Lincoln Nebraska Rocks And Minerals

Why is Nebraska boring?

Well I think Nebraska is just a place where there isn't much to do. Of course, you could say that about a lot of other states, too.

Where can i find scanner frequiencies for Arkansas?

Is Colorado considered a popular state?

No. Nobody likes it. Don’t come here. Everybody is poor and mean and stoned and all the trees and animals are dead. Nobody comes here anymore because it is too crowded. Texas and Kansas and Nebraska are all way better: just stop there. The air here is thin, the beer is made from water bears pee in, and the mountains are just a bunch of rocks ready to fall on your car. If the elk don’t gore you and the moose don’t kick you then the mountain lions will hunt you down. Liberals hate Colorado Springs. Conservatives can’t stand Boulder. We don’t even like each other very much. Try Iowa instead, or Oklahoma. Utah is weirder, Wyoming is sparser, New Mexico is more Hispanic, and Arizona has far better ruins. All the toilets in Colorado are unisex and outdoors. Really, just cross it off your list and see North Dakota twice. We’ll be glad you did.

Does the NRA ever donate money to victims?

I can’t be absolutely positive, but I don’t believe the NRA has donated association funds to victims. NRA officials and members may have made personal donations, but that would not be considered an official NRA donation. In fairness, I don’t recall any of the major gun control groups making donations to victims, either. Michael Bloomberg, the primary funding source for Everytown for Gun Safety, may have made personal donations but I don’t have any information about them. Both groups may offer or arrange services for victims, such as legal help for lawsuits. Some law firms do offer pro bono services for them. The anger over the NRA’s failure to donate money is similar to the anger over the NRA’s “failure” to take ownership for mass shootings. There are two valid objections to that anger.First, why would the NRA be expected to donate money to victims or need to feel at all responsible? The NRA did not encourage or enable a shooter to commit their crimes. One might as well expect the American Automobile Association to accept responsibility for James Fields’ driving his car into a crowd in Charlottesville or for Lakeisha Holloway repeated running her car onto a crowded sidewalk in Las Vegas.Second, if the NRA gave money to one group of victims, it would be expected to provide funds for all groups of victims. For example, if the NRA donated to victims of the Sutherland Springs shootings, perhaps in recognition of NRA member Stephen Williford’s acts in stopping Devin Kelley’s spree, there would be an uproar because the NRA didn’t donate to victims of every mass shooting and killing spree dating back to 1871, when the NRA was founded. The NRA knows full well that those who despise it are going to rail against everything it does. For example, the NRA Foundation, which has no political stance at all, gave a $10,000 grant to the JROTC program at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. The money was used to refurbish the school’s air rifle range and purchase new equipment. Since Nikolas Cruz was a member of the JROTC rifle team, the media and social media did its best to persuade people that the NRA Foundation had, in essence, provided the grant specifically to enable Cruz to be a better killer. This way lies madness. The same madness that expects the NRA to give money to victims or to take responsibility for mass shootings.

How long does it take to deliver a piece of regular mail from New Jersey to Virginia?

You can look up the USPS’s service standards (the goals they set for delivery speeds) for a particular originating ZIP with this tool. Enter the ZIP code’s three-digit prefix and you’ll see a color-coded map for how long it should take to go anywhere in the country. Two to three days seems correct for NJ to VA.Note that these are not guarantees, just what you can expect.

Do both plants and animals have souls? If so, do they ascend to heaven?

Everything is alive in universe, everything has some level of awareness, even an atom has some level of awareness even if very low but it still has, and a rock much more so. So imagine that plants which are much more complex than minerals, crystals and rocks, have a significantly higher level of awareness. The rules of embodiment, experimenting and then “death” (discarding the body a soul used) whether for a rock, plant or human, are the same everywhere. The difference of vibration of each level goes with the level of complexity of each kingdom, 1) mineral kingdom - 1st dimension vibration, lowest complexity 2) plant kingdom - 2nd dimension vibration, higher complexity, 3) animal (including humans) kingdom - 3rd dimension vibration, highest complexity as far as humanity knows now.So everything has a “soul” it’s a just a question of how high or how low it is. There are a number of people along history and also now that connected with animal souls and also with plants souls, and in more rare cases even with rocks and crystals. One might be born with that gift but it can be also cultivated, but you need to put quite some effort in it.I don’t know what “heaven” means to you, but souls of minerals, plants and animals after “death” reunite with their “soul-group” in higher dimensions.

How do we find the age of fossils with the help of sedimentary layers?

StratigraphyMost fossils are found in sedimentary rocks deposited in layers. Where the rocks are not strongly folded or tilted it is possible to work out the order in which the layers were formed. The oldest rocks and fossils are at the bottom and the youngest are on top.BiostratigraphyScientists are able to recognize fossils that are characteristic of various rock layers. With this knowledge, they can place the fossils into detailed chronological sequences. These known sequences can be compared with the layers of rock and fossils uncovered at other sites to provide relative dating. Some fossils are particularly useful for these comparisons as they show distinct changes over time.Palaeomagnetic stratigraphyThis method of dating is based on the changes in the direction of the Earth’s magnetic field. Today this field is centred on magnetic north. Prior to 780,000 years ago it was centred near the South Pole and before that it was centred north and so on. These changes in direction are known as reversals. Scientists work out the direction of the Earth’s magnetic field in the past by looking for traces of iron-oxide minerals that are found in many rocks. Because iron oxide is magnetic, the minerals tend to be oriented in the direction of the Earth’s magnetic field at the time the rock was formed. This technique has established a known sequence of reversals from dated layers found all around the world. If a sequence of reversals is found at a particular site then it can be compared with this known sequence in order to establish an approximate date.https://australianmuseum.net.au/...
