I have never been able to verify this, but I have heard about it. I once had a constant ringing of the ear which the doctor was able to cure. I also get ringing of the ear when I have a cold or flu.

Oh my gosh! This happened to me today, and then I talked to my husband maybe 5 minutes later (on the phone) and he said his Godmother and her husband were just talking about me! Good thing it was my right ear ringing because that is supposed to be good and the left bad. No, they said that when I was a kid too, and I bought into it. If someone was talking about me every time my ears rang they need to find something else to do! They ring chronically and I have vertigo. They also said if your palm itched you were getting money and there was another one that meant to have this happen (I don’t remember what) you would receive a letter, kiss or something better.
