Kaepernick Or Luck Which Is Better Fantasy Wise

Should I start: Flacco, Fitzpatrick, or Alex Smith?

Boy, if that was clear-cut, I guess it wouldn't make for a good Quora question, so here goes.Fitzpatrick: he's got a decent floor (only 1 sub-15-point game this year), but the only time he's crested 23 was when he ran for a TD in week 3. He also threw 3 picks that game. Philly tends to get into ridiculous shootouts and is really generous to QBs (aside from the Giants shutout, every QB has scored 22+ points on them).Flacco: he's way, way streakier. Last week he put up 195/0/2, good for 11 points (sigh), but he also hung 306/5/0 on the Bucs in week 6. This week he's going to Pittsburgh – the Steelers got roasted by Luck last week (34.6 points) and Fitz even did well the week before (22.7). But the Steelers get a few defenders back from injury this week. Flacco's not a sure bet to blow the place up.Smith: he's got a 12-point floor and 25-point ceiling so far this year. The Chiefs just rely on the ground game way too much for his value to be stable – Smith hasn't had a single 300-yard game, and in his two 20+ point games he threw 3 touchdowns, so you're basically gambling that the Chiefs decide to score through the air instead of on the ground. The Jets' secondary is terrible, so this is entirely possible. So, there's some insight into each. It's a tough call – all 3 will probably have okay games, but I don't see any sign that anybody will dip under 15 or over 25 points. I think the most intriguing play is actually Fitz – aside from the Giants in week 6, the Eagles can't seem to stop anybody, and Fitzpatrick actually has downfield weapons, unlike Alex Smith.

2014 NFL Season: Are the Seahawks overrated?

I think you the only worthwhile way to address this question is on a season by season basis.2014: Seahawks (who just lost to the Pats in the Super Bowl): slightly overrated because of how lucky they got to win the NFC Championship (if they play that game 10 times, Green Bay wins 7). Also, they let a mediocre Carolina hang around for way too long in the Divisional round.2013: Seahawks (world champs): properly rated. It's hard to overrate a team that romps in the Super Bowl, but they've gotten their due.2012: Seahawks (lost to Atlanta in the Divisional round): significantly underrated. NO ONE wanted to play this team. Atlanta won by the skin of their teeth. They were loaded that year.As far as players: Richard Sherman, perennially overrated. (elite corners can cover on both sides of the field.)Earl Thomas, underrated then properly rated (because he was too good not to notice) then overrated (due to a post contract exptension down year)Kam Chancellor, properly ratedBobby Wagner, underratedMarshawn Lynch, properly ratedRussel Wilson, properly rated.

Who should I start Week 1 of fantasy football: Colin Kaepernick or Andrew Luck?

I believe Colin Kaepernick is the better quarterback, but Andrew Luck is playing the Raiders who have a relatively poor defense. Colin Kaepernick is facing the Packers, a bit stronger than the Raiders in my view.
