League Of Legends Wont Let Me Sign In

My mom wont let me play League of Legends?

I am a 14 year old guy, turning 15 this july, and my mom wont let me play League of Legends anymore. she says that it's addictive and too violent and if I play it then ill turn into a monster. I started about august of 2012, and its january 2013. I have had no trouble limiting myself to 1-3 games a day. I used to play until I won a match before my mom limited me to 1 hour on the computer. I believe she did this because I used to spend most of my free time gaming/using it, after my homework was done and such. I have no interest in sports, people get hurt too much, and I'm a very weak individual physically. I have a few friends whose houses I could visit. I am getting okay grades in school (C+, B+, A- range), but I could be doing better. I have tried sitting down and talking with my mom about it, but she refuses to change her viewpoint! I bought a lot of "Upgrades" for the computer, and I'd like to use them. I installed an additional gigabyte of RAM, I bought a new video card with my own money, I suggested the sound-card, and installed it...not to mention I set up/installed windows on the darn thing in the first place! My point is, I feel like my mom isn't acting rationally, as though she's restricting me from playing out of spite. I understand if I sound spoiled, my family isn't very rich but they go out of their way to do nice things for me, and I don't understand why this is such a big deal. I'd like some advice as to how i can convince my mother to change her mind, or at least get her to let my play a little. I have a lot of "friends" on that game, and I feel like it'd be a shame to lose them. Also my dad is out of the picture, my family's divorced and my mom hates my dad. He's a pretty cool guy though, he said I could bring my stuff to his house and use his computer, but it's really clogged up, and it would take a while to bring it to the point where it could launch the game. I could use that as a last resort, but I would like to settle this issue with my mother if possible. Thank you!

My macbook wont let me open league of legends because the startup disc is full?

Okay, so lately my MacBook hasn't been letting me save my iMovies, etc. because my "startup disc is full." My Mac is constantly sending me messages saying, "clear out your startup disc, or lose memory." Anyways, I've tried some steps off Apple's "troubleshooting page" but they aren't working. I need to be able to open League Of Legends, but whenever I go to open it, it says it is "locked." So, I hit "unlock" and now, whenever I attempt to open the program, it doesn't open. Anyways, any suggestions are awesome. Thanks.

What caused you to quit League of Legends?

I’ve covered the main reasons to quit LOL in this post.1. Opportunity CostThe time and money wasted on playing League of Legends should be everyone’s primary reason why they should quit.If you played 1500 or 2000 hours within the span of 1 1/2 to 2 years, that is almost 1/5 of the time that you need in order to master one skill (based on 10,000 rule by Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers book). That master of skill eventually can become a side-hustle project or a full-time business to give you enough money to retire early.2. Sole PlayingIf you’re in a group of friends where nobody plays or simply you’re playing alone, that’s one good reason to quit. The happiness and satisfaction from playing alone are incomparable to being with your friends (social needs).3. Technical concernsSlow internet connection and frequent updates to play LOL is a huge combo reason to quit. Plus the fact that you can’t play it offline compare to other video games.4. Toxic communityBeen bashed or trash-talk all the time? If you’re too sensitive or emotional, you can’t find this feeling anymore, and you would probably quit as soon as you can. No human being wants to be degraded in any manner (foul words, below-the-belt attack, etc..)If you want to learn how to quit league of legends, check out this post on stop internet addiction.

Should I quit playing League of Legends?

Are you getting decent grades? Do you really want to be fit? What do your parents think?First of all, do you think that playing League has significantly decreased your average grade level? Then yes, you should stop playing for a while, at least until your grades are back up.Think about this. If you quit League, will you really spend the time and effort to work out, or at least get fit? Do you want to get fit, or will it just be something freed up to do with the extra time on your hands? How much do you enjoy League? Do you play daily, and if so, how many games per day? Usually if you play that much, it means you enjoy it a lot, and you should question whether studying or spending more time with your parents or getting fit would be worth it. I’m not saying you shouldn’t do these things; I’m just saying it might not be worth quitting League over. And finally, do your parents approve of you playing League? Are you getting the grades they want you to, and do you think they’re feeling neglected by you in any way?Answer these questions, and you’ll know if quitting is something you think is worth it.

My server for League of Legends (LoL) is currently busy and won't let me login. What do I do? :(?

I'm trying to play League of Legends (LoL) and it won't let me login because the server is busy. Its been an hour already of trying to login and it's still busy! Sometimes it says "Login failed for an unknown reason. Please visit http://support.leagueoflegends.com for more information". I don't know what to do! I've tried changing my password, changing the region, made sure its not offline, I restarted my computer, and I even reinstalled the game. Nothing is working and it's not letting me play and its pissing me the hell off. What do I do? Someone help me :(

Should I allow my 12 year old son to play "League of legends"?

Yes. I don’t know why everyone is banging on about the toxicity, this will help him(or not… EDIT:Read the comments they have explained this point). But seriously no one is going to flame in a Beginners Bot match are they? I remember starting League when I was 11. Although all I did was play a couple of bot matches . My KDA was rubbish.I didn’t understand the roles I didn’t know what I was doing half the time. I built AP Ashe. Yes…I was that stupid, but no one hated on me. Why? Because they were doing the same thing or worse. But I stopped playing as I didn’t understand it.Then I started playing it again at the start of this year,I actually understood it and I managed to get a chest for most champs by getting S- or Higher, also I was placed in S4 BUT got demoted to B2. Welp.Well it's fine, the friend, which introduced the game to me,played through all the seasons and couldn’t get past silver. Yes I got flamed 50% of games but was praised the other half. Out of the whole of Season 7 I played a total of:(Sorry don’t want people I know IRL to know I am on Quora)Uhh I was thinking it would be more but meh.Penultimate point:League of Legends players 'more intelligent' than FPS players, implies new study - Esports News UK You read that right. Yes.Leauge doesn’t ******* lower peoples grade.Ok,remember at the start I said I played LoL then stopped. Guess what. My parents had nothing to do with it they didn’t know I even played the game. Allow your son some privacy and freedom. Nowadays parents are…different? I don’t even know where I am going with this point(I actually do know but I don’t want to continue as it will be very long) So…just let him play but supervise him for a few matches. In fact play it yourself. It isn’t a childish game. You might play it more than him.

Why can’t I spectate in League of Legends?

Normally you need at least one person in the game to be on your friendlist to spectate. If they are in a custom game there is an option that allows people to block spectate mode.I'd recommend just using op.gg and typing in the summoners name and then watching the replay.
