What is a Maurices job interview like & what to wear?
I'm not really sure if it's the actual interview tomorrow, but they called me in and said they've gotten my job application and that they want me to come iin for a 20-minute survey thing to see how well I'd fit in with Maurices. Would this be the inverview? Or is it a separate thing? Also what should I wear? I'm 16 and it's my first job. Any advice would be helpful! xx

I'm looking for a job and was considering Maurices, but was wondering if you're required to take a urine drug test to work there? I'm not on drugs, but I don't want to pee in a cup if I don't have. Thanks for any info.

Asides from the usual, what are some interview questions they ask at Maurices? For example, a friend of mine interviewed at Rue 21 and they asked her where she bought her outfit and where she likes to shop. What would be the correct answer for that? Can I say I shopped somewhere else? What are some Maurices-specific interview questions?

I'm not sure what kind of business Maurice's is but I would not suggest wearing jeans ever to an interview. No matter what kind of business I always recommend conservative dress which means pants and jacket or skirt and jacket. You can always dress for the job once you have it but you'll never have a second chance to make a first impression. Dressing well for an interview even if it's not what would be worn on the job will show you are serious, and prepared to do what it takes. As for the questions, no one knows what they'll ask you, but of course they'll be looking for information on you and whether you suit the job they have. So my suggestion to you would be to find out as much as you can about the job and then to jot down some points about you that you want to tell them. Also, I always advocate taking a list of questions to an interview. The questions should not be focused on pay, benefits or time off, they should be focused on things like the typical day on the job, what the training would be, how far ahead scheduling is decided etc. All the best, I hope you have a great time at your interview!

What to wear for a job interview at maurices?
I have a job interview at maurices as a sales associate on the 21st. I just found out today. I'm so happy. ha ha. I always get so nervous about these things. I'm 17 years old, so yeah.. Anyway, what should I wear? Black pants, yes? Do I need a blazer or anything? Or is that too fancy? Should I wear heels or just flats? Normally I just wear flat type of shoes. I have a pair of black heels, but I'm not sure if I can really walk in them. So I don't want to be self conscious about that. What kind of top? Nothing too fancy, right? I have bunches of clothes from maurices, but not really anything professional. Should I consider purchasing a piece or two of professional clothes from maurices before the interview? so many questions. sorry. if anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it! thank you.

I have an interview tomorrow at Maurices. I am desperate for a job and need this interview to go well or I'm going to start applying to place I would hate to work at. Any body worked there before as an associate or manager? What are they looking for? Any advice about the interview process would be great. What questions would you ask Leonardo da Vinci if you had the chance?
If I were to travel back in time and meet Leonardo Da Vinci ( Assuming I could speak Italian and or we could speak perfectly )I would like to meet him on the streets of Florence early morning when he’s out observing and sketching birds in flight. I would first be curious and get him to talk about what he is seeing and thinking. I would ask him about what he sees in the future. Then I would prompt him with questions that I know to be fact such as space flight, landing men on the moon. I would lead into the technology involved and then the computer and then modern computers and robotics.I would love to see how he bridges the gaps and how he creatively deals with the unknown.I would love to meet him about the time he starts the Mona Lisa .Who was she to him?Was there a grander message?What was his ideas about creation and motherhood?
