Is There A Minecraft Server That Has Survival Plots Not Creative Plots

Minecraft Hacking: How can I change from survival mode to creative mode in Minecraft without permission?

In singleplayer Minecraft click "Esc" key on your keyboard and click "Open to LAN." Click "Allow Cheats." It should now say: "Allow Cheats: On." Then click "Open to LAN." You should now be able to use commands and do /gamemode 1.In multiplayer, the server owner must either do /op or give you permission using the appropriate permission for their permission plugin. As if you want to do it without permission of the server owner, well you can't (unless it is a vanilla server) modern server software is very, very protected against those types of hacks. If it is on a vanilla server that is below versions 1.8.6, certain hacked clients (such as Wurst) can create a sign that allows you to run any command without permission. However, most server owners have upgraded their software and it has been patched.

How to make a creative multiplayer minecraft server? HELP!!?

You need the "Essentials" plugin found here: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/essentials/files/182-essentials-2-9-6/ *click the download button near the top right*

download the jar and put it in the "plugins" folder found in your server files and simply restart the server.

have you oped yourselves? if not, just go to your console (the black box that comes up when you run the server) type op 'yourname' (don't use quotes!!! and where 'yourname' is type your minecraft username)

How can you set a Biome in MineCraft Creative Map for future server.?

You need WorldEdit to do that. Select your region with WorldEdit, then type in //setbiome [biome]
You can get WorldEdit with the SinglePlayerCommands mod, or with a plugin but you need a server for a plugin.

What makes a good Minecraft server?

King Julius.Never heard of it? It’s a private server, and only my family and our close friends are whitelisted. What makes it a great server is all the memories. My first underwater house, my first city on a mountain. Our first multiplayer survival zone… I was a miner, my sister was a farmer and an above-ground architect, and a few friends from school helped develop the surrounding landscape and expand underground.Occasionally it crashes, sometimes it gets a corrupt chunk that we need to fix with NBT Explorer. But we have had zero acts of griefing, and we’ve never banned anyone. But maybe you’re asking about the big servers. 8-dimension 12000-player slightly-out-of-date Bukkit servers with their own websites, animated rainbow Motd’s, digital currency that fluctuates in exchange rate more drastically than Bitcoin.I know that the only such server I was a member of is now long gone. It ran out of funds, and hundreds of people lost their skyblocks, achievements, and wealth. Including me.For PVP, I recommend Minecade, I’ve watched my sister play it and it has a lot of cool maps for battles. But ultimately, I recommend creating your own server, one that you can rely on and be in control of. That’s what I want most out of a server…

Would it be worth it to start a Minecraft server?

Before I begin, let me state that I used to run a somewhat-popular Minecraft server back in 2014.Your question is kind of complicated to answer since what people want from servers can vary greatly. Back when Minecraft was at its height, people mainly played on single-player worlds, only using servers for social gatherings. However, nowadays, especially after the Microsoft Buyout and all of the changes they’ve made to the game, many Minecraft players now play almost exclusively on servers. Now, if you want to run a server, you need:Dedication: Running a Minecraft server can become time-consuming, especially if it gets off the ground and becomes incredibly popular. Some larger servers actually bring on staff to help run the server, paying them using money donated by players. You have to be willing to invest the time and energy into building the server up and getting it configured the way you want, to suit what you want it to have. Trust me, before my server closed its doors, it took a lot of time and energy for my staff and I to keep the server running smoothly. We were a small team of only ten people, ten people to moderate, administer, and configure a server that had an average daily player count of over 100 players…A Basic Understanding of How Minecraft Works: Servers can be complicated, and the convoluted process Mojang has for creating them by yourself certainly doesn’t help… You could go around this problem by going to a dedicated hosting company, but that costs money. Things get even more complicated if you decide to start adding Bukkit plugins, and things get even worse if you decide to add mods. Going into building a server without any real knowledge on the matter can lead to an unstable and fragmented server with no real purpose, theme, or guidance.A Creative Mind: Again, this ties back into servers that have no real theme or purpose. If you plan on making a server for the world to play on, make sure it has some kind of theme. Add adventures, mini-games, places for players to build and be creative (We had creative plots on our server) and try to promote an environment that favours having fun over anything else.In the end, if you want to start a server, I recommend it. Running my server might’ve been time-consuming and exhausting, but it was worth it to see other people enjoying the fruits of our labour. Just remember that servers get harder to manage as more players join. :)

Simple Minecraft towny servers?

