Is This A Good Pc And Is It A Good Price

What Is A Good Gaming PC?

Gaming Pc's work mainly on two things. Video card and memory. WHile they do work your CPU as well, RAM is always the most important thing in a computer because it is an easy upgrade and relatively cheap.
You will need 4 gb of RAM or more. If you get more than 4 gb you will need a different version of Windows.
The video card is another question. You really need to see what is out there the month you buy it and look at a few magazines for their reviews on those cards. You can sometimes get a better card for half the price.
Another thing to Look at is what games do you play. certain games will respond better with particular video cards. The other problem with video cards is that in 3 months time there will be a faster one.
I have known groups of friends who each month, the one with the slowest video card will buy a new card and become the best player in that game. Don't spend huge money on one card and find out in six months time everyone is beating you so you then have to upgrade.
Look at building a good quality system that can handle it's own and leave yourself some money to upgrade a bit as time goes by.
For a laptop, the DELL XPS has a great reputation. It is the one you see Sheldon using on THE BIG BANG THEORY TV show.

Is this a good PC monitor?

It says "Standard Definition"? I don't want to sound stupid but i want my games to look amazing...It comes across that this monitor will not look that good?

The price is £129. Please tell me if this screen will look nice! Thanks

24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - 1920 x 1080, DVI-D with Speakers - HK241DPB

HannsG HK241 24" LCD Monitor
As far as low-priced LCD offerings for your PC go, the HannsG HK241 24" LCD TFT monitor is one of the best deals available. Giving you a standard definition set-up, the HK241's large display could prove to be perfect for people who want an extra bit of screen space for work with design programs, or for more leisurely pastimes such as gaming. HannsG's product could even work wonderfully as the focal screen in a multi-monitor set-up, complementing other standard and widescreen LCD TFTs.

What is a good price to pay for a mid to high end gaming computer in 2018?

1100$ Is a good price JUST for the pc not including extra accessories or monitors and ect but if i could i would go for 1300$ to get the more premium graphic card and here is a build i made that you can use if you wantCPU: Intel i5 8600k ( Best for gaming price per performance, dont look at ryzen cpus as they are better for workstations and everyday usage )GPU: GTX 1060 6 GB ( i really reccomend you to get a 1070 or even a 1070Ti but the 1060 is a really good 1080p Ultra BOMB the GTX 1070 is a better option, if you want maybe 1440p, or 120fps gaming and want the card to last about a year moreRAM: 8x2 2400Mhz CORSAIR VENGENCE is a really great deal eventho 8gb is enough 16gb will definitely give you the edge to record your games and multitask get higher Mhz ram if is not more expensiver then 15$the rest is up to you depending on how many PCIE slots you want how much power and ect

Does CyberPower make good PC's?

I bought a PC from them after I configured it online (that was 4 yrs ago). No problem with the parts, they were as I chose them and came with all the CD's. I chose to get a PC with no OS, and wish I hadn't ( a few years back it was harder to install an OS from scratch). Let them do it for you if you can afford it (Vista Premium is $100, but perhaps XP is a better choice for gaming).

Also check the HP new gaming machines. They looked wonderful.

Is it a good time now to build a gaming PC?

Due to fluctuating prices of individual components, one could argue that it’s never a good time to build a PC. For the most part, component prices aren’t bad. The exception to this is the GPU market. Due to the cryptocurrency mining mess, GPU prices are a lot higher than what they should be. Prices are slowly returning to normal which would lead me to the conclusion that one should build now because once nVidia’s next generation stuff comes out, prices for that will likely skyrocket and won’t be worth the purchase.Besides, one doesn’t need the bleeding edge of video cards to have a good experience. I still run a GeForce Titan which is a 7th gen GPU and I can still play most games on max settings at 1080p with no major frame rate issues. Bearing in mind that a GTX 1080 (10th gen) is about 130+% faster than my Titan, you could do 1440p gaming at max settings with no major frame rate issues.I usually budget about $2500 for a gaming rig. This gets me pretty close to top end and is usually the biggest bang for the buck. Spending more than this leads to diminishing returns on the investment. Unless of course you have money to burn and want the bleeding edge of gaming power. The rig I’m using currently, I built 5 years ago knowing that I wouldn’t have any opportunity to really upgrade so I sunk about $4000 into it, the Titan being $1000 of that cost at the time. It still works well for me today.A decent resource for keeping track of what’s going on is Maximum PC magazine. Especially when it comes to PC builds.
