Looking For Brownsville Oregon Tickets

What is it like living in Corvallis, Oregon?

LOLl, Corvallis is definitely NOT "dry"!

It is a university town, and it has a wonderful, quiet, ambience and lovely location along a river.

I lived 20 miles from Corvallis for nearly 25 years. It has a great library, many parks, and a small town atmosphere. Shopping is limited, but improving ... most people go to Albany 10 miles away, or Eugene, about a 45 minute drive south, for department stores. It has a wonderful grocery store called Winco with the best prices around, though, and there is a Costco in Albany.

Especially if you have a family, you will probably find the laid back pace of life and clean air a big plus!

Why does albany, oregon stink?

Albany has a local reputation for an intermittent "Smell," which actually comes from a Weyerhaeuser paper mill in nearby Millersburg.

How long does it take regular mail to come from Austin, TX to Nacogdoches, TX?

Here is the website you can look it up on:United States Postal Service

How long does it take for regular mail to send from Texas to Illinois on an average schedule?

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers a map for Priority Mail delivery service: "Priority Mail Delivery Map" Let's take Austin, Texas, noted on the map in the darker blue, as our origin. You can see that in the vicinity of Austin, you can count on one-day delivery for priority mail. To most urban and otherwise populated areas around the country, it's two days. To rural areas around the country, it's three days. From Austin to Chicago or the St. Louis area, it could be two days. For a more rural part of Illinois, it could be three.Just click the link above to enter your origin address. Now, this is all for "Priority Mail."Regular first-class mail looks like this: "United States Postal Service: Service Standards Map"To basically anywhere in Illinois from Texas, you're looking at three days.Which then brings up the interesting point of whether it's worth it to pay more for Priority Mail. It should also be noted that these maps aren't guarantees, and they aren't from an omniscient crystal ball. They're estimates. But three days is probably a pretty strong median delivery duration.

Anyone know of any nude beaches in or around corvallis oregon?

I used to go to a nude beach just south of Corvallis on the Willamette river. I wish I could give you exact directions but it has been a few years since I was there. I can tell you that it's south of town and it is significantly 'outside' of town. Like it's definitely not near the park at the end of Goodnight Street off of South 3rd. It was more like out by Airport Road. If it's still there surely someone knows where it's at...

Eugene on the other hand most definitely does have a VERY nice nude beach easily accessible as it is right in town. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. (no I mean the great view up river to the south... B) You will find the place at the intersection of 30th Ave. , Franklin Blvd. and Seavy Loop (Interstate 5 and HiWay 58 also cross in basically the same place) Anyway, there's a gas station on Franklin Blvd. and Seavy Loop runs east under the train trestle, about 200 feet down Seavy Loop is 'Bring Recycling'. Just past there is a little graveled area where (in the hot weather) there's usually quite a few vehicles. There you'll find the trail down to the river, it's not far.. I'm thinking I'll go down there tomorrow.

BTW, I was hoping someone here would tell ME where some nude beaches are... B)

Oh, also there are other places that people swim and sunbathe nude in the hills around here. The Cougar Hot Springs is by far the most popular (up the McKenzie River...) A spot that USED to be great was 'Hobbit Hill' which is on the coast just north of Florence, drive north from Florence and you'll go around a significant mountain, as you finally come around it you'll find a very STRAIGHT stretch of highway. There's a place to park on the right just a little way down the straight stretch (if you come to the camp grounds you went WAY to far) cross the road (on foot, duh) and you'll find a trail down to the beach. (it may not be a nude beach any more cause the 'man' didn't dig it... ;( ) Hope that helps. See ya at the Oregon Country Fair... (I've been to like 32 of em... and I'm still breathing, huh? go figure...)

Who are some authors that are known for writing in a variety of different genres or to a variety of different audiences?

My favorite author in this ‘genre-less’ category, who wrote for many different audiences, was the great Macdonald Harris (pen name of Don Heiney). He wrote 19 novels across many different areas, including his National Book Award nomination “The Balloonist,” which is magnificent. The genre route is a highly lucrative trap for writers who gain success in a specific genre and then cannot write outside it, a bit like musicians or musical groups who are asked by audiences to replicate ‘favorite hits,’ whether they want to or not. J.K. Rowling had to write under a pen name, Robert Galbraith, to escape her ‘Potter’ trap. Many other successful writers have done this, and if they are well connected to a major publishing house it is not a stretch.Don was a fabulist who never tried to work in fad areas. He wrote, very beautifully, about many different subjects across many subjects. I am appending below a list of his works.1961 Private Demons. Boston: Houghton Mifflin.1964 Mortal Leap. New York: W. W. Norton, 1964; London: Michael Joseph.1968 Trepleff. London: Victor Gollancz; New York: Holt, Rinehart & Winston, 1969.1972 They Sailed Alone (nonfiction). Boston: Houghton Mifflin.1973 Bull Fire. New York: Random House; London: Victor Gollancz.1976 The Balloonist. New York: Farrar Straus Giroux, London: Victor Gollancz, 1977.1977 Yukiko. New York: Farrar Straus Giroux, London: Gollancz, 1978; Cambridge: Galileo, 20131979 Pandora's Galley. New York: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich; London: Gollancz, 1980.1980 The Treasure of Sainte Foy. New York: Atheneum; London, Victor Gollancz.1981 Herma. New York: Atheneum, 1981; London: Jonathan Cape, 1983.1982 Screenplay. New York: Atheneum; London: Jonathan Cape, 1983.1984 Tenth. How long does it take for normal mail to reach another city in Washington from washington?

The mail between major places or places along major routes is remarkably quick and likely to be delivered in 1 or 2 days. Mail between small towns that are off the beaten path may be routed away and come back.I don’t know the details of how this item would travel, but let’s hypothesize two letters sent from Chelan. One goes to Spokane (150 miles) and the other to Stehekin (40 miles). I guarantee that there is faster service for the item to Spokane since that is a bigger city and maybe even a sorting center. Probably it’s delivered the next day. The letter to Stehekin at minimum goes to Wenatchee and comes back. It might even go to Spokane and then has to wind its way back to Chelan and eventually Stehekin. So “normal” mail from Bellingham to Pasco will rarely be more than a couple of days. What’s normal though? “Normal” mail from Endicott to Conconully could be most of a week even though the distance is far shorter.

How long does it take a package to arrive from California to Texas?

How long does it take a package to arrive from California to Texas? There are several factors and variables that contribute to answering this question.California is a big state as is Texas. If we simplify it and only consider major hub to major hub then it narrows down to a better accuracy. Also, which level of service, from their site the USPS estimation:Parcel post 2-8 daysMedia Mail 2-8 daysFirst Class 1-3 daysPriority Mail 1-3 daysPriority Mail Express 1-2 days or overnightAccording to a friend who is a Post-Mistress (she's old school), anything, especially packages, that is sent less than Priority will hit every sorting center between origination and destination. Priority goes from Main hub to Main hub.She offered this explanation after a friend sent me a large package parcel post from Cali and it took a MONTH to arrive. The box also looked like an elephant had sat on it. Thankfully, due to the friend's spectacular packing skills and liberal use of bubble-wrap, only one piece was damaged. In my experience in both shipping items and paying for shipping, do not use USPS if you need it to arrive right away. Their Priority and 'Express' do not guarantee arrival within the estimated time and they are usually more expensive than other over night or express services offered by UPS or FedEx. Side note: UPS and FedEx supposedly 'save' us shipping cost by using the local USPS hub to finish the last leg of their delivery on non-urgent shipping.Without specific details regarding origination and destination, there is no way to accurately say how many days, only estimate.
