Is There Any Way To Find The Exact Location Of Someome Using Their Ip

Can someone locate my exact location using my ip address?

The answer is YES. But it may take some process.Someone could know what is your IP by just chatting in MSN. By using a software, they will know what is your IP. The IP that will be trace is the IP that your ISP given to you. When you did malicious activities, you will be watched and the IP will be trace. Each IP has a unique configuration that the provider has given to you.

Anyway, don't be fool about those threats. It isn't true. She didn't even gave you your IP when you ask. If you want to, use a software to get her IP and report to the police that she is threathing you. Revert back what she says and see what is her reaction.

How do I find someones (specific) location using their IP address?

Ok, someone has spamd my blog on my business website and posted bad things about myself and my business (which all where untrue). And because of this I have deleted my blog temporaroly. But I do have there IP Address. So I am wondering if there is ANY WAY AT ALL I can use this information I have to find their location. I have a strong feeling of who it is, but I need to make sure it is him for sure before I confront him... So please, any advice at all will be greatly appreciated! Thank you... If someone knows your IP address, can they track your exact location?

Which IP address?Domestic broadband? If they have the actual IP address your machine thinks its using, then no. It will almost certainly be a 192.168.1.* address and that is local to your router and will be used by 10’s of millions of other users and only exists on you home network.Domestic broadband and they have the IP address you used to access an internet/web service, then they will generally only be able to determine your ISP. If your ISP cooperates in some way (coercion, court order, ‘helpful employee’) then they might be able to identify your account and get an address. This depends on the ISP keeping a record of the IP addresses it allocates to accounts - this will most likely be dynamic and change regularly (mine does). So they might be able to get an address and if it is the one where the router is, then yes, they might be able to find that address. But not without help.If it is one of a small number of organisations which provides fixed IPs - then if there is a record of where it is, then they could find the machine - but only if there is that record. Again, it will depend on the types of records kept by the organisation. If it was your phones IP address, then the company providing your airtime contract will almost certainly keep track of which phone has what external IP address. If someone can persuade the airtime company to give up the information, then they could obtain the address associated with the phone. They might also be able to use cell mapping to determine roughly where the phone was at any particular time - again, only with the cooperation of the airtime provider. So, if someone knows nothing about you except for an IP address, then they could get to an address, but only with help from one or more organisations - which should not ordinarily give up that info without court orders (in most countries).

How do I check the exact location a picture was taken using "inspect element"?

Right click on the page in which image is present, then select Inspect Element.
Then switch to Resources tab. There you will find folder icon of hierarchy style. Just keep on clicking on the arrows until you find Images. Then click on the arrow beside Images and there you can see all the images. Select any image and on the right hand side you find all the information regarding the image.

How can I find the location of a person using an IP address?

You can’t find it reliably or with any great precision - unless you’re the ISP for the IP address (and even then - maybe not.)Due to the common use of enterprise NAT, I’ve seen the “geolocation” services get the location wrong by hundreds of miles (and several counties.)This might be good enough to show them the approximate position of the moon in the sky (for eye-balling purposes.)But it isn’t reliable.

How can you track down someone's location on Instagram?

In some cases you can track down the location of an Instagram user even if they use a pseudonym and do not provide any biographical data.As Olivia Rodriguez rightly pointed out, one way is to exploit photo location data. Go to the user’s profile and click on the location symbol. If they have been careless and allow their position to be uploaded then you will see a map showing where each photo was taken. Somebody could take photos only in locations unrelated to their life, but what is much more likely is that you see groups of photos in certain locations. Comparing these locations with Google Maps tells you which are private homes, which are businesses, which are bars and so on. With many users you will be able to make an educated guess about which is their home, where they work, where they hang out, where their friends live and so on.There is another way to locate Instagram users based on their friends. Even if you use a pseudonym and never talk about real world locations, one of your Instagram friends might be using their real name and can help people to track you down. Someone intent on locating a user can start by looking for interactions with other users, perhaps comments made by those users on your photos. If that user has a real name ID and location someone can then look to see who that person interacts with on other sites. One of those other persons might be you. This is much more complicated but it is feasible. If you are trying to avoid being found then you should make sure that your location upload is disabled and avoid interacting with anyone else who has a real name account. But if you really don’t want to be found the best policy is to avoid using Instagram altogether. A determined sleuth can probably find you if they want to.

Can you find someones house using their IP address?

If the IP address is registered to them and they were foolish enough to register it to their home address, then you can look it up here:

http://www.domaintools.com/

Most people are using IP addresses assigned by their ISPs, so looking them up will only get you the ISP's address.

Their ISP probably has their address for billing purposes, but it would take a court order and some work on their part to connect it to a specific IP address at a specific time. Even then, you only get their billing address, not necessarily their home address.
