Is There A Way To Correct Your Eye Sight

Which one is better eyesight, -3.25 or -2.75?

The minus sign indicates that you are myopic (nearsighted). The number says how far away you are from "normal" vision, which would be represented as zero. The farther the number is from zero, the worse the vision and the greater the correction needed to resolve the refractive error.

Moving from 3.25 to 2.75 means that your myopia has reduced by 0.50 diopters, but don't get too excited. This is pretty close to the normal fluctuation for humans. If your eyes were a bit dry, if you were taking a cold medicine, if you ate a lot of salty food, or even having an exam later in the day, you could have affected your error by close to this much.

BTW: A plus sign would have meant that you were hyperopic (farsighted).

FYI: You are in the correctable range for Lasik or similar vision correction surgery.

Is there a way to fix your eyesight?

I've had better than 20/20 vision my whole life up until about last fall. My left eye is going really bad, and I need it for shooting. IK someone who had a problem like this and wore cantacts for a while and it fixed itself on its own. Is there anything I can do (besides laser surgery)?

My left eye has 20/150 vision and my right has 20/200?

It means nothing bad.

20/150 and 20/200 are measurements of your visual acuity based on the Snellen chart. A person that can read all the letters on the chart will be said to have a 20/20 vision. If you can only read the letters that are at least twice as large, then you're a 20/40, and so on. It also means that, for a 20/200 measurement, for the smallest that you can see you need to stand at 20 feet while a normal eye could do it at 200.

Can it deteriorate even more? Yes. It is likely that it will get worse during the next few years and possibly during your whole life.

Is bad eyesight hereditary? There seems to be a connection, but it's not because two parents are nearsighted that their child will have any vision problem.

Is there any way to correct your vision without laser surgery? Apart from wearing glasses or contact lenses, no.

But your eyesight is not that bad. Your estimated prescriptions are between -1.75 and -2.50 ... I'm at -8.00 and THAT is something bad...

Can you correct your vision without surgery?

The so called easy ways of correcting vision like glasses and contacts can sure end up being a hassle. Glasses are always finding a way to get dirty, and contacts are a pain. They dry out on your eye and aren't very sanitary, not to mention if you lose one it's basically impossible to find it. But there is a different way to correct your vision. And no it's not surgery. LASIK surgery is not the way to go. It is way too expensive and can have very bad consequences. The best way is simply made up of two different methods. And by following these methods you will correct your vision forever. No more trips to the optometrist and no more buying prescription eye glasses and contacts.

The first method is all about sleep. You have to allow your eyes to rest. Without rest you're putting a big strain on your eyes. And in return only makes your eyesight worse. You will need to have around seven to eight hours of good steady sleep each night. That's about the normal amount to fully rest your eyes from a day's work. And as your eyes rest they very slowly start to correct themselves. Your eyelids massage your eyes as they are closed and massaging will help correct your vision.

Now the second method is all about learning how to work your eyes to their full potential. And you will do this by performing certain exercises on each eye every day. These exercises include blinking really fast then closing your eyes tight. As you keep doing this you will be allowing more circulation around your eyes which is critical for vision. So by following these simple methods you will be on your way to naturally correcting your vision in no time.

You're not restricted to having to wear prescription eyewear or paying for LASIK eye surgery to improve your vision. There is a natural way to improve your eyesight within a few weeks. If you are tired of having to worry about glasses or contact lenses and you're worried about the risks of surgery, there is an effective, natural way to get better vision.

If you're tired of the cost of your glasses or contacts and you just want to have the freedom that better vision affords you, it can be done naturally. You can see better just a few weeks from now. People just like you have improved their vision through the use of eye exercises. It's your turn now to see better.

How to improve eyesight naturally?

Here I found some tips to help improving your eyesight.

Step 1
Give a soothing massage to your face as well as the area around your eyes. Rub your temples and forehead gently, you can use aromatic oil to add the relaxation. Feel the tension go away from your mind and body.

Step 2
After relaxing your eyes, start with exercises to strengthen the eyes muscles. For example, lower and raise your eyebrows or rolling your eyes slowly. The shut your eyes and cover them with your palms. While training your eye muscles, it is important to give them a relaxing condition.

Step 3
This is another step on how to improve eyesight naturally: take enough sleep.
Getting the proper amount of sleep every night will help your eyes see more clearly the next day. Lack of rest and sleep will affect on the health of your eyes. Make sure that you get a restful sleep around six to eight hours each night.

Step 4
Minimize using corrective lenses. Eye glasses will actually making the eye muscles weaker. There are certainly times that you may not need to wear them. If you are sure that it is safe to be without them, take them off often to help build the muscle up again.

Step 5
After working in long hours, have the habit of covering your eyes for several minutes. First rub your hands together and make them warm, place them over your eyes. Try not to press the eye balls, your fingers should block the light from entering your eyes.
.
I hope the tips above will improve your vision’s condition.

Is there any way one can improve his/her eyesight after the age of 23 without surgery? If not, what are the best practices to take care of your eyes?

You can do what is called as eye exercises. These were initiated by Dr William Bates. This man showed the world that we can improve our eyesight naturally. Most of his work was further developed by people of our century such as Meir Schneider. Sure, a lot of medical professionals claim that there is no scientific evidence behind it. But hey, it is much safer -if done correctly- than the very well-documented, scientific yet dangerous Lasik! I wear glasses since my third grade and I did some of the exercises. I had a positive experience. Not that spectacular -because I was not committed-  but my eyes are more relaxed. I no longer wear them when I drive in daylight time. There are also some kind of food that you should incorporate in your meals, and a bunch of other stuff. Anyway, I encourage you to check this blog as a starter. It contains cool articles and helpful cheap vision improvement products, especially for people who work a lot on digital devices such as computers:Eye Exercises for Computer Users
