wear what you want, when you want! im the same way, i own waaay too many band shirts and dark things, but i also LOVE to "dress up" i have a lot of cute, frilly shirts, and own a few dresses. i wear what i feel like i want to. My friends dont disown me or talk about me bc of the way i dress. If you get called a "poser" or fake by dumbasses IGNORE IT! forget what is said about you, be yourself. That one day was the last day of my senior year, when my friends and I decided to all wear matching outfits (a white button-down, black skirt, knee boots and a tie, in case you're wondering.) About 98% of my classmates also wore jeans, t-shirts and sweatshirts all or nearly all the time.The people who would reject you for dressing the way you want to were never going to like you for you anyway.

So I usually dress more on the girly side (not ultra girly, but still pretty girly) and like a lot of girls put a lot of effort into my outfit everyday. Recently though I remembered something that an ex-girlfriend told me (I'm bi). She told me that guys prefer it when girls dress more casual and almost like guys. I decided to give it a go and rather than wearing dresses and skirts and stuff like that, I've just been wearing stuff like t-shirts and shorts. Like now I'm just wearing a blue polo and denim shorts, and not really short, girly shorts, just normal knee length ones. Most guys I know just chuck on a t-shirt and shorts before they run out the door without really thinking about it, so I've been doing the same and I think I've been noticing more guys staring at me. I don't mean to brag, but guys are always staring at me, but now it seems like they are even more so. It could be just my imagination, but I'm not sure. Do guys prefer girls who dress up all girly, or girls that just wear t-shirt and shorts?
