I presume you are talking about USA. America was founded on freedom, which includes freedom of religion. Its morally and illegal to use someones race, sex, creed for jobs, housing etc.. That said 1/3 of Americans have a FBI file on them. I know I have one, and I haven't threaten anyone, or brought attention to myself. I would not be surprised if there is such a record, but not available for citizens use. I was addicted to herion 20 years ago for about 3 years. I'm still treated as actively addicted . It has caused me more grief than anything else. I've looked down at, all the time. My neighbor of 8yrs. I told I HAD a problem with drugs years ago. I went to visit, and was told”Sorry, but I can't let you in.”You should never label someone. People change religion a lot, maybe they hate their country of birth, etc.. We need less so called records , and take people as they are. The Amish emigrated here 300 yrs ago, for freedon of religion,and still live (almost) they way the did 300 yrs ago. We are already ‘coded’, what do you think your Social Security number is? I know the first digit tells in what state you where born. I know it has other information, but I forgot. Samething with your drivers license number, again I forget specifics, but I was upset with all the information on that number. Since 911,all these restrictions almost make you obtain a Dr, even for identification only. A good friend had 1 valuim in a pill holder, they had a current prescription, but it was in the wrong container, was found guilty of a 3 degree felony. I'm sure if they had the money for a good lawyer they would have been found innocent. Although most areas the police won not even bother with a plain, stupid law. Even after they completed their sentence if found guilty,ALL felons have their DNA on file, even if you completely finished your sentence, and of course the Fine,they had to go back and have DNA collected, or go to jail until you do. My friend lost his job over a label.

Even if corners were cut, Iran-Contra was a brilliant scheme. There is no possibility that anyone in any Democratic administration would have gone to such lengths to fund anti-Communist forces. When Democrats scheme from the White House, it's to cover up the President's affair with an intern. When Republicans scheme, it's to support embattled anti-Communist freedom fighters sold out by the Democrats!

My answer is based on working with Democratic politicians going back some 50 years. In those years I also was fortunate enough to meet and befriend several Republican office holders and strategists.A real politician is at heart a pragmatist. Politicians know that their chances of survival depend on what the public mood is. All politicians will tell you they have principles, whether liberal or conservative. But all of them are willing to bend or ignore those principles for the public good and for their own political well-being.Mike Pence is a politician. I may not agree with 90% of his beliefs, but I have seen one very important thing which sets him apart from Trump. He’s willing to abandon his beliefs in the face of public pressure. Trump isn’t.When Pence pushed for and got that draconian “religious freedom” bill in Indiana, the bill that opened the way for blanket discrimination against the LGBTQ community, before the ink was dry, businesses, celebrities, sports groups, entertainers and common people unleashed a tidal wave of condemnation. State and city governments forbade their employees from traveling to Indiana on business. Concerts and plays were cancelled. Businesses threatened to leave the state. Conventions were cancelled. Pence and the GOP legislature were caught off guard. So the man who had not long before declared “I am a Christian first. . .” immediately ordered the legislature to amend the language to be non-exclusionary. In short order, a new bill was presented Pence, who signed it. Less than 10 days had passed from the original bill’s signing to the new bill’s signing. In that 10 days, Pence’s “Christian-first” beliefs went out the window and he bowed to public pressure. That is pragmatism and that is what real politicians do.Pence has proven to be a politician first, a politician who understands what it means to be a politician. Trump has no such background, instead being an autocrat who is accustomed to getting his way, no matter who gets hurt or what the consequences are. He won’t last long. Pence, while in my opinion is flawed, will be a much saner, safer President.

When Michelle Obama was on the UIC hospital board, she made $120,000 a year. While her husband was running for the Senate, the hospital donated thousands to his campaign. After her husband was elected to the Senate, she was given a raise which brought her salary up to $317,000 a year. (She only worked 20 hrs a week) Barack made sure the hospital got a huge earmark.
