My mouse keeps getting stuck on my laptop?

Go to My Computer>right click it>properties>Device manager. Now go to your mouse in the hardware list check for updates for that driver. If that does not work update windows or mac from there site. If that does not work shutdown the pc or mac safely unplug the laptop flip it upside down and remove the battery wait about 5 minutes. This will reset the ram and resets the computer all together. If none of the above work take it to a service technician or buy a new mouse. Good Luck.

My laptops cursor wont move! :(?

Maybe you accidentally lock it.
In laptop, usually, there is a feature to lock the touchpad using keyboard keys combination.
The keys combination is different in each laptop, some using Fn + F7, others using Fn + F9

Take a look on your laptop documentation to find out what combination keys for your laptop.

If unlocking the touchpad does not work, try reinstalling the driver for the touchpad. It easily can be found on the CD came with the laptop package or you can download it from the manufacturer website.

HP laptop mouse not working?

If you can, plug in a usb mouse to allow functionality. Sounds like there might be either bits of dirt or something under the touchpad, which is causing it to be stuck. Which would require opening the case and cleaning it. Do not do this if you don't know what you're doing, and if under warrant, will void it!! It can also be a driver problem, download latest drivers for your laptop from the manufacturer. If doesn't work, then dirt or hardware failure of the touchpad.

Otherwise, touchpad failure, which would require sending it in for repairs, which can sometimes be expensive as laptop components aren't cheap to repair due to miniaturization and the way things are more designed these days for use and toss philosophy than use, repair and keep using until finally dies of old age.

If you have a can of compressed air, turn the system off (press the windows button or ctrl+esc keys to bring up the windows menu, then arrow keys to shutdown). Unplug, let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then, use the compressed air can, in SHORT CONTROLLED bursts (about half to 1 full second at most) to spray air into air vents close to the touch pad, and also around the fans/cpu to clear out any dust, hair and debris. Do not hold the air or keep spraying the same area more than twice at a time as the cold air can damage components if held on them for too long. When done spraying, let system sit for another 5 minutes, plug back in and boot up, see if touchpad works any better.

My mouse gets stuck and it won't move?

sorry i couldn't help enough

My cursor on my laptop won't move. How can I fix this?

You probably accidentally locked it. Look on your laptop's keyboard for a picture that looks like your mouse trackpad. Usually you hit the Function (Fn) key and that button to lock or unlock it. On some laptops, there is a button right above the trackpad to lock or unlock it.

My laptop's cursor is not working when connected to the charger. How can I solve this problem?

Thanks for the request. You should indicate whether it is your touchpad mouse or a USB or Bluetooth mouse. If it is your touchpad, you need to plug in a USB mouse and see if that works, if it does, it means that you could possibly have power leakage in your case, or you motherboard is heating up.If a USB mouse does not work, based on the age of your laptop, you should have the power system checked as power is leaking and interfering with the isolated system. You could strip it and check for a loose wire.Hope this helps.
