Justme From Which Country Not Section

Greece section Name 5 countries around the world that you like or love and why?

This was an interesting article, and a contact of mine--who seems to be fascinated with names--showed me an article about the naming laws in Germany, and I thought it made sense. A parent who wants to give their child a unique name is one thing, but a parent who names their child something that is going to be offensive, extremely long, completely unpronounceable, or something absolutely ridiculous that it will get them harassed aren't being great parents. Seriously. I can't understand why a parent would put their own selfish need to be unique above their child's self-esteem and well-being. Are you that afraid that your child's personality won't be enough to make them stand out that you have to give them an unimaginably ridiculous name to make them stand out? Should there be laws? Yes, there very well should be, because there are some people who are just that stupid and cruel out there that will name their child Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11... and have it pronounced as Albin. I know unusual names, but if I met that Typo-Boy, I'm not sure I would be able to stop myself from laughing. Do their parents want this to happen to their children every time they're asked for their name? Are they doing this for shits and giggles? Do they not have the capacity to think about how much of an outcast their child will be in school and in the workplace when they grow up? Can they not see how seriously people will *not* take them? Do they not give a damn about their child in the least? I understand wanting to fight the laws, but why put your child at stake? You'd sacrifice your child to overturn a law that isn't necessarily harming someone? Frankly, I think those courts should've looked into more than just the name. Apple is fine. I mean, it's not really fine, but it's not an absolutely horrible name. Pilot Inspektor on the other hand is beyond ridiculous as is Sage Moonblood. Just because you're a celebrity, it doesn't mean your child is going to be treated like freakin' royalty or they're going to be excused for having that name. Children can be really cruel, and they don't differentiate between famous children and not famous children, so chances are that those kids are going to have a difficult time in school, more than other children most likely. If their parents were smart enough to realize this, maybe *they* wouldn't have been so cruel and opted to give them a stupid name. Someone help those poor children.

Three countries out of the 196 countries of the world are not member states of the United Nations. They are:1. Kosovo: Kosovo declared independence from Serbia on on February 17, 2008 but has not gained complete international recognition to allow it to become a member of the United Nations.2. Taiwan: In 1971 the People's Republic of China (mainland China) replaced Taiwan (also known as the Republic of China) in the United Nations. China considers Taiwan to be a part of its own territory and hence argues that if Taiwan were to be included in the UN, it would be a validation of Taiwan's sovereign status which the Chinese government hasn't recognized till date.3. The Vatican: The independent papal state of 771 people (including the Pope) was created in 1929. They have not chosen to become part of the international organization. According to the Vatican  website, its special position as a permanent observer arises by its own choice on the grounds that, although it fills the criteria of statehood required for membership, it wishes to remain neutral in political affairs.Apart from these 3, Switzerland has been recognized as a member nation but is a participant, i.e. it can observe but cannot vote. Also, Palestine though not formally recognized by the UN has the same status as Switzerland.Thank you for Asking me To Answer Shariq!

What is this country songs title, it's about real life?

James Wesley - "Real"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxGCB6bw4...

Five-hundred channels and there ain't much on tonight
Except reality shows about some folk's so-called lives
A pretty girl cries 'cause she don't get a rose
But she'll find love next year on her own show

And they call that real

Real is a hand you hold fifty-seven years
Real is a band of gold tremblin' with fear
It's the first long tear down an old man's face, watchin' his angel slippin' away
His heart's so broke, it's never gonna heal

I call that real

Where I live, housewives don't act like that
And the survivors are farmers in John Deere hats
Our amazin' race is beatin' the check
Prayin' that the bank ain't ran it through yet

Real, like too much rain fallin' from the sky
Real, like the drought that came around here last July
It's the damn boll weevils and the market and the weeds, the prayer they're sayin' when they plant the seeds
And the chance they take to bring us our next meal

I call that real

Real, like a job you lose 'cause it moves to Mexico
Like a mama and a baby with no safe place to go
Like a little dream-house with a big old foreclosed sign
Like a flag-draped coffin and a twenty-one gun goodbye

I call that real
Man, I call that real
Oh, I call that real

I think that country code will refer to the Asian regions. it will be one of the Asian countries, but not very clear which country it is. I remember receiving a call (missed it actually) with that country code and kept me pondering over for hours before I called back and was surprised to be speaking with a friend who just made it to JapanI’ll propose JAPAN, but just try googling again to be sure.

I don't believe there are; however, there are developed nations that spend very very little on social welfare. Among these are South Korea, which spends only 9.3% of GDP on social welfare (as compared to the USA's 20%), Chile (if I hear anyone say Chile isn't a developed nation, somebody's gonna get smacked), with 10.2%, and the arguably developed Turkey, which spends 12.8%. It must be said, though, that almost all nations considered developed--those of western Europe, Australasia, etc.--spend at least 20% of GDP on social welfare. Furthermore, empirically and generally speaking, the higher the spending on social welfare, the lower the relative and absolute poverty indexes.

Shouldn't the western half section of Turkey be considered part of Europe?

well. latitude has nothing to do with it. if it does, then Mongolia can also be considered as european, as it is more northern than turkey!!

the fact is that malta and cyprus are closer to the southern european countries than to northern african countries... and as they are culturally more similar to their european counterparts, it doesn't make sense to join the arab league when there is the european union.

turkey on the other hand, is at a crossroads. unlike the islands, it is connected by land to the middle eastern countries and is also culturally close (maybe not in all parts).

and there is your answer. maybe the turks won't feel so comfortable being in the eu, where they might be required to change some of their practices in order to be accepted, and likewise the europeans might not feel comfortable bending their rules to accomodate a country like turkey.

as you said, richness and the like should not be used to qualify a european country. and as you mentioned yourself, bulgaria and romania are not rich, yet they are in the european union as they are GEOGRAPHICALLY on european terrain.

sorry, but if all the countries are allowed entry in the european union, then it wouldn't remain a EUROPEAN union, you understand?

it's all a question of geography i guess!!!

I've been browsing through this section and?

So you HATE America and will always hate America because of what it has done to the world. From the native Indians to today in the Muslim lands.
Do you also hate Islam for butchering over 80 million when they conquered India?
Do you also hate muslim terrorists for killing innocent people?
Do you also hate Syria, Egypt, Libya and Iran for putting their people through hell?
You need to check your History; if you do you will notice that every conquering nation have done the very same thing as America; that's including many Islamic countries,
When Arab warriors left their desert homes to conquer other countries, they killed millions in the name of Allah.
Before you dare to trash America you should first trash Muslims who committed many more atrocities that the US.
