Looking For A Good Name For A Character In My Book

What is a good character's name for my book?

Popular boys names in the late 1990s were names like Cody, Kyle, Austin, Tyler, Brandon, Zachary, Justin among the more traditional names like Christopher, Michael, Andrew, Michael, David.  Top name for boys those years was Michael, which could allow for lots of nicknames. The city is 70% Caucasian, so he'd be from a white family likely, but you'd be mistaken about "worker" family, it's a very expensive city to live, among the most expensive in the country so he'd be more upscale, more privileged - the median home prices are around $2million. His dad would probably be in the tech industry, medical or real estate. I'm betting dad's a realtor, that would allow for the kid to have more free time on his own. So, I'd name him something along the lines of Kyle Jeffords, or Christopher Sutton, Michael Bennett, Zachary Tyler. Just food for thought, since you've picked such a distinct geographic region, the name should fit.source demographic Los Altos, Californiasource names Top names of the 1990s

What is a good name for my character in my upcoming book?

Well Anastasia (I know Fifty Shades of Grey might ruin it) means rebirth and can be shortened to Ana, Annie, Stacy. I think this is a nice, cute name.Marcella (Marcy) means young warrior. If religion is involved you could use a biblical name like Mary, Eve or Magdalene (Maggie)Some names that mean power are: Althea, Audrey, Briana, Valencia, Rita, Valeria, Valerie and Matilda.Lastly, as the universe seems to be a big part of your story then you could use names inspired by space. There's Ariel, Astrid, Aurora, Belinda, Bianca, Celeste, Luna, Miranda, Pandora, Phoebe, Stella and loads more! The story sounds very good, hope this has been of some use. Have fun writing!

Sorry, that's all I can think of right now.... I hope I helped? Good luck with your story!

How do I name my book character?

Pick names you like. I name my characters after versions of my friends' names (for example, Katie became Kathy). I also just have some names that I like, so I use those.
If you want to incorporate name meanings into the names, I would suggest using a baby name site and typing in a certain trait that describes your character and using that name. A great site to do this is: http://www.parents.com/baby-names/

Hope this helps you with your names~

Looking for a cool names for my Comic Book characters?

With so little to go on, shoot for alliterations like Baxter Braunside, Slade Silver, or Jenna Jasper. Villains should have descriptive, catchy nicknames like Benny "Bones" McGee or Sara "Dawnbringer" Grey. Have fun and be original.

Good Last Names for Book Character?

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a list of last names that might be good for my book character. He is a boy, and his first name is Nick. I was thinking of Smith or something like that, but I thought that was too common. Do you guys know any last names that might be good for a guy named Nick? I'm just looking for ideas. Thanks everyone.
