Got a job offer but messed up on employment date, please help!?
Hi guys, I just got a job offer from my dream company. However, the offer is contingent on the background check. I am happy that I got the job offer but now I am nervous about one mistake I made on my resume. For a job I had about 8 years ago, I mistakenly wrote down my start date was January 2000 - Sept 2004 but instead I actually found out that it is June 2001 - Sept 2004. How important are the exact dates??? I didn't mean to lie but it was so long ago I simply forgotten. How does background checks verify employment dates?? Do they simply enter in my social security and all my work history along with employment dates appear? I am asking because this place I worked at 8 years ago is no longer in business...can they really check? I have no references for it either... Any help is much appreciated!! Thanks in advance!! Why do guys like to mess with me?
At my school a lot of guys mess with me a lot cuz they think its funny but the people who do it the most are lije these guys. There is this one guy in my grade who likes to beat me up and push me and kick ne and hit me a lot and sometimes he calls me names and says that im a whore and that I need to put some clothes on when I already know that I'm dressed appropriately because at my school dress code is super strict and they don't let you get away with anything scandalous so Idk why he always makes comments about me and says that I'm trying to be too sexy? But I'm actually not and i dont get him. Also these twin senior guys (im a freshman) always mess with me and they told me that they like f-ing around with me so they like yell at me and stuff and tease me a lot playfully and pick on me and then there's also these 8th grade guys who like bothering me a lot and talking to me a lot but idk why it is ALWAYS ME! Like even with guys out of school or people in public will do things and be like 'ah just kidding' of 'just messing with ya' to frighten me. Once when I was standing around with a group of my friends a boy came from behind and smacked my butt REALLY HARD like not a normal slap on the *ss because like I'm used to that but like it made a noticable noise and whenever I get bothered I make really embarrassing noises that sound like orgasm noises and it was just SO EMBARRASSING I'm just wondering like why me?
What should be a guy's focus in his early 20's? Is it Career, Money, Relationships Or what?
Firstly, Nice question.I'm 20, had fallen in love, and a 50% engineer(2 years completed of B.Tech in electrical). Well to be honest here career is much more important.I'd fallen in love in 11th grade till the end of 1st year of graduation, relation happened to be very sweet and cherishable, but reaching the end it had grown kind of complicated, I had few most memorable experiences of my life, but now i could feel the pace of life, the days evaporates in flashes. Sometimes I remember my days and feels fortunate and blessed too for the memories i'd earned, but it sublimes in minutes or so, in the practical and pragmatic world i have my parents to support, entire world to travels, to buy fancy cars for which i need money, loads of money. And yes, travelling places is more orgasmic than a relationship, just for sake of relationship, don't give up your thousand dreams for which you are born. Ask this same question to jobless/unemployed guy, you'll get answer in 100th fraction of second - "IT'S CAREER"!once you're 30 you'll miss the energy of 20's. Still get some time out to experience a relationship, make love, feel life but, make money!Thank you!

ok i am 21...used to the assholes and games and college frat beer chugging guys. All of my guy friends are like that and I have never known otherwise. I am now dating this older guy who has a career a house everything...and just achieved all of this so this is why he is just now seeking a relationship. he is amazing and sweet and does all of these things for me. some of the things i find kind of cheesey b/c i don't know of guys my age doing that for girls my age. he treats me to everthing takes me to fancy dinners brings me coffee or food while i am studying....and tells me exactly how he feels about me. is he so genuine and sweet however sometimes i my 21 yr old self comes out and is like why is this guy doing all of this for me?! i can't help but think this is all kind of corny and hokey. am i feeling this way bc i am so young. is this what people in their late 20's do for girls they like?i have always wanted a guy like this but i am freaked out bc i know this will be serious

Once they grow up they will do better.This changes when they grow up. They ponder about three things. What if they could still be kids and enjoy. How kids do not have to worry at all.What if "that" would not have happened earlier. I would have been in a better position now. I wish I could go back to the time and change that. Oh! that stupid decision of mine. God knows what I was thinking then! I should have done that..........If I do this will I achieve that? God knows. Too risky. What if it happens again? I am an all time loser. I am born to lose. It happened last time. It will happen again. I am screwed. There is nothing called real happiness in this world for me. See him. I am black 17 years old. I am a guitarist(a metal shredder) and I am working to make that my career. I plan on goin to MI for my talent. At the time being, I work at Mcdonalds just to raise a lil money for college. My grades are not that good in HS but I'm workin very hard on that.I have a girlfriend who is 16 an a straight A student and we are in love so deeply. Her parents, however, hate me. They see me as a failure and a nobody. They try to fill her head with lies and evil! Lol,she tells me she wants to stay a virgin until she is married and I respect that and I don't force it on her ever. Most guys don't care. Her parents think that all I want to do is her. I am not allowed to see her, take her out, nothing.
