband was born November of 1995, and I consider him to be a 90s kid as well. And I know I’ll probably get told “you don’t count, you were a toddler during the 90s”, but I don’t care. I’m a 90s kid, it’s on my birth certificate, and it’s in my soul.

I was born in October 2002. Am I considered a millennial or generation Z?

You are an early Gen Zer given that you were born in October of 2002. But understand that you are a cusper to Millennials and Generation Z.The reason why is of how the Millennial Generation came to be in the first place. It’s best to go to the originators of the Millennial Generation (Neil Howe and the late William Strauss), who coined the term in 1987, around the time children born in 1982 were entering preschool, and the media were first identifying their prospective link to the new millennium as the high school graduating class of 2000.Hence Millennials birth range being from 1982 to 2000.Late Millennials have influenced early Gen Zers that are cuspers to both generations, the ones born 2001, 2002 like yourself, and 2003 which is why there are some relatable traits between them. But the ones born from 2004 to present day, they’re fully Gen Zers with no cusper mentality to two generations. The Millennial influence in pop culture, technology, social media, and fashion are still strong and should not be mistaken for Gen Z influence. The Millennial influence will continue until the late 2020’s. From there the Gen Z influence will start to take shape.

What year would someone have to be born in order to be considered a TRUE '90s kid?

In my opinion, to be a true '90s kid, you have to be born in 1981-1991. At those birth years, assuming childhood is ages 4-12 (before 4 you are a baby/toddler), you would have spent at least half your childhood (approximately) in the 90s. Since you were born in 1991 I would consider you a 90s kid, but you would also be an early 2000s kid. Basically you are a 1995-2003 kid. By my definition of childhood (ages 4-12) you really spent half of your childhood in the '90s and half in the 2000s, so you are no more one than the other. On one hand you are born in the '90s, so that is the one I would automatically gravitate towards, but your later childhood years and therefore the ones you likely remember more occurred in the 2000s. If I had to say one, I would call you a '90s kid. I just sounds most accurate to me.

A person born in 1978-1980 are kind of 90s kids since they did spend part of their childhood in the 90s, but they are more 80s kids.
A person born in 1981 is basically 50% 80s kid and 50% 90s kids.
A person born in 1982-1985 is kind of an 80s kids, but more of a 90s kid.
A person born in 1986-1987 is a 90s kid.
A person born in 1988-1990 is mostly a 90s kid, but a bit of a 2000s kid.
A person born in 1991 is 50% 90s kid and 50% 2000s kid.
People born in 1992-1995 spent their early childhood in the 90s, so they are kind of 90s kids, but I would consider them more 2000s kids.

People born in 1996-1999 are not really 90s kids since they only spent their toddler years in the 90s, but their childhood likely had a 90s influence. For example, I was born in 1997 and many of the shows I grew up watching, though reruns, were made in the '90s. However, I was watching them in the 2000s and also watched my fair share of 2000s cartoons. Since I spent my entire childhood (ages 4-12) in the 2000s, I consider myself a 2000s kid. I am a 90s baby/toddler, 2000s kid, and a 2010s teen (I turned 13 in 2010 and my teen years will end in 2017 when I turn 20).

You are a '90s baby/toddler, '90s/early 2000s kid, and mostly a 2000s teen (since you turned 20 in 2011, you technically spent a bit of the 2010s in your teen years).

If someone was born in 2003, were they a 90s kid?

Of course. Because its such a special thing to be a 90s kid. #coolkidstatus

If you were born in 1992 are you a 90s kid?

Yes, because most of your childhood (not adolescence) is in the 90s.

edit: Childhood is from year 0 to 12. Adolescences isn't childhood. So you are a kid up until you turn 13. If you existed in the 90s as a child for more than 6 1/2 years, then that means you were a 90s kid, since most of your childhood was in the 90s. So anyone born between July of 1983 and June of 1993 is a 90s kid, give or take a few days. Anyone born from July 1993 (or a few days into July) to December 31, 1999 is a 00s kid.

I was born in 1995, am I a 90s kid?

You were made in the 90's, but normally you go by the decade in which you were a teenager.

Do people born in 1995 count as a 90's kid?

Im not to sure what I am. I remember when I was 4 I used to watch the old nickelodeon shows like rugrats, the angry beavers, umm... doug, hey arnold, and some more. I used to go to preschool in 1999. Do I still count?

Are you a 90's kid if you were born in 1994?

I was born in '92 and I remember a lot of the 90's. I have very vivid memories of being 3,4,5 years old and what was happening and the music my mom listened to back then. 90's music is still my favorite.
So yeah I consider myself a 90's kid and a 2000's kid.

Kids that were born in the 90's?

I'm 16 years old, born in 1996. I do not consider myself a 90's kid, but I feel like people born in 92-98 had a childhood that was the last generation to experience a legitmate, fullfilling childhood.

I grew up with n64, playstation 1, gameboy, gamecube, and even my grandfathers old nes. Me and my brothers were complete nerds and we gamed all the time. Pokemon pokemon pokemon. I LOVED pokemon. I remember collecting the cards, talking to friends about them "mines better then yours!"

I remember hide and go seek, riding bikes, freeze tag, cops and robbers, riding scooters, playing with chalk, rage quitting when I got it, using sticks as swords and guns.

I remember that annoying noise the dial up internet made. I remember yelling at my mom not to use the phone because I was on the computer..

I remember Lion king, Alladin, cat dog, angry beavers, doug, all that, kenan and kel, rugrats, the wild thornberry's, johnny bravo, hey arnold, the power puff girls, real monsters (that show kind of scared me) power rangers, barney, fresh prince of bel air, full house..the list goes on and on.

I had such a huge imagination as a kid! The entire world was what I made it out to be. Oh, and the huge beanie babies craze. and not to mention how bad *** you were if you owned a portable CD player. (I was a bad ***)

I remember sh*tting my pants while watching Goosebumps.

I feel like we got the last bits of the 90's and experienced some of the early 00's.

Oh, no real question here, just give your input :P

I agree with this girl, too : http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

Cheers!

I was born in 1992. What generation am I under?

You’re a Millennial! The birth years are 1980–1995, so you’re a younger Millennial and likely have some notable differences from older Millennials (i.e., experienced the Great Recession and homeland violence differently).
