Is Worrying A Sickness

6 weeks pregnant and no morning sickness?!?

Im 6 weeks and one day today and still no morning sickness. I have yet to see a doctor because I have no health insurance but I just applied for one so when that comes in Im going to see a doctor but I have not had morning sickness at all. I am a worry wort so I worry that something may be wrong, like I may really not be pregnant or something is wrong with the baby. My mom thinks that its a boy because I have not had morning sickness yet but I have a few weeks until we will find out.

Morning sickness comes and goes?

For all of the women in my family who have been pregnant, they say that their's would come and go. I wasn't so lucky, but everyone's body is different and handles pregnancy different.
One day, you'll be sicker than you thought possible, and the next, you'll feel up to doing your normal routine. Pregnancy is a crazy rollercoaster!

If you ever just feel like something is wrong, it doesn't hurt to call up your doctor or midwife just to double check with them.

But all this worrying isn't helping anything! (Easier said than done, not to worry, I know! :) )

Hang in there and try to relax. :)

How can I stop worrying over my disease?

You just stop. Remember, when you think of it, you’re only stressing yourself; it may actually lead to depression and be a cause of a new disease. Just stop thinking of it! Thinking of it will do no good; it won’t make it go away or make it better, it will only make it worse. You could try to live the best out of life, I don’t mean like go and get wasted. Just go and enjoy life a wee bit more or much much more and forget about your disease, make a day more meaningful. Focus on the positives of life and TRUST GOD.

Morning sickness causing me to not be able to eat...worried....more details inside!?

I survived on popsicles for my first 16 weeks of pregnancy. That and lemons! I also lost 15 pounds, and I was tiny to begin with. I was worried, but now that I'm at 35 weeks, I can tell you it's fine. Let your doctor know what's going on, but as long as your baby is growing, you'll be fine. You might not feel fine, but the baby will be healthy. You do need to make sure you're taking your prenatals - that's the key! So be sure to take them at a time of day when you can keep them down. The way my doctor explained it to me was that my body will deliver the nutrients the baby needs first, and then I get the leftovers. So while baby will grow and have everything it needs, you might feel bad. Also, it's important to drink lots and lots of water. That will keep you hydrated and keep you from passing out - you don't want that from happening! And, if it continues, your doctor can prescribe Zofram. I finally got on that, and while it did stop the vomiting, it didn't really stop the nausea, but I was okay with that. It all went away by week 18, and now things couldn't be better! Good luck!

Can worrying about being pregnant make you feel pregnant?

you can make yourself think you have a cold if you tell yourself that often enough and yes you can feel pregnant when your really not and no you cannot bleed when you are pregnant that is not good for the baby. if your period was normal then i would not worry about it you are probably just having after sickness from your period 3 days ago that can also happen too. you know how you feel 3 days before your period that is the same afterwords also. mother of 7

Is worrying and over thinking too much until you feel physically sick an anxiety attack?

No, an anxiety or panic attack comes on very suddenly and eventually stops. For anyone who has ever experienced such an issue, it feels like you might be having a heart attack, which is why it’s disconcerting for people.During a panic attack, specific changes occur in the body, such as the heart begins racing, sweat glands begin overproducing sweat and a person’s breathing pattern quickens. This is due to the amygdala portion of the brain sensing a threat, the body is preparing to deal with that threat. It’s important to note that your body cannot distinguish between a physical or psychological threat, it’s all the same to your brain.Worrying or ruminating about things excessively is commonly called Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) in clinical terms. A panic attack will eventually subside and your body will return to homeostasis, when you have GAD, the worrying is constant, it may increase or decrease somewhat but it is always there, in the background.

Is it normal to be 7 weeks pregnant with no morning sickness?

For most of the women it starts around six weeks. The hormone change during pregnancy is responsible for morning sickness, so you will not experience morning sickness before a positive pregnancy test (since those tests measure HCG level). Any nausea you feel before then is nerves or unrelated. However it is also the case that a minority of women never experience any morning sickness. Moreover there are many myths revolve around the morning sickness, which you can read it Here: Vidhya Ramasubramanian(Chief Nutritionist) – Morning Sickness Myths | Cloudnine Blog

Does a free diver need to worry about decompression sickness, or are they not down long enough? The record is 702 feet. Wouldn't even a minute at those pressures be dangerous when surfacing?

You need to consider to mass of the nitrogen in lungs, not the depth. If the air isn't pressurized and the breath occurred at surface, nitrogen won't dissolve in blood any more quickly than on land. The lungs shrink severely under this pressure at depths of 700+ft since the air inside is at 1atm pressure, but the number of nitrogen atoms is the same.

Felt faint, dizzy and sick before my period. Something to worry about?

First of all, I would have four or five doctors run that diabetic diagnostic test because I was also diagnosed by one doctor as being borderline diabetic and another doctor in the same doctor's office said "Oh, no, I wouldn't have even said that you were anywhere close to that". I checked with a couple of other doctors who also agreed with the second diagnosis.

Period pains:
I did noticed that when I was on an intense exercise regimen- two hours a day, my period symptoms were not as intense.

Also, if you are not already doing this, you make consider start taking Aleve 1-2 days before you start your period. I usually take 1 pill every 8-12 hours. My best girlfriend who is a nurse at University of Penn in the maternity ward, noticed how bad my period symptoms were and suggested that during the period, I take (1) 220mg Aleve every 8 hours and (1) 500mg Tylenol every 6 hours. Make sure that you NEVER take the Aleve and Tylenol together AND ALWAYS take it with a full glass of water.... at least 8 ounces AND with food. If the intervals happen to intersect, take the Aleve first, wait an hour and half to two hours and then take the Tylenol. She said that the nurses usually give this dosage to their patients who experience extreme period pain. This regimen really helped me.

Please note: I am not a doctor. I am just sharing what has worked for me. So I would check with your doctors, nurses, girlfriend's moms and your own mother. Also please note that I am saying: do your research but realize that you have to get to know yourself to figure out what works for you.

I would also suggest that you always have small bottles/cans of ginger ale and crackers in your locker if this is allowed at your school. Also, warm soups broth based soups like Lipton to go, hot chocolate packets, hot cereal packets, warm milk with honey, chamomile or ginger root tea, and crazy as it sounds, microwaved bananas. Place a yellow banana with the skin in the microwave, just watch it until the skin turns brown. Peel back the skin and enjoy with a spoon or sprinkle a bit a sugar and cinnamon. These things are great in the winter or when I feel cold in the summer during my period.

In the summer when I am hot, smoothies with ginger or banana or chocolate are so satisfying.

The Starbucks Banana Chocolate Smoothie or Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey Ice Cream is so satisfying.

Good luck to you!
