If you formally manage one or more people, don't leave that information out. Even if you supervise and mentor someone informally, that should go on the resume as well. MBA College is refusing to refund the admission fees. What should I do?

The main issue that one must comprehend, is that regardless of the way of training you need to seek after, all instruction suppliers are administration suppliers. The original 1978 judgment by the Supreme Court (BSB Vs A Rajappa and Ors SC 578) set up that training is an industry and understudies are clients. Numerous ensuing judgements have maintained this perspective. So you are a client and you have each privilege to expect tasteful administration.Insufficiency in administration could happen either before the competitor joins the institute or amid his or her residency at the foundation. When you document a grievance against an institution particularly before the classes start, say for a discount of expenses since you would prefer not to join the school some institutions have been known not that they are yet to render you any administration, and subsequently you don't go under the domain of being a client. Shopper discussions have tossed out such contentions. Indeed, even inadequacy in say furnishing you with imprint sheets, testaments and so on, have been considered.

Is it possible to get admission in a good MBA college if you've completed engineering in 5 years?

Yes definitely, you can get into good mba colleges if you score well in CAT, But you may not get into best one's like IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-C, FMS, Etc. But am sure, work hard you can definitely get into institutes like ISB, XIM B etc. and BTW completing engineering in 5 years is not worthless, if you work hard from there on. Am telling story of my cousin who also completed engineering in 5 years. When he appeared for interviews, he was rejected on grounds like second class career, even in engineering (ha ha). But he had confidence in him that he will fit somewhere, there must be a company that will hire him, In that hope he went to bangalore, In inital days at bangalore it was a bit hard for him to adjust to city like environment, but that didn't break him. After appearing interviews after interviews he cracked  in one company called 'Tech Mahindra' as Testing Engineer. Initally he was getting around 20k pm, But it's been 3 years now and he's getting 40k pm. See the point is you have the chance to make your time worthwhile if you start planning and working on things. I am providing one link belowon MBA institutes category. Go to the institutes websites and see thier eligible criteria and plan for yourself. Am sure u will fit in some good college if not best . All the Best :)http://www.careers360.com/career...

Is it possible to get admission into a good MBA college when one has an average academic background?

Yes it is definitely possible. However, you need to have good stories. International schools have a totally different game from what we have in India.  I am assuming that you were talking about international programs.  Do the following:  Figure out your future aspirations, and understand what you want out of the MBA Program( They will ask you 5 times about your future aspirations). Have a strong story.  Think through the first 5 to 7 years of your life post MBA and 7 to 15 years post MBA.  Build a strong experience in community. Do not pass time in social service. Rather, have a couple of strong accomplishments, so as to get a narrative around in an essay.  Showcase your intent when you were teaching those children. Showcase what is transferrable. If both you and I teach for 100+ hours, the schools should be able to understand our reasons and motivations. Applicants fail to understand this.  Network with the school community. Make class visits. I have seen a lot of people making class visits to address Columbia essays. If you have not travelled or lived in the US, it will be tough to address the essays. Making a class visit will also give you an opportunity to learn so much about the schools as to give you a great understanding of what you want. Have strong stories. Do not share or write stories without perspective. Have a strong context. If you are writing about your leadership experience, or your accomplishment, have the context right. Remember, you are speaking with a layman and a stranger. It is important to have the right context.
