How do people make friends on Steam?
You might have a nice time finding friends via giveaway sites such as SteamCompanion and http://www.steamgifts.com/. Both of these sites have forums where you can start a conversation with other community members. I originally found these sites when I was trying to give away extra copies of Steam games that I received in bundles, but now I've been using each for over a year and have made some great friends. You do not have to give away a game to be a part of these communities. I suggest reading the simple rules and guidelines listed on both websites before getting started.

To put it simply, no. Or yes? Well… a bit of both if you bend the rules a little.What you can do is log into their account and play the game that way. You can still have the game, all of your files (saves, mods, etc…) on your computer when not logged into their account but can’t actually play the game because of the way that steam games are authenticated. Even games you install on disk are now mostly registered through steam to check the ID of the account installing it.Steam allows for a great many account sessions from different computers at any given time, a lot like your Google account for instance. The main disadvantage being that if you both want to play the game, well, you can’t at the same time.Keep in mind that steam allows for many sessions to be logged into at any given time, but that doesn’t mean active sessions. For you to play Skyrim through their steam, you would have to logged into their account, while they weren’t using it. And obviously that’s a huge pain but it is the only way you can go about doing what you mentioned in the question. So really, if your friend is okay with you using their steam account, then it should work. I don’t see any reason why it won’t.

There is a thing called family sharing on steam, and all you need to do is:If your friend has bought the game, you have to log into his account using your computer. Once you did that, navigate to Settings, then find the Family tab and once youre there, you ll have to click the “Authorize this computer button” and then you will see a list of other users that have also logged in from that computer, make sure you check your account and just click Ok.It should look something like this:Now youre all set, everytime you log on to your steam account from that computer you ll see all the games your friend has.But theres another problem, you wont be able to create a new account(social club account - which you use to play GTA V). Steam Community is the one and only. Basically it's a store for digital copies of PC games. (probably the cheapest gaming market there is)You can be friends with other Steam members, and play games in CO-OP mode together with your steam friends. Nearly all games feature Steam achievements, unlocking which grants you all kinds of free stuff, like discount coupon codes for games, free wallpapers etc. There's a forum and disucssion threads for all the games in steam archives. There's plenty to say about Steam but the most important thing is, whenever you buy a digital copy of the game, it stiches to your steam account for example I own nearly 50 games in my Steam Library, some Need for Speed series, Elder Scrolls, Counter Strike etc. and all of them are part of my Steam account, which means I don't need to keep DVD's or files in my local drives, I just need to remember my Steam login and email to access my games. Also all the save game files are synced with Steam cloud, so you don't have to worry about losing save games on your local disk.
