Looking For A Female Tattoo Artist In Baltimore City That

My tattoo is three days old and it still feels warm, Why?

your tattoo will likely feel warm until the 4th or 5th day, this is completely normal! however, if it starts burning this could be a bad sign. it's warm because it's healing though - like when you get a piercing and there's a warm, swelling heat afterward. like i said, it will go away. don't worry if it starts peeling or itching either as this is also normal. but WHATEVER you do, DO NOT scratch it or pick it. the skin will fall off on its own as it heals! and if you feel you simply MUST scratch in some way, try slapping it lightly. but besides putting cream on it and cleaning it, i suggest you leave it alone as much as possible until about 2-3 weeks. good luck!

Are your tattoos meaningful?

I am from the great state of Maryland. I love my state.I am a huge fan of the Washington Redskins, Washington Capitals, Maryland University and Baltimore Orioles.I have tattoos of all of them. But my answer is easy.My most meaningful tattoo I have or will ever have in my entire fucking life is my Maryland Flag Tattoo:I got this tattoo permanently and proudly put on my chest wayy back in 2005. It was my first tattoo.I take my state with me wherever I go.It’s home. And always will be.PS: sorry for the hairy chest. Actually I’m not sorry. I’m a man. What’d you expect?PPS: Maryland has the best state flag in the entire fucking union. That’s not up for debate.

Need info on Don Swann Maryland Artist?

The University of Baltimore has a Don Swann Collection. My personal opinion is that it will take a while for his work to appreciate in value. Here is the info about the atrist and his family.

Don Swann, Sr.

The American artist, Don Swann, Sr., made his home in Baltimore, studied in Munich, Germany and Italy. He is known for his historic Americana, ships, trees, U.S. Navy and series of schools, colleges and Universities. His later subjects included many in color. His work has been advertised and exhibited in many cities in the United States and is one of the permanent collections of the: Metropolitan Museum, Mrs. John D. Rockefeller, Jr, Franklin D. Roosevelt, U.S. Naval Museum, J.P. Morgan, Congressional Library, and other prominent collectors and connoisseurs. The Smithsonian Institute acquired 33 original etchings for the Division of Graphic Arts. He died in 1954. After his death his son, Don Swann, Jr. has been publishing and signing his father's name to guarantee that the original etchings are being printed from the plates made by his father.

Rita Swann

Rita Swann was the wife of Don Swann, Sr. and mother of Don Swann, Jr. She graduated from the Maryland Institute at the top of her class. She became a prominent newspaper woman starting on the Baltimore Sun and then on the editorial staff with the Baltimore News American for twenty-five years.

Mrs. Swann did a series of famous race horses and famous breeds of dogs which were quite popular. She died in 1967. After her death her son also began reissuing her work and signed her name to guarantee they were printed from the plates made by his mother.

Don Swann, Jr.

Swann, Jr. was a graduate of Princeton University in Art and Archaeology, he attended the Maryland Institute and Johns Hopkins University and studied with his father for four years. Later he taught etching and lectured nationally. Author of Colonial and Historic Homes in Maryland, he completed over one hundred etchings of his own. He then carried on the Etchcrafters Art Guild which his father founded.
In 1975, his rendition of "The Mother Seton House" was accepted by the Vatican. His etchings are in the Cairo Museum Shop in Egypt, the Matinee Gallery in Nassau, the Heritage Gallery in Bermuda, and some 300 galleries in America. He was responsible for producing the etching of Nelson A. Rockerfeller

Which city is the best between Los Angeles and San Francisco?

Having lived about half my adult life in each, here's how you should look at this:Answering this question is like answer whether you prefer Brahms or Bieber; Zürich or Colombia; sushi or steak. It's like asking whether your ideal night out is a smelly beery dive bar, or a classy lounge with exquisite -- if perhaps overpriced -- cocktails. Whether homeless crackheads in absurdly expensive neighborhoods doesn't make you bat an eyelid, or whether you expect expensive neighborhoods to be safe enough never to lock your cars, let alone leave the roof open on a convertible. Whether you still like to play beer pong and smoke pot in a public park or sit in a quaint European cafe, and whether the hostess serving you at the cafe is a pretty, friendly, made-up girl in a cute outfit or whether it's some guy sporting a 3-foot long beard, several tattoos, and enough piercings to make a Spanish fighting bull think twice. Hipster or posh, then. The point is, asking which is "the best" comes down more to personality and personal tastes and preferences than anything else. Want hipster? SF. Want (the option for) more posh? LA. Want a place in which you can find both extremes, then LA wins hands down, if only by virtue of being far larger, and thus offering far more. For what it's worth, I love Brahms, but (inadvertently) found out I (embarrassingly?) like a few of The Bieb's songs too. (Go figure.) I am hopelessly in love with Zürich, and think it's urban perfection. I love a good pub with superbly delicious food and drink, while I stay away from dives like the plague. Beer pong, I've played but once in my life; I don't smoke; I love outdoor cafés; I don't want to spend $4K/month or more on rent yet still have to deal with crackheads sleeping in my doorway, yelling and screaming through the night; and worry about my wife or my parents being harassed; and, occasional exceptions aside, would prefer not to have my appetite stifled by a guy who's face is so ruined by piercings and droopy ears it makes my stomach lurch.PS. Answering anonymously because of the frightfully anti-LA / pro-SF crowd that seems to permeate the ether of Quora.

What are some must-dos in Muscat, Oman?

There are amazing beaches in Oman and so many places to go trekking on mountains. There are trails to explore. Jebel Shams and Jebel Akhdar are awesome places to see. You can go turtle watching in Sur or you can experience desert safari in Wahiba Sands. Long drives in Muscat on Sur road and on Barr Al Jissah road are awesome. The dolphin watching tour is also worth. Check out bestofoman.webs.com for more details on Oman. My favorites scenes/awesome views in Oman are as below - 1. Sultan Qaboos mosque from outside during night hours and from inside during day time.2. Wadi Daykah Dam3. Jebel Akhdar sunset4. Barr Al Jissah - just at the gates of the Hotel.5. Bandar Al Khairan.6. HM's palace in Muskat. 7. Corniche 8. Desserts of Wahiba Sands9. Beach view on entire Sur road 10. Royal Opera house and Parliament building
