Is This Normal Weight For My Age And Height

Is this a normal weight for my age and height?

dont worry this is still normal. what u are doing is very good; id even say admirable. ur diet seems pretty good; dont reduce ur eating habits tho they are fine. keep doing it and u will maintain the same weight for some time. this is the best way to go. u are in a healthy weight. if u are more than 30 pounds ur ideal weight then ur close to being overweight . its hard to lose 15 pounds so keep doing what ur doing and maintaining urself. this is great; i wish i had the same habits as u do when i was that young

Are my weight and height normal for my age?

I think you're light for your height, but before anyone slaps a label on you they should know your growth and health history, family's growth patterns, and dietary history. If those things don't raise any warnings, then I'd relax. For young women, a growth spurt (known as "peak height velocity") occurs near the onset of puberty, and most of their adult height is attained by the time they begin menstruation (the high estrogen levels help close the bones' growth plates). Your weight should not only catch up, it should increase as you progress through puberty. If you're not sure everything is OK with you, seek out a medical practitioner with experience in adolescent development for more advice.

What is your age, height and weight?

My age is 20, my height is 5.4, my weight 38, or 40……

My age is 21 & weight is 38 kg.Is it normal?

Thanks for A2A:)Dear,you don't have any health issues including the thyroid test which is negative..great!But you weigh just 38kg which is not okay. You are definitely underweight. Anywhere around 50kg is ideal considering your age and height. So make some effort to put on some weight. Try to follow these tips:Consume at least one banana daily...as each one contains approximately 100 calories.Include starchy foods in your diet regularly. Potatoes are very good examples here.Eat protein rich foods like whole eggs.Add good cholesterol to your diet.Perfect example is peanut butter.Include milk and milk products like cheese, yogurt, butter in moderation.Consume foods prepared in coconut oil.Have those wonder nuts like almonds and pistachios.     Apart from these..drink plenty of water and do basic workouts on regular basis.              Good luck:)Disclaimer:This answer is not a substitute for a professional medical consultation.

What is a healthy weight for my age and height?

Anywhere from 130 to 150lbs

My age is 18, height is 5'6" and my weight is 60kg. How can I be more fit?

Lift with a sound program focusing on compounds, and balancing the anterior and posterior muscle chains(this avoids injuries in the long-term). Focus on good form, with the entire body being rigid and tight except the muscles being exercised. People often forget this part.Sleep well, minimum 7.5 hours a night, no less. Sleep determines energy, your body needs it. Don’t get fooled by those videos where people make it despite sleeping less than 6 hours. In lifting, your body needs sleep, period.Eat well. Get a protein powder if you have to, but it is not necessary. What is necessary is the protein you get. Minimum is 1 gram per kilo of bodyweight, but this is the absolute minimum. Ideal is 1.3–1.6 times. More is not needed.Do these 3 religiously, I guarantee you will sprout muscle.

How can I find out the ideal weight for my height and age?

Go see your doctor before you get concerned, they can clearly evaluate your true BMI.Firstly, you're working out regularly so you can toss this chart in the trash:Secondly, so many factors go into healthy body composition that any simple "rule of thumb" (or maybe a chart per se) is over generalized. I am just a touch over 5'10" and weigh 200 lbs. I don't look like a football player, nor a marathon runner, but I'm certainly not borderline obese as this chart would have me believe. I play sports and have worked out my entire life. My strength to weight ratio is ideal but you would never guess me at 200 lbs. (btw..I win a lot of stuffed animals at the County Fair when they guess my weight). Once upon a time I was concerned about my BMI and its possible effects on my health. My doctor told me that bone density, muscle concentration and cell mass differ with all of us. I guess it was his way of telling me that I was dense! (rim shot). He then told me to get out of his office and enjoy my stuffed animal collection. I'm sure your doctor will tell you much of the same.
