Is There A Limit To How Small My Stomach Can Get Or Will Eating 5 Small Meals A Day Make It Smaller

If I stay on my calorie limit and eat whatever I want, will I gain weight?

It is not only diet that contributes to our losing weight but a lot of factors. And there might be some reasons why you aren't losing that weight you had envisaged to loseAnd they maybe1. You take too much healthy foodNuts, avocados, whole-wheat paste, olive oil and dark chocolate are natural and healthy, but they are not low in calories. You also have to pay attention to how much you eat of the healthy food.2. You do not take breakfastBreakfast skipping seems like a good way to save calories, but your body is actually going to store fat because it thinks it is going to be starving.3. You eat straight and without thinkingEating while standing at the fridge or counter, you do not save time or energy, because it leads to thoughtless eating. You have to be aware of what you eat, because then you put less in your mouth.4. You do not sleep enoughMaking time for sports sessions can mean that you can not crawl into your bed until later.Yet it is important that you sleep well enough, because you need extra energy to keep up your sports routine. In addition, hormones that stimulate your appetite are caused by too little sleep.5. You do not eat enough vegetablesEating five to seven servings of fruit and vegetables is important for everyone, but dieters certainly benefit from it. Vegetables offer a wide variety of nutrients, with fewer calories. Varying is the message.6. You do not cut your foodCutting your food into small pieces may seem childish, but studies show that smaller portions are more satisfying. What diet will help me get a flat stomach?

This comes from my personal experience(Although I lost 9 kgs over extremely long 3 years and my stomach is far from flat)1) Write down whatever you eat (Even a candy or a bite from your friends' meal) This done over a month or so, would give you a fair idea what all you eat and get a rough idea about the calories you take in.2) Judge your calorific requirement depending on your lifestyle, exercise etc.3) Try to divide your meals into smaller portions and multiple times, say 4 to 6 times over the day. (not 1 spoon every 3 minutes ;) )4) If you eat more fatty and sugary foods, cut down on them (do not stop them abruptly, you will have a breakdown a few days down the line)5) Before you take any external pills/suppliments consult a doctor, better yet a dietician.5) If possible shift towards more proteins, less carbs and lesser fats. Eat raw vegetables and salads.6) Most importantly start exercise. Only diet doesnt work. What I did:I used to have 3 to 4 glasses of verrrryyyyy sweet cold coffee a day, when i was a 70 kg 5 footer guy with a small frame. I used to eat 4 full meals a day without ANY exercise (I didnt even work or go to college at that time).Simply reducing the sugar in my diet and distributing the meals in smaller (smaller being the important part) and more frequent meals starts the lovable downfall of the weight.Today I eat hardly 1 spoon of sugar a day, almost no dairy products and smallest possible oil/fat in my meals and my weight hasnt shot up ever!

How can I get a flat stomach without hitting the gym?

For a flat stomach, it is important to maintain a balanced diet and bring a few lifestyle changes in addition to work-out routines.Firstly, start drinking lots of water as it will help to flush out the toxins from your body, and reduce water retention, thus preventing a bloated belly.Substitute soda, tea or coffee with Green tea. Green Tea is low in calories and is also known to contain beneficial antioxidants which help in boosting metabolism. You can try adding lemon, ginger or cinnamon or any other spice of your choice for a better flavour and also to make it healthier.Don't skip breakfast. This is probably one of the things that everyone will mention but yet, the most important one. Skipping breakfast contributes to weight gain.Do not eat anything two or three hours before sleep as our digestion process slows down during night-time.Lower your sugar and sodium intake. Sodium causes your body to retain water, thereby leading to bloating.Eat four or five smaller- portioned meals instead of 3 larger meals.Detoxify your body every once a month.Do not forget cardio! You can try HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), dance, running, swimming, cycling or whatever you enjoy. Exercise is as important as diet changes if you want a flat stomach.Incorporate strength training in your workout routine. Do abs and core exercises atleast thrice a week. You can try a combination of planks, crunches with various difficulty levels, russian twist, leg raises, burpees etc. The best way is to follow a youtube video (I follow @Rebecca-Louise Smith) for this purpose. You can also choose among various apps. But always keep increasing your difficulty level. It is important to push yourself out of your comfort zone. And lastly, never follow diets such as GM diet and starve yourself. Starving yourself, in addition to causing other health problems, will discourage you from eating healthy and following a balanced diet. Consult a certified dietician.Eat lots of veggies! And stay healthy.

