Is Ed, Edd, n Eddy a metaphor for purgatory?
No. I've heard it said before (most likely in jest) because no one in the show grows up, even though it went on for about ten years. Alas, I am spiralling in a world of agelessness and independence, but I doubt any of it is a purposeful metaphor for purgatory. Haha, good question.

What is it about Ed, Edd n Eddy that's so popular?
Because pretty much all of the quotes are VERY funny and quotable, the character’s personalities are quick to grasp and memorable, AND the series ended on a great (movie-based) note.However, another big reason that the show has gained it’s popularity back is because of the shipping fandom. There’s an endless amount of fanfics for the show online, and most of it is basically romance with the male characters.

What was your favorite Ed Edd n Eddy moment?
It’s actually borderline impossible for me to answer since there’s so many good moments from the show that still have me on the floor like a lunatic everytime. This compilation should give you a pretty good idea of what parts of the show make me lose it. XDThis show was honestly one of the best kids cartoons out there at the time, since its adult appeal was pretty high, the writing was excellent and the characters were all fun and easy to relate to at some points.
