I used to think astrology was complete bull, and I would tell anyone who listened. But as I grew older, there were a few things that changed my mind and I have been actively interested in learning about it since I was about 18.On the surface, it’s fatalist, narcissistic and very thinly veiled personality tests with loose associations to psychological conditions. It screams of pseudoscience and glossy magazines.Deeper though, and when studied with methodology and diligence, it brings into question your place in the universe, the condition of freewill, and an understanding of humanity; it makes me believe that physics does have an influence on my constitution. After all, if the moon can move the surface of the ocean, what other gravities are we experiencing? Does the solar system act as a grand piece of hardware, subtly shifting our momentary forces on earth? Are our blooded bodies the software it pushes on?I can see ages and eras in time, ideas shift, and a gradual model of life and death over time through the signs. I feel influences by naming them, and I push back against those that would bring out my malefics. Nearly every culture on earth has a practice of studying the stars; many modern movements[1] or campaigns in war were guided with them. The French government has an astrologer to consult today[2] . After thousands of years, we threw out astrology when it began to be published by Westerners in the backs of magazines, but I see no reason to discount it just because of the vague writing of some people in the last century. After all, so many things are proven in time when there are instruments to measure them; perhaps something will definitively show astrology to be in this category in the future.Until then, trust your gut. Consult an astrologer, not just a book or magazine or search with zillions of ads in the way. I guarantee you will find a pragmatic individual to work with. I have used many astrology apps in the past 2 years and have been more or less disappointed with the prediction or the service. Some were having useless astrologers who don’t even know how to see dashas and then on some websites I got cheated by paying in advance and never got a proper service. Then I got a reference of AstroTalk from one of my colleagues and I am yet to be disappointed again.The service of Astrotalk is flawless. I being a developer also love the way the app has been designed. UI UX of the app is a killer and is very easy to use and ask anything from the astrologer by click of a button.I tried asking queries in the beginning and got a detailed answer with planetary positions within 1–2 hours which was fairly quick when they are answering manually by an expert astrologer. The meaning of “horoscope do not match” is open to interpretation. Different astrologers have different criteria for declaring a match as either good or bad. Most of them base their judgement entirely on Ashtakoot Guna Milan and some others on Manglik.You may be surprised to know that Guna Milan is almost a useless methodology. It accounts for a very small portion of kundali matching. While the Manglik concept is important, there are several scenarios which cancel this dosha. One of scenarios where being Manglik does not matter is if the Mars of the non-Manglik partner is exceptionally strong. So Manglik dosha too shouldn’t alone be considered a decisive factor. Both horoscopes need to be analyzed in entirety to arrive at a conclusion.And about “people” who are saying that he has two marriages in his kundali - Most of them cannot even tell for sure how many marriages their own children will have. It’s important to understand astrologers’ psychology as to why they keep rejecting matches. (This does not apply to genuine, knowledgeable astrologers).If he rejects a match, you’ll provide him with more horoscopes to match in future. This in turn means more earning for him. (Most astrologers charge on per horoscope-match or per visit basis). Or he’ll suggest some unnecessary rituals to overcome the hurdles and charge for it. Either way you’re being robbed.Suppose he says “yes” to a match and the marriage doesn’t work out. First, he loses your trust and confidence and most likely you’ll not consult with him again.
