Medical Marijuana And Recreational Marijuana Do You Suppport It What State Do You Live In Is

If you lived in a state that legalized marijuana for recreational use, would you use it?

As a regular pot smoker for 20+hrs I just want to put the word of CAUTION!!!!! To anyone that plans on trying it for the first time or if you have not in 10+yrs. it is not the same hippy pot of the 60.70,and 80’s.Especially if you feel edibles are a safer option, it can actually be more difficult to use and understand properly. So do some homework and ask a lot of questions if you go to a dispensary.

I live in Vermont where marijuana is legal for both recreational and medical use. If you live in federally subsidized housing can you lose section 8 benefits if you have a medical marijuana card?

The only fairly recent news in Vermont about marijuana and section 8 benefits (federal assistance for housing) I have seen is from May of 2018, in this Vermont independent publication: House Rules: Weed Remains Illegal for Federally Subsidized Tenants. The article reports that because federal law still holds marijuana as an illegal substance, landlords who receive HUD funds for section 8 tenants are not supposed to allow any marijuana use, even physician-prescribed medicinal use, on their properties. However, the article also says, “But HUD policy also lets local administrators decide ‘on a case-by-case basis’ whether to evict an existing tenant who consumes cannabis on the property.”So it appears that some section 8 housing providers follow the federal law strictly and some are lenient. Best to check with individual providers beforehand.

The cost of recreational marijuana in Colorado?

I live close to Colorado and do smoke marijuana. I know medical marijuana cost 150 per half ounce but I really want to know when medical marijuana will become available to buy from dispensaries? How long will they take to pop up? Even the first one? And how much will the marijuana cost per ounce? I figure it has to be less because of the ability to mass produce it once it is legal. Also, any thoughts on how it will effect the economy of Colorado? Thanks.

Do you agree with Canada's legalisation of marijuana for recreational use, if not why?

Honestly, I have different opinions on it. It’s both good and bad & fair and unfair & so on. It has a lot of different effects on society and I guess I tend to fall more onto the disagreeing side, but I know some people think differently and that’s completely okay! Marijuana has its benefits and I understand. However, it depends on the people who are consuming it and how responsible they are to act while under the influence—just because it’s legal for recreational use, doesn’t mean you can drive while under the influence, or sell some to teenagers who would be willing to pay more than needed for the experience, so at the end of the day, it all depends on you. I’m more on the disagreeing side, as I mentioned before, because to me, it feels unfair to those who, in the past, have gotten in trouble because of marijuana and are in jail for it today, and needless to mention I also believe it’s a bad influence on our society’s younger children because it could potentially lead to promoting the use of drugs. Thankfully enough, though, nothing too bad can happen with marijuana, such as an overdose unless of course you’re abusing the use of it, which makes it so overall it’s not that bad.But then again, we could have been well enough without the legalization of it.I hope this helped for your survey! x
