Hi friend. First and foremost, take it easy. Because spontaneity is the key. Never make it rehearsed or mechanical. Just be vaguely aware of their requirements, and be your trueself. Anyways, here's some reasoning behind my forthcoming answer…at our centre, 14 SSB, we were only three guys who got recommended. One of us attempted 54 SRTs, I attempted 39 SRTs and another one 34 SRTs. I didn't have ANY coaching. Rest two had. So what all this means is there are going to be no rules.For TAT:Make your story action oriented and merely not wishful thinking, period.Make it as different as you may want to. (One of my stories was about a car modifier.)Don't follow all the rules you read. Unlike usual suggestion, very few of my stories were about a character of my age.Technically, in every story, I wrote 11 lines. One and half were dedicated to initial introduction. 8–9 lines action and tools to achieve the goals. And final line was result.Thats more or less it about TAT.For WAT:Nearly everyone attempts all of the WATs. A few things to take care of are…Try to avoid leaving a word in between. It shows avoidant personality.Read a few good books, so that your perspectives get broadened and you will be able to write a good response to every word.Just take them easy. In fact, this was one of my favourite parts.(There came a word HIJACK. Most of the people fumbled over it…I wrote- ‘'Hijack your weaknesses and short-comings” :) )For SRTs:Just a few points to take care of again.In this test NEVER leave any situation in between. NEVER. It shows you are running away from situations or trying to manipulate the answers.Maintain your speed. In this test, you only know the start and the end. They dont allow you to know the time in between. You have to maintain fast pace throughout.Be comfortable and try to keep common sense.SD:Take '16 personality test’ on google. Evaluate your personality and try to improve upon your weaknesses. Write your strengths in SD from this test.Trust me, thats more or less it about psych tests. I myself was acquainted with these(if not lesser) points only. And this was one of my best parts during my SSB.

1. Venus was jealous because people in an particular unidentified kingdom began to think that the kings daughter Psyche was more beautiful than the goddess. Why? Because the populace began to worship Psyche more than Venus. So in a way yes it would make sense of why she would be jealous. 2.The three tasks were: A. She had to sort through different grains in a room by nightfall. A colony of ants helped her sort the different grains into neat piles. B. The second task was to gather or gain wool from a a flock of deadly sheep. A river god tells her to gather the wool that clung to the bushes instead of trying to gather the wool directly from the sheep and get hurt. C. The next task was to fill a flask with water from the River Styx. When Psyche approached the waterfall she realized that only a winged creature would be able to reach it. An eagle took the flask away from her and filled the flask. There were more than just three tasks. The next task was where Venus gave Psyche box in which she was to carry into the underworld and ask Persephone to fill it with some of her beauty and return it to her. She found a guide in a tower and gave her directions to be careful as she approached Persephone's palace. With this task she became curious and opened the box to look at the beauty charm, but something began to take possession her and put her into a deep sleep when she opened the box. At this point Cupid has healed from his wound and finds Psyche unconscious. He wipes the sleep from her eyes and puts it back back into the box. He tells her to finish the task by taking the box to his mother. Is it fair for her to get help? That's bit of a personal opinion. However the tasks that were given to her were bit on the impossible side. 3.People want other people to love them for who they are not what they look like. Cupid was testing her and wanted her to fall in love with him without knowing who he really was. Cannot really place the blame on Psyche for peeking because her sisters placed doubt in her mind about her husband Cupid. That's it for now. Psych Test Law Enforcement?
Hello Brian. The psyche test is the old MMPI military test for top secret clearance that has been updated for Law Enforcement/Corrections. It is 600 multiple choice questions that use about 20 different scenarios that are phrased differently. The purpose of the test is to see what your judgment criteria is and if it will vary with different parameters. You will be given a set of "rules" and then the questions will have curve balls thrown in. GO BY THE BOOK. Both for the test and when on the job. Don't be a "nice guy" or allow personal feelings/emotions to come into play. Go through the test answering each question you are sure of. Skip the ones you are not sure of. When you reach the end, start over again. The question you weren't sure of in #23 may have been answered in #75 and now you know what to do. As far as the oral test, it about you and your personality. "Do your parents trust your judgment?" "When you went to school, did you play hooky alot?" Take your time in answering and phrase your answer. If your parents don't trust your judgment, how can you expect the Sheriff to? If you played hooky in school, are you now going to come to work or call off? Common sense will get you through this. You will ( or should have) a polygraph test as well. BE HONEST. They can and will forgive someone who admits they smoked pot in high school a few times, but if you lie and it shows, you are disqualified. Period. Best of luck to you and I hope this is useful

Hello friend let me tell you one thing. SSB is a projective technique. It doesn't matter how good you are, how many OLQ’s you have inside you. It will all go in vain if you aren't able to project them in the course of 5 days. So understand one thing that each and everything in that 5 day period is very important and have its own significance.Now coming to PIQ. It is one of the most important things for the pysch test and for the interview. So you need to be very careful and accurate while filling the PIQ form.The psychologist will read your PIQ and SD and will make a skeleton of your personality and will try to connect the qualities coming from your TAT, WAT and SRT with your skeleton personallity. If he notices congruency among all the test and finds the 15 OLQ’s he is looking for, then he will recommend you. And if not, nobody can get you recommended in that very attempt.Most repeaters don't understand this as they never find out that they could’ve made mistakes in psych since its hard to assess the psych part. Most part we write in sub consicous mind and that's where we ruin it.So its very important to be honest while filling the PIQ so that your sub concious mind will reflect the same in the tests.All the best. To psych yourself out was an expression popular in the 1970’s. It meant to get yourself in such a mental state through negative thinking that you set yourself up for failure. An example: It’s exam day. You’ve studied and prepared, but you keep telling yourself that you are going to flunk. Your mind rolls on. You think, “This exam is critical. If I flunk this, I’ll never get into college. I’ll be stuck in this town forever! I just know I’m going to get an F!” When it comes time to take the exam, you are so flustered you can hardly think. You know the material, but you’ve gotten yourself so worked up, you DO fail. And all because you “psyched yourself out.”
