Laptop Graphics Issue. Choppy Game Graphics.

My graphics for WoW are choppy?

WoW has many graphics settings. You'll have to adjust your settings and optimize them for your hardware. I believe this happens automatically when you install WoW based on WoW's recommendation after reviewing your hardware. With a 5 year old laptop though, I don't think the graphics will be able to improve that much.

Another important point to note. A 5 year old laptop probably has an integrated graphics card (basically meaning it is not as powerful as a standalone graphics card). Because of this, you also need to watch that you don't overheat your computer. If your graphics card is integrated, you could burn out your motherboard.

What make games lag on Laptop/PC?

Suppose you want to make a vegetable sandwich the key elements required would be fresh bread , fresh veggies of different kind, etc. The sandwich won't taste as expected if any of those things are of interior quality. In the same manner for running games smoothly on your PC/Laptop there are some minimum requirements of RAM, PROCESSOR and Graphics Card. Whenever you purchase a game there are some minimum requirements specified with it see if your system meets those minimum requirements if yes then you can play the game smoothly or else it will lag.For technical part: The graphics in the game are loaded dynamically as and when you make movement in the game. If you have a high graphic card and ram it will be loaded quickly and you will see no lag else you will see the lag.

Why isn't GTA IV graphics working on my laptop?

GTA 4 Minimum System Requirements
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz or equivalent AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz

Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900 or 256MB ATI X1900
Hard Disk Space: 16GB free
Operating System: Windows XP SP3 or Windows Vista SP1

GTA 4 Recommended System Requirements
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz or equivalent AMD Phenom X3 2.1GHz
Memory/RAM: 2.5 GB for XP or Vista
Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 or 512MB ATI 3870

If afraid your video ram is not quite enough.

I have lag issues running Hydrophobia on Steam with my laptop.?

I have a Dell L502X laptop. Here's the specs.

RAM: 6GB
Processor: 2.53 Quad-core (I think)
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GT 525M
Screen: 15R
OS: Windows 7 Home
Audio: Realtek Hi-Def Audio

Even at low graphics settings I have a lag in parts where there's a lot of water. I've NEVER been able to slow this laptop down until now. It's ran TF2 and Flight Simulator X with high graphic settings. Help?

My laptop has high specs but it still lags in every game. How do I fix this?

Thanks for A2A.The truth is that you can't expect great performance on a budget laptop in comparison with performances of desktops available out there. However, trying these tweaks, you can maximize your gaming performance:Always keep your drivers up-to-date. In this case, go to Nvidia's official page to download the latest driver. Never use third party drivers. In Windows control panal, change power mode from balanced to high performance mode both in battery & plugged in mode. Use this same methodology in Nvidia control panal. While gaming, avoid using minimized or hidden applications running. Use task manager to kill those unwanted apps. Now let me unveil the most effective tick to increase FPS in gaming. Always disable anti-alising (MSAA, TXAA, FXAA, SSAA etc.), vertical synchronization, ambient occlusion (SSAO, HBAO etc.) and lower the anisotropic filtering to 2x or 4x or just disable it. Sometimes, you can lower the resolution to get huge FPS boost. Believe me this trick gonna make your laptop run every game till this date in playable frames. You may use game boosters like Razer Cortex etc. in order to get 2% to 5% increase in performance.

About Graphic Card !!!?

I'm personally using a laptop which supports integrated graphics.
The Problem is :
I am launching an online game ( Forsaken World ) with an integrated graphic. The game runs well but its a little bit lag. So, I switched the integrated graphic to another graphic card , NVIdia Geforce GT 525m. ( NVidia Optimus ) which gives my laptop better performance, but the game will not launch as the integrated graphic does.
Do you guys have any solution or I can only run this game with integrated graphic ?

Why do some games lag on laptops with Nvidia Geforce, 8 GB RAM, 4th Gen i7 and a 2 GB graphics card?

To start, some of that is really vague. I hate when people generalize to i7, i5, i3, Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5, Ryzen 3, etc. because the specifics matter. Within those areas, you can have MASSIVE changes in specs; and while the architecture might be the same, the specifics still matter. That said, most any 4th Gen i7 is going to be fine. With that out of the way, 8 GB of RAM is actually starting to get outdated, and is also possibly DDR3 ram, which runs much slower than DDR4 RAM. For games like PUBG, I wouldn’t recommend playing with under 16 GB of any RAM, but ideally DDR4.As for the processor, it could have faulty cooling. The way that processors work is that they can run at faster speeds when they have better cooling. Usually this is done through overclocking, but it could be working the other way around if you have bad cooling in your computer. In other words, it might not actually be reaching it’s full potential, because it is overheating. This is one reason why water-coolers are so nice to have when it comes to gaming. When it comes to Nvidia Geforce, that is probably the most broad statement here. For instance, the Nvidia Geforce 1080ti is going to perform about 3 times better than a Nvidia Geforce 1050, based on PassMark video card benchmarks, found here. That said, even if you have a 1050, it should be able to run most games fine. But again, faulty cooling can slow down your graphics card similarly to your processor, especially if it is over long periods of time.I hope this helps!

My laptop (satellite a205) is running games slow. Fix?

For running slow there are many causes:
Microsoft Registry Problems = Slow Computer!
Spyware/Adware
RAM
De-Fragmenting
Etc.

Manage your startup:
Open your Start menu -> Click Run -> In the command screen type "msconfig.exe" -> In the "system configuration utility", click either "service" or "startup" tab -> Uncheck all programs that your are no longer using.

De-Fragmenting
1. Right click of C Disk.
2. Click properties.
3. Click tools tab.
4. Click "Defragment now".
