Which software tool to use to design a house in 3D?
Any architecture software will have complications. One that I've used that isn't too difficult is Chief Architect's "Home Designer" series. It's got templates for a number of basic house designs that you can use as a starting point, or you can start from essentially nothing and sketch plans for each floor level from the ground up. The versions vary in price from US$60 to $400 or so, but the $99 version or more is needed for 3-D walkthrough support. You don't get the full "buildability" support of a real CAD tool (local building codes, material properties, load and stress calculations, etc.) but you get many of the design tools, and the template house plans all seem to be buildable. You can do mock-up and rendering in any 3-D tool, but those may be harder to use. The free version of (formerly Google) Sketchup may still be a good start, but the documentation support for "Sketchup Make" is almost nonexistent now. The new owner (Trimble Buildings) isn't much interested in supporting the free tool. How do you make two adults siblings on The Sims Freeplay App?
They will never TECHNICALLY be brother and sister, but even with the REAL families you create, the game doesn't call them brother and sister on their relationship level. The highest you can make a preteen brother and sister is best friends. You can always make them good friends like the real brother and sister created, and make them look alike, have the same last name, etc. but no one in the game is actually considered brother and sister to the app. I have adult brother and sisters on the app, and I just plain old made 'em separately.
