Is The Philosophy Of Life Is One Organism Eating Another

What are living organisms?

GAWD I wish people wouldn't cut and paste. A living organism is anything that eats, grows and reproduces copies of itself either sexually or asexually.

Basically ... life eats, grows, shits and makes babies, either by dividing in two or producing some form of offspring from a seed to an egg to whatever.

What's the point of eating for any organism and is there no other way to live?

The point of eating is to take up resources that are difficult come by otherwise. Humans take up most resouces through eating: energy, the carbon required as building material, nutrients such as phosphorus and nitrogen also required to build the macromolecules we consist of, and vitamins, which are specific biologically relevant molecules that we can no longer produce ourselves from scratch. But we don't get all Ressources from food, e.g. Oxygen is much easier to come by through breathing. There are alternative sources of all these resources, e.g carbon can vome from CO2 in the atmosphere, energy from the sun or high energy inorganic compounds, nitrogen from atmospheric N2, phosphorus from minerals. But to extravt these resources from the abiotoc Environment is very hard and requires high specialisation. E.g. Plants specialize in carbon and energy biogeneration, which require them to specialize in low metabolism and high surface area for light capture. Some plants do ‘eat’, e.g. The venus fly trap: again, to take up resources that are hard to vome by, in this case nitrogen. For us, there is no alternative to eating. Even if we were able to invent technology to fic carbon etc. directly from the atmosphere and supply it intravenously, we would get very ill from a lack of things in the gut being processed.

Philosophy and God?

Who is it that assumes any question that includes the words "God" or "Bible" are not philosophical? Or that any question from a religious person can't be philosophical?

Philosophy and Theism are not mutually exclusive. All "isms" are PHILOSOPHICAL.

Why not simply ignore the questions you don't like instead of reporting them or - for 7th level contributors - moving them to R & S?

Anyone who thinks that philosophy has nothing to do with religion, or vice versa, doesn't know much of anything about either.

If all life comes from the same single cell organism, or same life force, why do animals eat each other? Isn’t life just eating itself?

All life relies upon the living spirit that originates from God Himself. This is why man cannot create life. It is impossible. Only God can create life from nothing. Only God has the power and authority to do so. All life regardless of plant or animals relies upon DNA, an immense set of instructions that is used to assemble and construct proteins. Without information, no life is possible. Even the so-called simplest lifeform, that of a virus requires genetic material (DNA/RNA) in order to survive and reproduce. Without DNA no life is possible and it would also be impossible to reproduce. The single celled organism may seem simple, much simpler than a complex multi-cellular organism. But this is untrue, both organisms are complex. Why ? Well, a single celled organism must have all the components need to engage in metabolism, reproduction, locomotion, defense and consumption. Think about, even a single celled amoeba needs to have all the necessary organs (organelles) to engage in energy production. Without energy nothing can live and function. Without an intact defense strategy, the amoeba cannot maintain its integrity, meaning without a cell wall it would turn into a formless, pool of cellular matter. It must be organized and maintain the integrity of a membrane to house all the organs it needs. The amoeba must move from one place to another in search for food and better environments. It would be naive to believe that an amoeba is simple and trivial. It is not. It’s nucleus contains DNA, which contains all of the instructions required to built all the parts that make up the amoeba.Let’s talk about plants. Animals use the Krebs cycle to generate energy through a complex, multi-step metabolic process. Plants use photosynthesis another complex, multi-step metabolic process. Why is it that no Darwinian evolutionist has ever talked about why plants never “evolved” into bipeds or quadrupeds ? Such an idea is possible. Evolution doesn’t play favorites.

How to make myself have a full organism?

You mean orgasm.
Try reading the book For Yourself by Dr. Lonnie Barbach. Or Google anything about women's orgasms.
You'll learn. You'll be OK, kid. Just practice. ;)

What qualities differentiate a human person from an object or thing? Why?

One difference. Life. But, what is life?Is life clearly defined in cellular biology or modern medicine? I think not! We know that life means an organism that is animated and does all the things living organisms do. They eat, excrete, reproduce, sleep and possess consciousness. Once an organism is dead it cannot be reanimated. Sometimes, people can be resuscitated after an event that very nearly takes their life permanently. But, what if a person suffers an injury and is in a persistent vegetative state? They can be fed through a feeding tube and never eat. They posses the capacity to reproduce albeit through artificial means. We can measure brain waves via an electroencephalogram and determine if their brain is active. But, what is brain activity absent consciousness? Not much.In my estimation it’s really consciousness that defines life. … and life differentiates human beings from non-living, non-conscious things.
