A boss asking about sexual orientation
And questions about sexual past and history such as: was your ex boyfriend sexually rough / aggressive with you?

If someone flips you the bird could it be considered harassment?

Not if it only happens once. Harassment is defined as a continued course of conduct that serves no purpose other than to intimidate, frighten, or annoy. A one time event is not a "continued course of conduct".

It may fit the definition of disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, or criminal mischief, but I doubt you will find anyone interested in prosecuting if it only happened once.

Is it considered harassment if people are mad dogging you?

like i have these pesky neighbors who overlook my house, and every time i walk home the stare me down, and before they could cuss under there breath before i cussed them back out,

If you punch someone that is harassing you verbally, is it considered self-defense? Is it legal?

As a rule, there is no amount of verbal harassment that justifies or excuses assault. Unless the person uses actual “fighting words” (and not just “I should get up, walk over to you and kick your a**”), you are not acting in self-defense.In order to establish a defense of self-defence, you have to prove that:You believed (even subjectively) that you were in danger of physical injury at the hands of the assailant; and;You used force proportional to the danger of injury to yourself. For example, you can’t shoot someone who is threatening you with their fists, but you can certainly hold them off with your hands and fists. However, all that being said, although you will be found guilty, the punishment can vary wildly. If, for example, the verbal harassment was objectively provocative (i.e. any reasonable person would have been provoked to anger by the words) and the harasser was deliberately trying to provoke you, you may get away with a discharge or probation. Typically, if a person is baiting you into throwing the first punch, the law won’t come down hard on you.

Is it considered harassment if police continue to drive by my house slowly repeatedly after being arrested?

I haven't been arrested before but say if I were to be arrested and make bail shortly after, would it be considered harassment by the police if they continue to drive by my house slowly several times. I live in an area of a small town where most cars that go by are neighbors and ever since being arrested I have notice several cops drive by my house slowly. I live in small town in Tennessee so if that helps with the specific laws regarding your answer.
