Is There Anyone Who Actually Knows A Little Something About Cable

What are those green tv/cable box's on the road actually called?

Here in London on every block theres these green boxes. I'm presuming they have something to do with cable or the tv.

I'm trying to find some information on them but its kind of hard without the official/proper name for it.

Anybody know what it is?

What is the song on the newest cox cable commercial?

I'm looking for the song played on the newest cox cable commercial with the little robot guys and they're like helping some guy hammer something down. I don't really remember but it takes place in someones backyard I think here are the lyrics:

I look up to you, for all the things you do
i hope to, hope to be like you, someday soon, cause I look up to you

thats the only lyrics that were played. I really need to know the artist and song title if someone knows. Thanks.

Does anyone know if David Yurman changes it hallmarks on the classic cable series?

I have a few of these bracelets (but all from the last few years). When I got my newest bracelet (from ebay).. i was a little skeptical, as the hallmarks are there.. but look different from my more current bracelets. The sellar said that this was because DY changes the marking .. that since this was vintage, it was different. I've tried googling info.. but I think i'll just have to go to a store and get them to authenticate. The weight feels right, gold/silver look good.. stones look good... could be a really good fake. Any way to tell?? Thanks everyone...

Motorcycle Idling a little high, wont come down. Advice?

I have a 1982 Yamaha Virago 750cc's. I just tore apart the carbs and cleaned them out, and replace the spark plugs. Made some other minor repairs. Now the bike is back together. Fired up Beautifully. But it's Idling around 3000 RPM and wont come down.

Before the repairs the idle would wander incessantly, climbing up for no reason, or bog out and stall. So I'm glad its holding a strong steady idle, but is 3000 RPM a good Neutral RPM? Is there a way to drop it down?

Before you mention the obvious: I did not make any adjustments (that I am aware of) to the carbs so that they would run richer. Yes, the choke is completely closed, and yes the limit screw on the Idle control is all the way down. Still holds at 3000 RPM.

My one guess is that when I re-installed the throttle cable on the carbs, I may have taken out too much slack. Like to know if there is anything else I should look for next time I have the tools out.

Thanks.

If a dog chewed a piece of cable wire...how long before it would get sick?

The inside of cable wire is metal, and would have shown up on x-rays if it was in there. 3 weeks is plenty of time for him to have passed anything he had eaten. Obstruction may not have happened immediatly, but it would have been noticed by your friend if it happened. The puppy would have vomited everything it had eaten/drank and would have stopped deficating. Sounds like this puppy will be ok. She did the right thing taking him to see a vet though!
