Can my computer run a PS2 emulator (Kingdom Hearts II)?

OK so that guy above me wrote a LOT and said almost nothing useful. Anyways, your graphics card and RAM specs are pretty low for running PCSX2, UNLESS you play using default or low settings. Luckily your quad core CPU saves you and gives you a chance to run games smoothly.

Now, before you install make sure you have a PS2 BIOS, specifically the one named "SCPH1001". That is required. Once you install the emulator and run it, do the following:

1. Go to Config -> Emulation Settings -> Speedhacks and make sure that "MTVU (Multi-Threaded microVU1)" is checked. This makes sure that PCSX2 uses all your cores to get the maximum speed from your CPU.
2. Go to Config -> Video(GS) -> Plugin settings, under "Original PS2 Resolution" uncheck "Native" and select 2x Native from the dropdown menu underneath. This increases the resolution of the games, so they look better on your screen. If the game runs too slow, go back and check the "Native" box you unchecked. It will make the games run at their original resolution, which will cause them to look ugly if you play in full screen so you should play in a window.

That's the most important info you need to get the games running. Make sure you download the newest version of PCSX2 (1.2.1) from the official site). If you need step-by-step help installing or customizing, feel free to message me.

This here will give you a lot of information, and links to everything you need.

And this site will give you the Kingdom Hearts II BIOS as well.

Of course, it's a whole load easier to just buy it and a PS2, but, that's up to you.
Oh, one last thing! If you want to play properly you might want to look into getting a USB PS2 controller to plug into the computer. Here's a link to one:

Here's one that's not too expensive.

How do I play Kingdom Hearts for Xbox 360?

You can’t.Your best bet is going to be to get a PS4/Xbox 1. If you want to play all the games released so far, buy 1.5+2.5 re:mix [1]as well as 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue [2] (ps4 only). If your super dedicated to Xbox, you will have to wait for kingdom hearts 3 [3] to be released sometime in 2018, most likely they will include some sort of prologue part that will cover all the previous games main plot points.Footnotes[1] https://www.amazon.com/Kingdom-H...[2] Amazon.com: Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue - PlayStation 4: Square Enix LLC: Video Games[3] Amazon.com: Kingdom Hearts III - PlayStation 4: Video Games

How can i edit my kingdom hearts 2 saves on my pc?

There is indeed a way. If you are using an emulator, you could either download a new hacked save from somewhere like GameFAQ's and import it onto your virtual memory card located in /Program Files/PCSX2/memcards or you could find some action replay or codebreaker codes for it and run that through the emulator, it all depends which one you are using.
Just type Action Replay In PCSX2 into Google and you'll find it.
The guys on the forum at NGEMU had the same problem, look on there. thats where i learned how to do it. If you would like step by step instructions. Please email me at diehardrepofan@hotmail.co.uk
I hope you find what you're looking for.

Is there a PC version of Kingdom Hearts?

There was a Kingdom Hearts PC game. It was called Kingdom Hearts χ (chi) and took place before the Keyblade War.Kingdom Hearts χ is set before the legendary Keyblade War, a conflict sparked over disputes between Keyblade wielders over the light that created the world, triggering a calamity that created the world of Kingdom Hearts as seen in the first game in the series.Prior to the war, an unnamed Keyblade Master bestows a book called the Book of Prophecies to five of his six apprentices before disappearing. The book has the ability to predict and even manifest objects and people from the future. The five apprentices learn of a prophecy foretelling the world's destruction. In order to prevent this, each of the apprentices uses the book to manifest powerful warriors from the future as the Fragments. Each eventually begins hoarding pieces of light, called Lux, from the monsters known as Heartless, and each creates their own "Union" themed around their individual animal icon: Ursus, Anguis, Unicornus, Leopardus, and Vulpeus. The player character, a newly awakened Keyblade wielder, chooses to support one of the Unions and works to ensure the chosen faction's supremacy.Sadly, On April 6, 2016, it was announced that Kingdom Hearts χ for PC was to be terminated on September 01, 2016.

I've never played Kingdom Hearts before, but now I want to. However, I don't have a PS2, and they're not being made anymore. What should I do?

How different is it to play Kingdom Hearts on a PC?

You mean on an emulator, right? It's not that different; if you have a controller that looks like a DualShock (or, you know, a DualShock controller), and a big enough monitor or TV screen, it's basically the same experience, arguably even better because emulators can usually upscale resolution and apply graphical filters.
