How are astrologers able to predict the future?

Can astrological predictions go wrong?
Yes, many times because Astrological Prediction are being given by many astrologers are based on ancient vedic astrology content and it have old definition. Like “Raja Yoga” , “marriage time late or early”. How can one define now “Raja Yoga” there is no king or kingdom these days so how should a astrologer will describe the benefits of “Raja Yoga” in these days. In ancient time the average marriage age was very low as compared to now so if a combination of planets in one’s charts shows early/late marriage, astrologer should be aware of this. In short astrological predication should be base on Time and place. Astrology needs more research and redefinition of old yoga and their predictions so that it can be more complied in modern time with accurate predictions.
If astrologers can predict other's future, then why can't they predict the same for themselves?
Who said we don’t. In fact, honestly most of us start every new thing we learn by examining on our horoscope (we should do it with Lord Rama’s Horoscope ideally) But being humans, we always put ourselves first.We know our charts the best and are often able to find out meaningful correlations. Then come friends and family. And we aren’t exactly bad at it.I would share a personal example. I was struggling with my job in 2015 end, there were chances that I might have to quit. My wife was worried I wasn’t. I had told her “I am not worried about 2016, I am worried about 2017”. She was skeptical “I think you better worry about 2016” she said with a worried tone. My wife did not know much about my astrology back then at least never realized that I could go pro. (I am a husband after all)Thanks to my stars, I was able to land another opportunity a bigger better one with extra money. Money flowed in, travel was less, i was loved by my seniors, life was good in 2016. Then one day I told her, “I am afraid of 2017.” “What can possibly go wrong. All is well.” “Not for very long” I said with a hint of resignationFast forward 3 months, around October 2016 I was in emergency ward of a hospital where I almost had a heart attack (I was taken there from my office due to insane levels of BP thanks to ridiculous work load and tension).2017 brought me separation from job, hospitalization, financial crisis, change of career, collapsed business, poor health : barely escaped a heart attack and almost went into coma. First eight months were hell. ThenBy grace of god, I met my spirit guide, started new businesses which are doing okay given that . Can astrology predict winning the lottery?
Yes, we can predict winning of lottery through a horoscope. 5th house is astrology rules all speculations like lottery, share, stock etc. When 5th house is fortified by Jupiter or Mercury or Venus then native will earn money from speculation.In astrology 2nd house rules wealth, 11th house represents gains and 8th house for sudden raise or fall. As in predicting future? No, that’s nonsense! Things they predicted to you, can happen to anyone of us. They can happen any day. But when I tell you such things, you start to focus on every daily regular event. So it seems real. If anyone could predict future, they wouldn’t see their job as a writer for “Horoscopes” section and just go with it. They should’ve changed their future before telling others what will come. In terms of personalities and compatibility, can be true to some extent. With taking into consideration individuality of each person. At least this aspect of Astrology can be studied through observations.

Does horoscope matching to judge the success of marriages in India really work? How many married people had their horoscopes matched well before marriage and it turned out to be true?
I think I am best person on earth to answer this question!Me and my husband were in love for 5 years and then came the crucial time when my parents started searching for the groom!I told them that i have a boyfriend and i m deeply in love with him. Listening to this my dad lost his senses as according to him Love marriage was a crime(even though we were of same caste and state).He suddenly stopped talking to me and was literally shattered! Slowly after an year, he started talking to me ,as he could sense I was very firm on my decision on marrying my bf.Here comes the magical part of the story!He took our horoscope to a well known astrologer and he threw the horoscope saying its the worst match,and asked him to leave. After listening to this, my dad was also adamant in his decision! Somehow i convinced him to go to other astrologers as well.He checked with around 11 astrologers…Believe me!One and All told the same thing- This marriage won't last more than an year and will end in Divorce!By then, 2 years had already passed and it was 7 years of our beautiful relationship with no ray of hope….Days and months flew crying and sobbing..but no one to hear.Then i came up with an idea and asked my Dad to check for remedies to overcome this problem. Few astrologers said they is no remediation for such case and few gave some remedies.We spent around 50k for puja path and Gau daan as a part of remedial process and finally got married on 9th December'2012 and still in the pitch hitting 4s and 6s and NOT OUT!