My stomach circumference remains the same no matter how much exercise and portion control I do. How do I win?

I'm in my early 30s (male), and I have pretty decent muscle tone. I exercise (intensely) 4 times per week - cardio and weight training. I take protein supplements. I eat several small meals a day. I limit my fried food intake to no more than twice per week, and I've drastically reduced my sweets intake...Been living like this for about 6 months.

Now, I'm seeing results in every way but my stomach. It isn't moving. I remove most of the bread from my meals, I drink mostly water rather than sodas, I eat a lot of turkey, chicken, and occasionally beef. But my stomach is yet holding. My stomach isn't huge, but by the looks of it, if I let it grow, it will look just like my dad's - NOT A GOOD LOOK. Is this stomach inherited or is there something more I can do? Any advice on how to get my stomach into submission?

Does lemon and lime juice help shrink your stomach?

The only non-surgical way to shrink your stomach is to avoid putting very much into it. If you fast extensively or consume only small amounts at one time for a long time your stomach will get smaller and you won't be able to eat as much so you'll feel full faster. But that isn't going to last once you start eating more.

If you mean your BELLY, the front part of your torso between your hipbones and your ribcage, then yes, citrus juice in water as a beverage can help. But belly fat is frequently caused by stress, especially if that's the only place you have too much flesh. Be sure that you are getting enough sleep, practice meditation regularly and eat plenty of high fiber foods, to help reduce the size of your belly.

How many hours does it take normally for the stomach to empty totally after a good meal. Is it a good eating habit not to eat during this time?

It all depends on what you’ve eaten, how you’ve eaten it and if you’ve had anything to drink along with it or after it such as caffeine or alcohol. There are plenty of variables at play here such as age, metabolism, BMI, health of the person and so on. If you usually eat calorie rich food such as meat, then it takes almost4–5 hours for the stomach to get rid of it (red meat can stay in your system 3 to 4 days after consumption and longer in the digestive tract). Typically your stomach should empty within 2 -3 hours. When you are ill, food can stagnate in the stomach for longer periods of time, or even quickly move on to the small intestines.Effect of caffeine on digestion:Coffee’s known to encourage the stomach to release its contents into the small intestine before complete digestion has occurred.Food that doesn’t get fully digested often ends up sitting and rotting in the gut. This creates a toxic environment ideal for ‘bad’ bacteria to spread in the intestines, damages the intestinal wall, and leads to inflammation and an immune response to enzymes in the coffee.Coming to the second part of your question, most people nowadays eat according to their work timings or social situations rather than when they actually feel hungry. So it would be best to listen to your body and eat only when you physically feel hungry, rather than eating something just because its there and available. So, no, it would not be a good thing to eat during this time, as the stomach has already sent signals to the brain that it is full.

When you eat less, does your stomach "shrink"?

yes
your stomach will shrink if you eat smaller quantities

however,
if you go out and eat a huge meal,
you stomach will expand
and will take 60 days to shrink back

How to get a big butt and a flat stomach?

I'm going to tell you a secret. Part of that is just genetics. I know you don't want to heart that, but seriously. If you don't have the genes then the muscular look is as good as it gets. You can crash diet and see if you have the genes, it will cause you to accumulate more fat in your butt if the genes are right, when you eat normally again. But you will then have to exercise and get healthy again so your tummy gets flat. The reason the butt stays big is because the fat cells react differently to exercise (if you have these genes) than all the other fat cells. In another fashion universe, we used to call that "stubborn fat" and used to try to eradicate it with various methods like HIT. But you still need the actual genes to have that round fatty shape happen. Or you can accept the muscular look.

2 questions. Starving.and stomach aches?

How can you not eat? You NEED to eat. That's why you're stomach is hurting. I don't remember what this condition is called....><

The reason your stomach is hurting because you're hungry! When you starve yourself or not eat for a long period of time and eat afterwards, your stomach will hurt and will continue to do so if you don't eat. If you're stomach hurts when you eat, continue eating but eat slowly and small bits because if you stop eating, it will continue to hurt and even worse.

Please don't starve yourself ):
Eat healthy food, drink water! if you want to be "skinny"

By the way how old are you and how much do you weight??? It's not always good to be skinny.
