What is a good (cheap) gaming laptop?

Hi you will get conflicting answers to this question but 600 is far too cheap to expect any sort of performance out of a laptop so now you know you need to spend twice what you want to pay to get anything with any performance.
the answers are sometimes not what you want, but in most cases they are true, for instances the graphics on most laptops are part and parcel of the motherboard so the idea of changing the graphics card does become impossible until you pay a substantial amount for the laptop in the first place for and be able to change the graphics card.within a laptop.
so yes it could cost 2000 dollars for a laptop with the facility to change the graphics card but they are even limited. it is all due to cost for performance. you only get what you pay for.

Is a laptop with GTX 1050 good enough for gaming?

You can consider GTX 1050 good enough if you are playing your games at low or medium settings. You can get around 40–50 FPS at medium (more FPS at low), it all depends on the game you are playing on your laptop.Older games (<2015–16) will give you an excellent performance but newer games (2017) like Mass Effect: Andromeda, Resident Evil 7, Ghost Recon: Wildlands will run near 30 FPS. Some newer games might be optimized to give a better performance but overall the performance will not be satisfying if you are a hardcore gamer. You can refer to this link for the benchmark details:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (Notebook)If you are just a casual gamer, this GPU will be good for you, but i would recommend upgrading to a GTX 1060 if it doesn’t exceed your budget. If you want i can suggest you some laptops as well.Hope this helps.

Are Toshiba laptops good for gaming?

It depends. Some Toshiba laptops are very good for gaming. Some are terrible for gaming. Like all computers, it depends on the exact specifications of the computer you're looking at.

That particular laptop happens to be pretty good for gaming. It has 4GB of RAM, which is average for a gaming laptop. It has an excellent processor (a quad core Core i7), and it has a fairly good graphics card (the dedicated GeForce GTX 540). It's not the best graphics card, but it's a nice compromise between performance and portability- the better a graphics card is, the bigger computer you need to support it.

Is gaming bad for laptops?

Well, as long as you're not overclocking the motherboard or processor and taking care of the laptop, it won't really hurt it all that badly. If you're going to do it, get a laptop made for that purpose, or it will wear out a little faster than normal. Not too much faster, but still. Desktops are hardy and can take abuse, as well as get the parts replaced that wears down. PC Desktops are best for game customization.
