How can I monitor/calculate the internet data usage of my home WiFi network by all devices (not just one)? Is there a software, control prompt command, hidden setting, etc.?

My ISP could not explain how we kept exceeding our monthly usage cap... so I built a tool that allowed me to independently validate their reported usage.Yet Another Monitor (YAMon) is now (arguably) the most popular usage monitoring tool for routers running DD-WRT, OpenWrt, AsusWRT, LEDE, etc. (but of course I’m biased). It provides an detailed view of all of the traffic (downloads and uploads) for every device connecting to your router. Usage data is aggregated by hour, day and month (within your ISP billing interval) and can be rolled-up into arbitrary groups (e.g., by family member, roommate, device location or function, or by any other logical grouping of devices).YAMon allows you to see who is using how much data, when!YAMon supports `Bonus Data` intervals (i.e., unlimited download between 2AM & 7AM) and is the first tool of its class to report on IPv6 data. For more info, see http://usage-monitoring.com/ or YAMon - Usage Monitoring for your Router

Do colleges track your Internet history?

No, a college isn't going to look at what you are looking at on the internet.

Also, I don't think colleges have time to look at facebook pages either. Be careful though - once you start applying for interships or jobs your junior or senior year of college, employers will be running internet queries on you to see if there is anything negative or scandalous about you on the internet.
