Judge My Riding Video

What do you think of my riding [video]?

Not too bad. When you are doing the posting trot, you are way over posting. Try keeping your posts smaller and closer to the saddle. Also, try to keep your hands quieter. Bend at your elbows when you are posting, and don't let your hands "post" with you. Also, once you make your post smaller, your hands will automatically stop moving as much.

Your stirrups are too far back on your foot in some of the clips which is keeping you from being able to put your heel down. Your reins are also a bit long, but if your horse is used to a western rein length, you will need to slowly get him used to a shorter rein. If he is fine with a shorter rein, then shorten your reins. This will also help you keep your hands quieter because you won't have to make such dramatic moves to turn your horse or make any corrections.

When you are jumping, you are jumping for your horse which is also known as jumping ahead. Since these jumps are so small, you don't need to be folding so much. You get left behind at a few of the jumps, but this happens to everyone, and that will happen less and less the longer you jump. You have a pretty good long crest release, and with more experience you will be able to start using a short crest release and eventually an automatic release.

Overall, very good for just beginning riding english. The problems you have won't take very long to fix because none of them are major problems.

Don't take this as bragging or anything, but here are some videos of me riding. This will give you an idea of how big your posts should be, how long your reins should be, and where your stirrups should be. Keep in mind, I'm not perfect, but I've been riding english for 7 years now, so maybe seeing someone more experienced with english well help you know more of what things should look like. I will also post links to the channels of some other people who are good riders. Good luck!!!

Honestly do you hate giving rides to your friends?

Okay so I am a college student and I don't have my driver's license yet because I got so busy it was pushed back but I am planning to get my license in the summer. I joined a club on campus and the meetings run really late that my carpool which is my sister is long gone and one of the members drops me off home which is only 2 miles away from where he lives. He gives the other members rides too and they do not give him money for it. I told him I really feel bad but he said don't be as long as you ask it's okay. I still have a feeling he is not telling the truth. We both come from wealthy families so it is very embarassing for me to get free rides from him. I am thinking of buying a gas card worth a couple of hundred dollars at the end of the semester to thank him for all the rides he has given me.

Should I be afraid of death when driving a motorcycle?

I guess the first question is “Should you be afraid of death in the first place?”, regardless of what you are doing. Then you should consider that, even if you never ride one, wrap yourself in cotton wool and avoid all risks, you will definitely end up dead eventually. There’s little doubt the risk on two wheels is higher than being strapped into a metal box. The stats are fairly conclusive. Although, I heard that you stand a higher risk of accidents in the first 5yrs than the next 50. I haven’t fact checked that but the general indication seems true.Personally, it’s not dying that bothers me. If I’m dead, I won’t have anything to worry about. It’s the being not being dead but horribly mangled that worries me more. I ride as though every other driver is blind and those that aren’t want to kill me :-D That and developing the 360 degree 6th sense of an ace fighter pilot helps. The rate for motorcycles is 72.34 per 100,000 registered motorcycles. Motorcycles also have a higher fatality rate per unit of distance travelled when compared with automobiles. Per vehicle mile traveled, motorcyclists' risk of a fatal crash is 35 times greater than a passenger car.Motorcycle safety - WikipediaMotorcycle safety - Wikipedia

Why do people judge scooter (Honda Activa) riders who wear good riding gear like helmets, gloves, etc.? Today while I was stuck in traffic, I heard people behind me laughing about how I was looking like a fool wearing the safety gear.

They are idiots.I have only had one traffic accident on a 2-wheel vehicle. It was a Parilla Greyhound scooter (150cc if I remember), the first factory-made scooter I ever owned. It was 1961. I was in downtown Kalamazoo (I was attending Western Michigan University) on Main Street. It was a sunny weekday afternoon. The speed limit was 25 mph. There was very little traffic.I was wearing only a shirt and bluejeans. Helmets were not even readily available at that time and I never had seen one except in stock car races. Never on the street.I was downtown to buy a new front brake cable at the dealer as mine had broken. Since I had only the rear brake I was riding VERY carefully, about 20 mph or so. A large Buick driven by an elderly gentleman was sitting at a cross-street waiting to cross Main St. Right in front of the County CourthouseSuddenly he decided to quickly cross the street just as I approached him. I saw him and slammed on the rear brake. I ended up hitting him in the front door with the front fork/wheel. I doubt that even the front brake would have made any difference. I was not injured, but if he had been a fraction of a second slower he would have run over me. Ditto if I had been driving at the speed limit.A cop at a payphone on the corner witnessed the whole accident and was there within seconds. The drivers (elderly black man) main concern was for the damage to his car. When the cop gave him a ticket he said “I’m getting the ticket just because his (my) face is white”. I felt badly for him as I am sure he had experienced real racism in his lifetime, but this was not that…..He was waiting at a stop sign and for whatever reason drove right into my path. It was his fault. Don’t know if he didn’t see me or misjudged my speed or simply didn’t care and thought I would stop as his car was bigger. This scenario is probably the most common one for MC/vehicle accidents. Most MC accidents happen within a few miles from home. They can happen at any speed. They can easily kill you.I see lots of scooter riders around here. Most are totally unprotected. Some with shorts and a t-shirt and flip-flops on. I have never seen one with more than a helmet and bluejeans for protection. They are idiots. And people who laugh at those helmeted riders are even stupider.I hope those helmeted riders add a jacket and gloves in the future. Unless they don’t really need their fingers or their skin.

