Life Style To Happiness

Will gay lifestyle truly lead to happiness?

My mom and dad knows I'm gay and they have been sweet compassionate and kind to me. However they keep reminding me that Gay lifestyle often leads to feeling of emptiness and sadness and the happiness in it is just brief and superficial. In this 4th year of my anniversary being out, i must say their words are coming true. I feel empty, sad and alone. Friends are superficial, boyfriends are superficial too. I would like to hear from
older people if they have been truly happy being gay. And if they can tell
me whAt lead to their happiness. i would like to give myself being gay until I'm 30 to see if i will truly find happiness being gay. I was happier when I was not out, my straight friends are mostly sincere. If not then maybe My moms Idea to For me to marry a girl will sound like a good plan. and have family instead of growing up alone getting old and by myself, being creepy on grindr or any gay apps. :( somebody give me advice pls. I kinda need it at the moment.

What matters most: life's happiness or happiness of life?

Neither. It’s the happiness from within.True happiness doesn’t come from material things or money. It comes from deeper fulfillment and by being content from within.First let me explain why a lifestyle based off of money and material things doesn’t bring us happiness. If you rely on money for your happiness, then you fall into an endless cycle of frustration. What cycle? The cycle of thinking “I’ll be happy if I get X,” then getting X, not being satisfied, then thinking “I’ll be happy if I get Y,” then getting Y, and then keeping on with that same cycle of frustration. Unfortunately this is what we’ve been led to believe - that chasing after money and after temporary things will bring us fulfillment. But it doesn’t. In America people are more depressed and anxious than ever, even though we have so much. That’s because the more you have, the more you want, and the harder it is to find true happiness and peace of mind. Then what does happiness look like if it doesn’t involve material things?Have you ever searched all over the place for something, only to realize that you’ve had it with you all along. Happiness is like that. Rather than trying to fulfill every desire that comes to our minds, we can instead be content with what we currently have. Trying to fulfill each and every desire we have is an endless process that only leads to frustration because the more we try to satisfy our desires, the more desires we end up having. And we can never be happy if we are always in a state of desiring something because as long as we desire something, we can never achieve peace in the current moment. The way to achieve this state of contentment is through spirituality. There’s a reason every major culture has had a component of spirituality to it. We’re spiritual beings at our core. Through spirituality, we reconnect to our original source (The Supreme, God, Allah, Jehovah, Krishna, etc.). By doing so, we begin to experience everlasting, ever-increasing bliss. Through this bliss we can become fully happy and content. We become unconditionally happy meaning that we’re happy all the time despite other circumstances in our life. You won’t have to search out for happiness anymore. You’ll always have it with you instead.Look how happy he is. Proof that you don’t need much to be happy. If you want to do some more reading on this topic, I’d recommend this article or this reading list. Good luck with your search for happiness. Is lifestyle and happiness levels in the U.S. really that inferior compared to Canada?

I wouldn’t make any assumptions as to the happiness level in either country. When you have a relatively uniform society with an imaginary border drawn by politicians I doubt you’d find a lot of difference. I think Canada treats it’s poor better, but not enough better that they are happy because of it. And look at Canada’s northern native communities and you’ll see some real third world poverty. So the answer to that is, it depends on personal circumstances. There are political differences, but even G.W. Bush had a friendly introduction to one of our more socialist premiers. You don’t have to be unhappy because you don’t agree with the politics of your leaders. Roger Miller got it right. “You can be happy if you’ve a mind to.”However, as a person who believes in gun control, universal medicare, equal opportunity to all meaning free higher education for people of all income levels, I’m a person would happily pay and extra $200-$300 year in taxes to support those on welfare and the homeless. A person like me is probably happier in Canada. Canada doesn’t do all those things, so I’m while I might be happier in Canada, it doesn’t mean I’m happy all the time. But those things really don’t affect my life much. People who don’t believe in those things might be extremely unhappy in Canada. And to live in Canada, you have to be able to play in the snow and ice. I’m far from convinced every American would be happier living in Canada. And I’m also not convinced anyone from Florida would be happy living in Minnesota. It’s one of those things I probably wouldn’t feel safe taking a position on.These general conclusions are rarely applicable in individual cases.

Is Happiness the Most Important Thing In Life?

I beleive so. If you are happy, then you tend to find happiness in every situation. Rather if you are not happy, you tend to find the negative in any situation. If you are happy, you draw more positive things to yourself, because you are letting off positive vibes. Of course, there are many other important things to life, but overall, if you are happy, you will be guaranteed a fullfilling life. You will constantly be drawing in the things that bring you happiness, and moving away from the things that don't. No matter what your lifestyle, if you are happy, your life will be fullfilling and successful. Because if you do something that goes against what will make your life unsuccessful or unfulfilling, you will be quick to make a change in the situation, to bring it positive again to keep this state of happiness. You must first be happy to create a life of happiness.

Do you think people that live a tribal lifestyle are happier than civilized society?

The answer is like saying "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder"
Whats suits One, doesnt suit another.
IF U came from what we call now "civilised" society and went to live for many years into a tribal
environment, U would need to have a strong nature.
On the reverse..the Tribal person may well be "all at sea" in our "civilised" society
IF U are referring to our "civilised" society as being ONE that has all the mod-cons..then thats understandable..IF u were not..then we ALL need to LOOK and THINK about our "civilised" society, with its Iraq/Iran/Afhgan..Israel/Palest..problem... ..that cause many of us "civilised" people to live a very short life..OR to at least experience Pain and misery.

Lets look at the Positiveness of Tribal people..
They dont have a Mortgage or have headaches meeting Rental payment each week.(whatever)
They dont have to Budget..cut the Expenses somewhere..or deny the kids some "luxury"
They dont have to fret about the money needed for school uniforms.school fees etc.
They dont have to worry about Govt./Council rates/Taxes/Bank charges etc.
They dont have to worry about How or Who will pay for the Burial fees.
They dont have to worry about Cyclones/Hurricances/Tyhpoons etc. Earthquakes/Tsumanis.
They dont need to find the monies for Electricity and telephone fees..or to have the money to buy a PC so that U can answer questions such as this one.
They dont have to worry about their Life when boarding a Plane to travel overseas for fearing of a terrorism attack.

SO..with that "positiveness" for Tribal people..as against what "positiveness??" we in civilised society have..
U answer your own question
What do U think??
