Why do I attract a lot of unattractive girls?

I think that in general. attractive girls have more relationship experience than unattractive girls (this is not necessarily good or bad).First of all. if you find that unattractive girls give you much more attention than attractive girls, then you may have good reason to believe so. While you may be thinking that those unattractive girls who are always hitting on you are below your league, you might find that they actually aren’t.One thing that a previous poster pointed out in his answer is that you assume that women and men judge level of attractiveness the same. Not so at all. Yes, the majority of men want a woman who is physically attractive first and have other good qualities second, but this is RARELY the case when women are choosing men, especially when the woman is good-looking. She’s been with dozens of guys just as hot as she is who’ve turned out to be a waste of time. There is so much more to being an attractive man that a woman actually wants to be with. I hate to state the truth so bluntly, but the more status you have as a man, the better looking the women you attract will be.So yes, these girls you tend to attract might be 4’s or 5’s on the scale of attractiveness based on physical appearances, but it’s very likely that that is your “range”. You may be a 4 or 5 on the attractiveness scale based on status. Those 9’s and 10’s that you want will come with plenty of hard work, especially if you weren’t already born into a family with status.Still, it’s probably a lot easier for you to change your level of status than it is for some of those not so hot girls to change the looks they were born with.Now that I’ve answered your question, let me say this: you might find that tactic of dating/choosing a mate highly ineffective in the later years of your life. Even harder than finding a really hot woman that wants you is finding a woman who will actually love you and stay with you through thick and thin. That’s just my opinion.

Do women consider skinny males unattractive and a turn off?

I'm sure you're aware that there can't be a standard answer for this but opinioins and individual choices. If it helps you with whatever statistics you're on , my preference of guys would be -  athletic and lean guys over skinny ones over totally beefed up, with potbellied completely restricted, in that order! And skinny guys here is a compromise-choice.( please dont blame me with objectification of men ;))    But then I met this guy, who is not just super skinny but also lanky at 6'3".We kind of instantly clicked and became best friends. We both agree that the smiles, thoughts, fears, dreams,and all other things we share with each other is unprecedented and unbelievable! also, the way we met, was one hell of a co incidence (I'll save that story for some other day), that we're convinced it was meant to be. It's been two years now that we're more than best friends to each other and are completely smitten and well, to me, he is Adonis incarnated!:)  So, moral of the story is,  as all the wiser people here have already stated -being skinny or fat or black or white or whatever,  could be initial turn off/on for some, but thats part of the parcel.We see people as a whole, as a person, and by 'we' i mean 'we humans', not just us women.(if not, I sincerely hope we should).So if I am you and if I am looking for something substantial, I would not worry about that. Since there is definitely more to the chemistry, physics and timing of love than the superficial credits physiology walks away with! ;)PS.   I'm writing this anonymous since I dont want to pump more air in my guy's already narcissistic head. :P

Do attractive guys get approached? I know I'm attractive. I catch girls checking me out but am rarely approached. I guess I'm just wondering what goes through a female's mind.

I am not an attractive guy but I had one bizarre experience while chatting with buddies on Facebook. I accepted one friend request of an unknown girl and we had a conversation.It is something like this :Girl: HiMe: Hey, How are you doin’ ?*********Casual conversation with literally no meaning *********After 20 mins chat she finally dropped the bomb :)She: Do you have a GF?Me: Nope , I don’t ,neither I ever had .*** 4–5 mins casual chat***She: I will actually never forgive you for what you did.Me: Film plot of *I know what you did last summer* popped in my head and literally it created a montage of all devil deeds of mine but still managed and replied “ What?”She: You did wrong to my sister .Me: Can’t understand , please clarify .She: You are cheating on my sister . My sister told me that you are her BF and you cooking some different story.Me: Wtf? (In my mind I was trying to figure who can be that girl though I literally don’t have a Gf neither I had one back at that time. )She: I will tell her that you are not loyal unless you don’t accept it right now.Me: Who is your sister?She: You better guess.Me: I was about to inundate her with the flow of names , but restrained myself as I smelt some wrong in it.*****She kept on doing this drama for next few minutes . As I was in real dubious condition ,had no enough balls to cut the conversation out without knowing the reality behind it*************** She tried to make this a real one by pretending to tell me some of my own information that she projected to hear from her sister******After few minutes we had real argument and I quit .She: I was just kidding I don’t have a sister . When you said you don’t have a Gf , I never been able to eat it so I did this to you to know the truth as I still believe a cute guy like you should have a Gf.Me: **Speechless**(P.S: All the info she told me to make it believable were really open for show to my Facebook friends)Most probably it was my FACEBOOK Profile picture that time.