Why do the police ride my bumper? I’m driving the speed limit. Are they trying to make me speed up so they can give me a ticket?

Years ago I had a 1995 Pontiac Formula Firebird with the 5.7L engine and 6-speed manual transmission. It was around 1997 and I was driving from Detroit to Kokomo, Indiana. I had pulled off I-69 and onto the two-lane hwy 22 (State hwy 35), heading West. It was well past midnight and there was almost no traffic. The speed limit was 55 mph. Since I was in no hurry, it was a beautiful night and virtually no traffic, I set the cruise control right at 55 and enjoyed the drive.I was about halfway to Greentown when out of nowhere, a pair of headlights came rocketing up behind me. I recognized the headlight pattern as a Ford Crown Victoria. As there was no other traffic, we were in a passing zone and the road stayed straight for many miles, I figured whoever it was would just pass me.But they didn’t. They stayed behind me for about a mile, then crept up on my bumper. I felt like down-shifting into 3rd gear and leaving them in the dust, however something told me not to. Then they started backing off and speeding up again quickly, obviously trying to goad me into speeding. “Nope, not playing that game”, I said to myself. I just kept the cruise on 55.Then they flipped on their brights. After a short time they started riding my bumper so close I couldn’t even see their headlights. Sorry buddy, no dice. Soon, they flipped off their brights and backed off, but still followed me.When I got into Greentown where there were streetlights, I could see that it was a Howard County Sheriff’s vehicle. They followed me through town, then turned off onto another street. Obviously, the deputy was trying to create a reason to pull me over, but had given up.Over the next few days I had made some inquiries. I was told that the authorities were having problems with illegal substances being smuggled into the area and the source was Detroit. Having a high-performance car with a Michigan license plate had made me a target in that case. When being tailgated, the best policy is to just keep your cool and not play that game. If you do get pulled over and you think it’s unjust, don’t argue with the cop, as that will just make things worse. Take it to court and hash it out in front of the judge.

Can I bring a guitar to jail?

I got a reckless driving ticket and most likely the judge will put me in jail for like a day. The cops got me at 90/65. I sold my bike 3 days after that and quit riding, but I think the judge will hate me because I'm a young 19 years old kid who ride motorcycle. But I'm a straight A's student in college by the way.

My question is can I bring a guitar to jail? Just wanna play some music to make the jail a little fun and help inmates feel a little better since they've been there for months. I'm a pretty good guitar player lol!!

Are there any websites where I can rate video games and see their ratings from critics and users in a similar fashion to how IMDb rates movies?

Weell, I am trying to do something in that fashion. I am trying to make summarized game pages for games, with ratings, DLC, editions, and best prices from shops. It’s in the beginning stages, and I have around 55 games added, but it’s a start. Going to shamelessly plug my site here:Game Buyer's GuideAnyway, if you want something like IMDB for games, then IGDB exists:IGDB.com - Credits, Top Critics, Reviews, Videos and ScreenshotsThough it somewhat lacks focus and doesn’t really offer good info for buying games. I know, I’m biased.

What was that story Judge Judy told about the three girls who stabbed another girl to death on the subway?

Judge Judy, once on her show, told what I thought was a rather shocking story about a case she presided over involving the stabbing death of a girl named Marisol. It was in NYC back in the 80s when she was a criminal court judge. Marisol was a student at FIT, and she was riding the subway one day and wearing large, circular earrings. When a group of three girls got on the same car, one girl said, "Run those earrings!" So Girl 1 got Marisol by the hair. Girl 2 got an earring, and Girl 3 stabbed Marisol to death.

I've done Google searches, by I've never been able to find any articles about this story.
