Is The Kind Of Cow That Produces Chocolate Milk Endangered Or Something

I drank expired milk. Am I in danger?

Go to the bathroom now, and bring your laptop or phone AND a charger. You’re gonna be spending a lot of time there over the next few hours to a day.

Could you genetically engineer an animal to produce tabun?

Well logically speaking considering animals like the Bombardier beetle and the venomous snakes both of which produce complex chemical substances then yes it's possible to genetically engineer nerve agents into animals. Since domestication is a form of genetic engineering I will be partially using that. Since insects usually have fast reproductive times it seems logical to use them as a basis for producing it.All you need to do is use selective breeding mixed with gene engineering. First step would be to pick an insect that produces one part of the the needed parts and add genes that add as many of the other parts as needed. The next step is to breed the insects until a decent sized population exists then you can simultaneously try radiation and various other methods for causing mutations to get the needed changes as well as breeding various crosses together. Since many insects reproduce quickly this speeds up the issue. Once you have mutated and bred a strain of the insects to produce this chemical then you just need to figure out how to extract the substance and use it.Insects such as the bombardier beetle have developed chemical weapons already so building this into them seems reasonable. It also allows fast reproductive abilities and fatality in extraction such as with the Bombyx mori or the silk moth which has a commercial viability using this method.

My cat took a lick of my chocolate milk. Is this bad?

Original question: My cat took a lick of my chocolate milk. Is this bad?If your cat drank more chocolate milk it could be.. but with one lick I would not worry too much about it (you should keep an extra eye on the cat for a day or two but most likely nothing will happen).About 50% of cats are lactose intolerant (as in they can’t digest milk sugar) and if they get more than they can digest it’ll return until its all out of their body. (I’m talking Diarrhoea and vomiting).…. If it truly was one lick then you should keep an eye on the cat for a few days and then ensure your kitty is kept away from your chocolate milk in the future. Anything more though.. The symptoms to look out for just in case are below;‘VomitingDiarrheaIncreased body temperatureIncreased reflex responsesMuscle rigidityRapid breathingIncreased heart rateLow blood pressureSeizuresAdvanced signs (cardiac failure, weakness, and coma)These symptoms will vary based on the amount and type of chocolate that is ingested and can influence the severity of the condition. Varieties of chocolate that can be especially poisonous to cats are milk chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate and baking chocolate.DiagnosisIf you suspect your cat has ingested chocolate and is experiencing any of the above symptoms, bring it to your veterinarian immediately. You can expect your vet to perform a complete physical exam, including a chemical blood profile, an electrolyte panel, and a urinalysis to help determine if your cat has overdosed on caffeine and theobromine.’Chocolate Poisoning in Cats .. where I found the information..

I drink 1 litre of milk every day. Is it dangerous in some way?

If your body reacts well to consuming dairy, no, it’s not bad for you. You’re obviously not lactose intolerant or you wouldn’t be drinking that much milk and not have gastro-intestinal distress, and that’s one of the only reason to not drink milk. I’m sure there are all sorts of people who believe that all dairy is bad for you and there’s a conspiracy theory surrounding it (just like people will tell you that wheat is bad for you and therfore there’s the associated gluten free trend-unless you’re gluten intolerant, whole wheat is a good source of carbs and fiber, although refined white is horrible for you). Milk is a good source of high quality inexpensive protein. Personally I drink about 4 cups (~1 liter) of 1% milk plus yogurt and some cheese. I am very health conscious, track everything that I eat and vigorously work out 5–7 days per week, and am in very good shape both according to my doctors (recently had a full workup with blood tests and everything) and have low body fat (not bragging). On the other hand my wife is lactose intolerant and even when she drinks Lactaid milk and takes the pills, dairy just doesn’t agree with her beyond the direct GI issues-it bloats her, makes her feel sluggish and when she cut dairy out nearly entirely she lost 5 or 10 lbs without adjusting anything else.TL;DR, if you see no adverse effects, keep drinking milk. I will admit that when I want to cut a little weight I cut down on milk because of the lactose calories. And I’m 41 so I’m not an 18 year old who can eat and drink any and every thing and it not have an effect on my body.

How much milk does an Indian cow give in a day?

In Haryana and Rajasthan there is Breed Called RATHI ( which is native ( DESHI) Indian) produces typically 4–8 ltr of Milk in one Time. in my childhood we had a RATHI Breed Cow and it used to give 5–7 Liter at a time.DON”T DRINK MILK OF JERSEY CattleToday most of the dairies across India produce milk processed from Jersey and H.F cows. But these animals cannot be considered as cows, as these are originally a breed of a wild animal named URUS ( or a Pig). In Germany it was called AUROCHS. People of Europe hunted this wild animal for good quality and quantity of meat. But hunting of this animal was difficult, so this wild animal was cross bred with various animals along with Indigenous Cows Of India. Thus were born modern day Jersey, Holstein and F.S cows. Therefore main aim behind the development of these foreign breeds of cows by western countries is for Meat production. The most shocking fact is that even today the milk of these animals are not used directly for consumption in Europe because the milk of these animals contain a poisonous chemical called CASOMORPHINE.The nutritional value of milk of Indian cows (if not fed with grass; polluted with chemical fertilizer and plastic) ;on the other hand; is the highest along with many many curative properties against many diseases.

Are Oreo cookies vegan-friendly?

Although there are several varieties of Oreos, the traditional flavor is made of sugar, unbleached enriched flour, palm and/or canola oil, high fructose corn syrup, cocoa processed with alkali, leavening, cornstarch, artificial vanillin, salt, soy lecithin and chocolate. As you can see, none of the products or items listed here suggests that Oreos are not vegan. But, what about sugar?! Although refined sugars do not contain any animal product, and are technically vegan, some forms of sugar are refined using animal bone char, which works as a filter and removes impurities. However, if this criterion is selected to declare products non-vegan, nothing much would be left for the vegans to consume. So, Oreos would probably not be considered vegan by this definition, but it is a very strict one and not believed by many. However, there’s one thing that makes Oreos a little less vegan than most of us have imagined it to be. The problem for vegans lies in the fact that Oreos have “cross contact” milk. What this means is that either the cookies or the equipment employed to make them could have come in contact with tiny amounts of milk. Though this cross contact does not necessarily imply that the cookies certainly have traces of milk, it makes it impossible to guarantee otherwise.Originally Published at Are Oreos Vegan?
