Is There Animal Friendly Paint

Is the chalk on a NFL football field vegan friendly?

If not then I will get my animal rights group to protest outside Roger G. office like we did for Michael Vick.

Pet friendly paint stripping solution?

I usually don't believe those "as seen on tv" ads but I bought some Ready Strip paint/varnish remover. It's NONTOXIC so you and your animals will be safe. It sticks to vertical surfaces. This stuff works great!!! I've stripped furniture, trim, and baseboards. The only smell I've detected is that of play dough, very subtle. It comes with a couple of metal scrapers and some finishing spray. I've used it on flat surfaces and detailed surfaces. It looks like now you can order it through homedepot, KWAL paint, etc. It's kind of like a green jelly and when it's ready to strip, it turns white or light green. If you don't get it scraped right away, just spray it with a little water to losen it up. I couldn't find the website where I originally purchased it but you can order it from the one I've shown below AND it gives you a good idea of how it works. You will probably want to put some plastic or something down when you start scraping. This stuff really takes the paint off and the plastic will just make it easier to remove it from your home.

You'll have to sand a little to bring out the woodgrain but for what you're doing, it doesn't sound as though you'll have to do a lot of sanding. Just use a sanding block or sandpaper and then clean it up with a vacuum.

How do I waterproof a terracotta pot, whilst being animal (fish) friendly?

Priming and then painting with a high-gloss paint has worked for me in the past. You may want to use sandpaper to remove any sharp edges on the pot before painting it as it has been my experience that the pots have many surface imperfections and a high-gloss paint will definitely make them seem more noticeable. If you like the terra cotta look, try using a clear stone and tile sealer (found in the tile aisle of any home improvement store. It may darken the terra cotta so you may want to test a trial spot on the bottom of one pot.

Is there a way to get rid of farm animal scents from a house?

Strong odors can be resistant to even the best household cleaners. Pull up any carpets and have the walls and ceilings painted (clean the walls with Simple Green first - paint doesn't stick to dirt).  Meanwhile, give the place a good daily dose of Ozium air freshener. It's the most effective one I've used at covering up smells without leaving a lingering chemical odor. Good luck and thanks for asking!

A brand of spray paint that is non-toxic to cats?

I recently made a really intricate cardboard box tower/tree for my new kitten and she loves it... but it looks like a serious eye-sore. I'd like to spray paint it some solid color, but I'm not even sure there's a non-toxic spray paint that would be okay on something she may or may not chew at/inhale. Anyone know?

What's the most environmentally friendly way to dispose of pet waste?

The EPA would recommend flushing pet waste as sewage treatment plants are designed to remove potential pathogens from waste, both yours and your pets’, before returning clean water to the ecosystem. For those concerned with water usage after each flush, you can combine your number 2 with disposal of pet waste. DO NOT flush a poop bag though.Compost might be a good idea if you are familiar with how to kill all the pathogens in your pet waste. These can be nasty for our health. Just to be safe, reserve the fertilizer for ornamental plants.

If a friendly tiger licked your arm, would his rough tongue rip your skin off?

If a friendly tiger licked your arm, would his rough tongue rip your skin off?Great question!First up, I need to disclose that although I haven’t had a friendly tiger lick my arm I have however walked a friendly tiger. Background - my partner and I walked a female Bengal tiger at the Kamo Wildlife Sanctuary, Northland, New Zealand. The photo shows one of the tigers at the sanctuary similar to the tigress we walked. .The tiger walkWhen the owner Craig got her out of her enclosure, he placed two leads around her neck and then warned me - stay behind her head, because if she jumps on you we’re in trouble. So our walk started. Craig held one leash and I the other. A second keeper followed. As we walked, carefully keeping behind her head, I was able to pat / stroke her back. She growled with pleasure at being able to walk through the park I should mention it was 8am and we were the only visitors. Her fur was extremely tough, rough and slightly scratchy.Would the tongue of a friendly tiger licking my arm, take the skin off?Yes definitely. Tigers are large animals with large rough tongues. So yes, I think they would be able to take the skin off.Googke searchA quick Google search has come with this gem - http://slightlyviral.com/amazing...“The tiger’s tongue is covered with numerous small, sharp, rear-facing projections called papillae. These papillae gives the tongue is rough, rasping texture and is designed to help strip the skin, feathers, fur and meat right off its prey. They have been known to lick the paint right off the walls of their enclosures in the zoo.”Tame tiger?Tigers are the largest of the big cats and can grow up to approx 300kg or 700lbs. They are wild animals, and if angered can turn on their keepers.A white tiger at the Kamo Wildlife Sanctuary - just because he’s gorgeous.White tigers are a pigmentation variant of the Bengal tiger.

RATS is there a safe paint for cages?

No guessing here, my rats' health is important to me to. This is a subject of discussion on the rat forums, and everyone agrees there are not many paints they would feel comfortable using.

In the last week I have been cleaning up 4 of my rat cages and the spray paint that I am using is Wal-Mart's ColourPlace Rust Paint in Flat White.

Says on the lable, "resists marring and chipping.......lead-free and non-toxic when dry making it perfect for children's toys."

Is face painting with fabric paints safe?

Fabric paint is kinda acrylic paint and is not safe to use on the skin. You are advised not to use fabric paint for yourface. Though some paints listed as "non-toxic”, but most "non-toxic' acrylics have formaldehyde as a preservative.Guys.. choosing not the right face paint colours is the most major mistake that you can make as a beginner face painter. Many of the new face painters just go to their stationary shops and get those typical paints, or cheap water colors thinking that it’s all the same thing. Not many people realize that you can’t just use any old paints on human skin!Even most non-toxic acrylics just aren’t safe! It doesn’t matter if they’re water based, acrylic, or oil – if they weren’t made especially for the face and body there will be a high risk of allergic reactions breaking out on the skin. And you don’t want that to happen! The only face paints you should use are products that have been specially made for face or body painting – it is advised that you stick with water based paints (made for the skin) because they wash off easily.Don’t run the risk of using the wrong face paints on someone because if something goes wrong, (and it probably will) even if you have insurance, they won’t cover the cost of the damages you could be facing. So, do alot of painting and be safe.
