Is This Right What My Friend Is Going Through

Do I have the right to be angry at my friends?

An ex friend of mine deliberately smashed my phone about 2 months ago. One of my friends got really really annoyed at it and always cussed her. My ex friend said she was going to pay to eventually telling me to take her to court. Now my friends at school are all up her as$ and can’t get enough of her. What do I do? Do I tell them how I feel? Do I stop hanging out with them?

How can I stop my friend from going the wrong way?

I don’t think you can stop anybody from doing anything – at lest not for long. You can be there for your friend, you can offer help and advice, but that is it. They have to take that help/advice, they have to see they are going wrong, they have to change directon. By themselves, because the only person who can change a person is THAT person. Professional help (therapy) can be an answer, but only, if that friend of yours is willing to even see there is even a problem. The step itself still needs to be taken by them.

Is it right for my boyfriend to go camping with his female friend?

My boyfriend is going to go on a camping trip with a long-time female friend and another couple. She didn't even invite me, which seems very rude. I have kids and I know she probably doesn't want kids along, but I still don't agree with this situation.

My friend is going to kill herself tonight?

Please help, I'm freaking out.

My friend told me she was suicidal and that she's been cutting herself since 6th grade 3 months ago and made me SWEAR not to tell. No one but me knows. If I did tell, her mom would yell and her and she'd kill herself for sure, and I'd be the one to blame.

I'm so scared, I just texted her tonight and she said how she wants to die since 3rd grade. I kept pleading her not to, that she has so much to live for, but she won't believe that.

I can't even tell my parents. I'm so scared she'll kill herself tonight and everyone will blame me because I knew before she did it. I'm too mortified to call the police. I don't want to, I love my friend but I'm afraid they'll go to her house and take her away.

I've begged her to see a councilor, but she refuses, saying her mom will find out. Her mom is very strict and mean.

Please help! She texted me goodnight a minute ago and I'm crying and shaking and if she kills herself I wont forgive myself. I don't know what to do. If I don't tell, she might kill herself and I'll be the one to blame, but if I say something, her mom might punish her and then she'll REALLY commit suicide.

She's been cutting too, she keeps telling me how she does it on her chest dangerously close to her neck so no one can see..

Oh my gosh please help I'm so scared and I dont know what to do HELP PLEASE!!! I can't call anyone tonight or my mom will yell at me. Everyone's asleep. She and I are in 8th grade. I'm not trolling. Help me. Please, please. Please help me.

I'm tired of lying awake thinking that if she dies tonight it will be all my fault. I'm so scared. Help me.

My friends are going to a different high school!! :(?

I'm going to Nottingham high school after this year is over, but ALL my friends are going to West. I'm so sad because I love my friends, and I'm not sure if I can keep in touch with them since my parents are really strict and don't let me hang out that often. I don't want to miss anything because I've gotten so close to them. Esspecially my good friend, Marwa who knows me best. I'm afraid that she might forget me...She told me we'll be friends forever but it's so hard to go on without her! There's only 3 people who are going to my high school.....should I try to befriend them? Even then, I'll never find anyone else like my friends. I don't know if I can survive high school without them. That's why I'm trying to make the best of 8th grade right now. But it's just so hard for me.......HELP!

Which usage is right? One of my friends or one of my friend?

That’s a good question as it’s one of the most common grammatical errors I come across as a language trainer! Let’s fix your confusion for good, shall we? :)To relieve the confusion right away, I’d tell you “One of my friends..” is correct. Why? You need to tell yourself that you’re picking one out of many and that many will be ‘friends’ rather than ‘friend’. The meaning that you’re essentially conveying is “I’ve got many friends but at the moment I’m talking about a particular one out of those many friends that I have.” By the same logic, you have “One of the reputed lawyers..” This is essentially the gist. I’ll presently elaborate with another example and an extended explanation from another perspective: Observe“One of my best friend gifted me this watch.” (Incorrect)“One of my best friends gifted me this watch.” (Correct)If something is ‘one’ out of something else, then that something else has to be in plural numbers in order to part with one of itself. If you’re talking about one friend out of that same one friend, perhaps you’re severing/cutting their body into half to take away a part of them from them! :D Now that just isn’t the thanks someone who gifts you a watch deserves! Haha!Another instance would be:“This is one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.”I’m sure you can figure out the correction by now which would be one of the best hotels. Since again, if something is one out of something else, the something else needs be from a group of two or more.

Is it correct to say me and my friend are going to eat out?

In casual conversation this kind of thing happens a lot, even though it is strictly not grammatical. Leif Sundblad’s answer is right on. Things get more strict when you write, though. Some prescriptive types would complain about ending a sentence with “out”, too. I don’t follow that rule though, even in formal writing.

My friend is going through a bad phase. How can I help him?

If he is near you, try talking to him.Talk him out to some beach or if he is foodie, take him to a good place. If he is far away from you, keep calling him and let him know that u care about him.Talk him out or ask him to go out with the friends there. If you can solve his problem, do it else try.

What do I say to a friend who is going through a difficult time?

I remember a day in 10th standard, our teacher came into class and gave a statement that has opened my mind and helped me to this day, He said,“Humans beings can’t be found without some sort of woes and worries.”So, we have to understand that tough times are a part of our life and in different times, challenges are different. The problems and challenges change as we progress in our lives.Secondly, there is nothing for eternity. Everything in this world is time bound. Every happiness and every trial has a time period and they usually come alternatively after each other.Indeed there is ease after each difficulty as stated in the last chapter of Quran. So, you need to tell your friend to be patient because patience is the best strategy at the times of discomfort. With patience and hope, one can come out of every difficult situation. So, she needs to be patient and be hopeful to get out of this situation while striving to make things better. In families, complaining and arguing doesn’t help usually no matter the culture one comes from. Patience and compassion does help indeed. One who is patient and helpful won’t be left alone.

My best friend is going to prom with my ex what should i do?

I don't get why people feel betrayed when a friend goes out with an ex. You broke up, so it's not cheating, so get over it.
