Isnt If Funny How Libs Blame Business For Dropping Employees

Isn't Obama's Administration looking Stalin's in Russia!?

In 1931 - for those who do not look at history! Russia set up a 5-Year Soviet / American Plan! Stalin was just coming on the scene! Millions DIED including over 3,000 Americans who wanted a better life after the Depression of 1929!

Stalin first started to take over Private Businesses - Then the Banks - Then the Newspapers - Health Care - GEE - Does not this sound like Exactly what Obama IS DOING?

My Core Family is From Russia! I grew up with all the Horror Stories - that still give me night-mares even Today! Not nice!

I am seeing Exactly what has been explained to me so many times! I have heard from Family that have gone on to Leave Russia - Some still alive that remember as children or young adults! They have been sending me letters of Concern because of what Obama is Doing - They see it TOO!

What are your thoughts on this? America is turning to a Fascist State - Communists! I do NOT believe that Americans that voted for Obama have ANY IDEA what is going on. Or they don't want to see it!

We Can NOT let America Fail! The Tea Parties are Continuing! Please we MUST be Peaceful - but Vigilant!

Peace to All and God Bless! Jane.

Why do backend developers think frontend programming is a waste of time?

As a full-stack developer, I really dislike FrontEnd development. I think it is a waste of my time but not in a demeaning way like its easy or unnecessary. It is, because FrontEnd development deals problems with the UI environment which is inherently not related to programming algorithms or business logic. FrontEnd problems are generally not computational problems. You have to solve problems which occur due to the loose structure of CSS environment and you do so much experimentation on how to make some ui element the way it is designated by the design. Designing the architechture of html and JS maybe the only fun part of it (in my opinion ofc). Rest though, is very boring, and in my opinion that is a waste of my time where I could be dealing with problems and tasks that are related directly to the business logic instead of why a goddamn floating element’s zIndex property would not work under this and that conditions. FrontEnd development is as hard as BackEnd development gets, but it is more frustrating than the latter. In that sense, I do not want to spend time dealing with FE, but a lot of respect goes to the people who does this job properly.

How do big software companies avoid bad programmers making existing code worse?

This is a question I could write a few books on. I'd title them something like this:(How bad developers gave me) 50 shades of grey (hair);Code Reviews for Dummies; The Lost Battle (apologies to Cornelius Ryan).OK, humor aside, many developers are simply net negative. Identifying them, getting them focused in the right direction (or failing that, quickly getting rid of them), and identifying and repairing any damage are the three things to accomplish. You may recognize some of these points in this essay, based loosely on a conversation that I had with Bruce Eckel: Hiring the Rowing-Forward 30%In general, you need to focus less on the "bad programmers" problem, and more on the "misdirected programmers". Most of the time, your worst enemy is not a bad programmer, per se, but a programmer who is very productive in the wrong direction. Many of the worst cases that I've had to deal with over the years were well-intentioned people who either (a) were focused on the wrong goals, (b) were not focused at all, or (c) were morons. However, much to my surprise, most of these cases were not morons. No, most of the people causing harm are surprisingly intelligent -- which makes it all the more infuriating! The most effective first step to "avoiding bad programmers" is to be very clear what the goals are, and how progress and success will be measured. If nothing else, be very clear on what the goals are, because that is the number one way to get people working roughly in the correct general direction.I've been very fortunate to work with quite a few talented programmers. Every once in a while I do run into programmers who simply are not good programmers. These are typically identified in code reviews, or as a result of the bugs that they defecate onto everything that they touch. Sometimes, when the spotlight is put onto them, these people learn quickly, e.g. in code reviews. Otherwise, they need to simply go to another industry where they will cause less harm -- like brain surgery, for example.I'd like to reiterate, though, that most "bad programers" turn out to be poorly directed programmers, and not simply idiots. And often, that lack of direction is the fault of management (hence, at least for the last few years, a finger that I have to point directly at myself.)For the sake of full disclosure, I work at Oracle. The opinions and views expressed in this post are my own, and do not necessarily reflect the opinions or views of my employer.

How many companies will stop offering healthcare insurance and just pay the fine?

Before Obamacare there was no legal requirement for companies to offer a health care plan at all. Those that did did so because they wanted to attract and keep good employees. Wouldn't they still want to do that?

Those of us who favor Obamacare see it as only a good start, a good first step. The best way to make changes like this is to make a change, then watch to see how well it works, and then make another change based on what we learned. Personally I see a single payer plan as inevitable, it's just the best way to handle the problem of universal coverage. Obamacare will either get us closer to universal coverage or it won't. If not, we'll try something else!

Why are there all black colleges and not all white ones?

It began formally in the 80's when black people would only buy products that promote them. The gay community works the same way. Those that promote negative images against another culture or race would be banned. A good example is Geico insurance which portray sub cultures as primitive and or condescending would thus be banned from groups. The move or revolt happen during the Clinton administration and help galvanize minorities images on tv. The back side of the scenario was that many amateur white actors who get script parts for commercial, and movies, were cut off in the exchange.

Why do Republicans support tax cuts to the rich?

Three reasons. The first is based on this wonderful tool:This is the Laffer Curve, invented (supposedly on a napkin) during a lunch between two conservative economists, Arthur Laffer and Jude Wanniski. What this thing supposedly says is, there is one “magic” tax rate that maximizes government revenue. If the rate is too low, you’ll leave money on the table; according to the conservatives, if it’s too high you’ll discourage people from working harder. (Which is BS on its face; what a too-high tax rate really does is incentivize tax evasion.) The Laffer Curve is a great classroom exercise that doesn’t translate to the real world for many reasons, “there’s more than one tax rate in America” is at the top of the list. However, it was the basis for Reaganomics.Reason 2. In the 1960s we had a president named John F. Kennedy - the last president to be assassinated. One of his biggest acts was to cut the top tax rate from 90 percent to 70. This caused the national economy to take off like a rocket. The GOP remembers those halcyon days and thinks, “if we slash taxes we can replicate Kennedy’s success!” Kennedy’s success was something that will never be duplicated, and this is why.The tax rate was as high as it was so we could pay off World War II. By the time Kennedy was inaugurated, we’d reduced the war debt enough we didn’t really need the excess money. Our current tax rate is, if anything, too low - as witnessed by our very high national debt. If we were taking in enough money to pay the bills, the debt wouldn’t be that high.IBM and Remington Rand were bringing reasonably-priced computers to market; the savings from Kennedy’s tax cut made their purchase more feasible. We’re out of truly groundbreaking new technologies.Kennedy’s tax rate was still high enough - close to double the current one! - that the government could still afford to build bridges, shoot men to the moon and fund the schools. The federal budget is so tight right now, if a hurricane hits Florida tomorrow the first thing we have to do is figure out what in the budget we have to cut to afford a truckload of sandbags for Florida.Reason 3.Grover Norquist is the leading proponent of “starve the beast” tax structures, and he works hard to run off any congressman who won’t go along with him on them.
