Why am I losing weight so slow?

In the beginning of January I weighed 205lbs. I decided to start losing weight in June. When I started in June I weighed 196. I am 180lbs now. It s September and I feel like I m losing weight so slow... I eat healthy and exercise 4-5 days a week. I m female and 5 5". My family says they can tell I ve lost a lot of inches. But it just bothers me that the scale doesn t go down as fast as I hope. And a lot of people say it s cause I m replacing fat with muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. But how is that possible. Wouldn t 1 pound of fat equal the same as 1 pound of muscle? They would both be ONE lb. some info please just frustrated! Don t get me wrong I m proud of how far I ve come but it takes forever!

Losing weight with implanon ?

So I had my daughter on January fourteenth of this year and at my six week check up I got the implant. I weighed myself because I have a goal of reaching 130 again at the time I got my implant. I was 159. I almost regularly work out since then. Two weekends ago I weighed myself again I was 161. I was really discouraged but kept on working out. Then I went to the doctor maybe a week later and i was 165. So I'm a little irritated. I eat healthily and work out almost five days a week and yet I see no progress in it. My husband says he can tell but is it really impossible to lose weight while having the implanon? I've also had a really low sex drive which is driving my husband insane bit I don't feel attractive enough to even get ready for the shower. Are the any alternatives? Please help

Hi everyone! I'm a 19 yr old female, 5'3 in height... My weight is 210 lbs last January 2008 (my target weight is110 lbs)-- after 5 months of struggling to lose weight I'm now down to 170 lbs (I'm doing this for myself and not for anyone else) c; Why do fat people experience a lot of discrimination in this world? Why is it that if you're fat, you're fat and thats the only thing people will be reminded of (despite the fact that you're pretty, intelligent, kind, responsible,etc)

Anyways, will it really make you happier?

Losing Weight & Buying A Prom Dress 10 points !?

I am currently in the processes of losing weight and have lost 10 pounds since the end of January. My prom is in the end of May, and I'm buying my prom dress this week because I don't want to go later & get stuck with something I don't really like & just got because it's a last resort. & buying online is not an option. I'm going to get a size that fits me perfectly NOW but if I do keep losing weight when should I get my dress altered to fit me perfectly? Keep in mind my prom is the end of May.
