Help in history!?!?! (World War II and I) Few questions i need answering please...!?

WW1 happened because of the expanding imperialist countries. Major countries like France, Austria-Hungary, and England. They all wanted more land and resources to become even more powerful.

The Nazi party is the National Socialist Party. They believed in a strong government and promised to turn Germany back into a world power.

Communists believe in a form of government called communism. Communism has the idea of equality for all and ownership for all. While this idea sounds great on paper, it will never work because of people's greed.

The French and British created the Treaty of Versailles. It was a harsh treaty that forced the Germans to pay reparations to Great Britain and France.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

WHY DID CHARLES DARWIN WANTED TO BE A SCIENTISt?

Actually, Charles Darwin never wanted to be a scientist. His life-long dream was to be a prima ballerina, but he wasn't adapted to such an environment (his toes wouldn't fit into those wooden torture chambers), so had to adapt from an unfavorable environment to a more favorable one, which in his case was science. This was evolutionarilly to his advantage, since he was able to father children and pass on his DNA to future generations (along with a couple of ratty stretched out tutus).

I need help writing DBQ's and other essays faster for AP World History?

I took AP World back in my Freshman year of high school. I got a 4 on the AP test. It's hard to explain from my point of view because I have a photographic memory which helped me retain the historic events. When writing DBQ's, don't think of them as DBQ's; It's just a persuasive essay, like English Class. When you get into higher English Classes and Psychology classes, you have to cite your facts. That's all you have to do for DBQ's. Unlike English essays, however, don't try to "fluff" it up with nice big words and "b.s". AP readers will sometimes see "b.s" in an essay and just stop reading it. So make sure you stick to your topic and keep it factual, no "fluff". As far as thesis statements... they should sum up your essay in 1 sentence. For DBQ's in particular, use some of the question in your thesis. For example, "The period between 1350 and 1750 was marked by an increase in opennes of foreign ideas, culture, and peoples because of the new alliances between foreign countries, mixing of religions between countries in Europe/Middle East, and the mixing of people during this era between different countries and races." Obviously you will put more thought into your thesis and it should be a question instead of a "validating a statement" kind of DBQ. I hope I answered your questions, at least with the DBQ. Compare and Contrast is pretty self explanatory, and Continuity and Time is just how things change and stay the same over time. The DBQ is the most important essay out of all 3 on the AP Test. Also, if you think you can skip something in your book because "there's no way it'll be on the AP test, DON'T! My DBQ topic was on a topic that was talked about for a half of a page on a cultural page.

What is important about Ayatullah Ruhollah Khomeini?

Ayatolla Khomeini was the King of Iran from 1957-1968
He and his followers took over Iran in 1950
He was the ruler from 1957-1968 but worked in high government positions from 1950-1970
He had no known nicknames.
The five key things are...
1.Staged a coup and took over Iran.
2.Abolished serfism in Iran.
3.Made Iran a Muslim nation.
4.Changed draft laws so that all men 18-30 had a mandatory four year military service.
5.Improved Iran's economy and foreign policy greatly.
There are many more, but there are 5
He died in 1974 when a crazed follower shot him in the head during a rally.
He is remembered for being a great Iranian leader and putting Iran back in touch with the USA and setting it's feet on stable ground in the global community.
People never worshipped him....he was much too modest.

Childsupport????

Depending in which state you live, the court will go buy their guidelines...it doesn't matter whether he takes her 2 days of the week or every single day...what matters is how much he makes and what percentage of that take home pay will be allocated to child support. The child care should ideally be paid from the child support unless you and your husband come to some agreement over that. The court will probably not make him pay extra just to cover the child care.

I recommend that you see an attorney...it may seem expensive now, but will save you a ton of money and headaches in the future...good luck!