Hello. I started a minecraft server about a month ago and went live with it at the end of december. We have about 15 players currently that steadily login and play here. We have multiple worlds (creative and survival) and are currently running towny with just a couple other plugins that make the game a little more fun, but not so far out of wack that we may as well be playing a different game then minecraft.

the server address is: mc.mocraft.us:25570

our live dynamic map is: http://mc.mocraft.us:15570

What should I make in Minecraft in creative mode? I'm out of ideas.

What have you made so far? I’ve played different versions of this with my son for years, and I always had in the back of my head digging down as deep as I could, and making…. something out of it. I didn’t know what. I once made an underground rail car tunnel that took over 10 minutes to traverse. I built a base on the far side of it, but it was half hearted. The realfun for me was the days of binging just making the tunnel.About a year ago, I started this. Over 300 blocks in each direction, averaging 70 blocks deep makes it almost 10 million blocks removed to make the hole. I started this with the valiant notion of doing it in survival mode. I did well over the first million blocks that way, and died many times doing it. Then I switched to creative mode (something my 12 year old still breaks my balls about when he sees me working on it), but couldn’t figure out how to get the editor to symmetrically remove all the blocks in the way I wanted to. So I used the quarry feature in Technic mod to mine them down to the bedrock. It took weeks of my computer running the game non stop to get it done. They constantly had to be reoriented to mine the next so many blocks back from the fresh edge. When that was done, there was 300X300 block of bedrock that had to be evened out. If you look, you can see the whole “floor” is a checkerboard of lava and bedrock. 90,000. All by hand. Oh yeah, and then a layer of glass over the whole thing.I fully expect this thing to take years to complete as there’s still a lot to do for the structure, which kind of flows as I make it rather than any solid plan I have in my head. I want a multi hubbed rail system, as well as elevators, farms, mines, as I said, as I work on a lot of the more monotonous aspects just kind go through my head. But I’m almost to the fun stuff. Just a few more months of placing stained glass! I only work on it a couple times a week for a few hours at a time. I work full time, so I don’t get to spend as much time on it as I’d like to.So it really comes down to your imagination, and what you want to build. I’ve seen a lot of good suggestions here for different things that can be done.

What is a good place to advertise a Minecraft server WITHOUT paying to advertise?

In the case that Yahoo! Answers doesn't fit the entire title in the box, I said, "What is a good place to advertise a Minecraft server WITHOUT paying to advertise?" That's basically it.

INFO ABOUT THE SERVER:
The server is running the Ultra Hardcore Mod.
I can't connect to it for a few weeks (can't run minecraft and a server without all of my mods for a while, one of them boosting FPS but kicking me from the server)
It is not 24-hours up, and it is run PERSONALLY by me.

I'd prefer no answers like "Youtube comments" or "spamming it."

THANK YOU ALL Yahoo! Answers community.

Has anyone ever heard of the Minecraft server PrimeMC?

Yeah, I’ve heard of it, and sometimes play on it if I’m bored. The server consists of Prison, Skyblock, Creative, Factions, Survival, PVP, and possibly more, I’m not sure. I’ve played Prison, Skyblock, and Creative, since these genres match my playing style, so I’ll give you an insight on those select genres.PrimeMC’s Skyblock is fun. Since you can play with friends, and I’m pretty sure you can choose your starting island, you can start off pretty easily. There is a shop, and the game is easy enough to start. One of the things that make a server boring for me, is if it takes too long to start off. However, in PrimeMC, it isn’t that hard to start off.I recently got into Prison again, and Prime’s Prison deserves a shout out too. Because of the voting system (explained below), and the fact that it’s OP Prison, you can get started really quickly. You can play with friends, like sharing plots, and it’s just a fun experience in general.Prime probably has one of the best Creative servers in my opinion. They let you use redstone, and the plots are reasonably large. You can play with friends (like before), and the options you have are limitless. One thing to mention; voting in PrimeMC plays a huge part in advancing, for all gamemodes. In Skyblock, you can gain vote keys, which will let you use a spinner where you can get all kinds of things, like money, spawners, kits, etc. In Prison, you can also get a key that lets you have access to a spinner, where you can get money, blocks, kits, etc. In Creative, voting lets you have access to WorldEdit (a tool that is used for large projects. You can fill in spaces, copy and paste things, replace blocks, etc.) for a large amount of time.Another thing, there are also ranks in PrimeMC. This isn’t really important, but I just wanted to mention that in case you wonder why there are some options you can’t use.All in all, PrimeMC is a fun server, and I recommend it.Hope this helps. :)
