Migraines After School

How to give yourself a migraine!?

I can't imagine anyone wanting to get a migraine just to skip school. Some migraines are so painful that you're in constant, excruciating pain no matter what you do. I'd much prefer school!

My guess is either a) you've never had a severe, debilitating migraine before or b) you're having serious problems at school.

**If your situation is "a", just be grateful you don't have to deal with that kind of pain! School is almost out so you should figure out a way to get through the last month of school. You can get through school, no worries :)

**If your situation is "b", realize that running from your problems isn't going to solve them. And in fact, it might make your problems worse. There are many things you can do if school is that bad for you. Obviously I don't know your situation so I don't know what will or won't help. Talk with a trusted adult (counselor, teacher, parent, etc). They will be able to help you more.

Why do I have a headache/migraine everyday after school & burning up?

Everyday this week I have come home with either a headache or mini migraine & my face gets really hot like I'm running a fever..but my temp is 98.5 which is normal but IDK what to do. I'm suffering alot. Help! ALSO I've already tried Pills, Bananas, Water, everything. So don't put that shiz in your answer plz.

What illness can you fake that can get you out of school in no time?

I don’t recall ever technically faking, but I had some issues later in high school with staying up too late reading on my phone/laptop and not taking care of myself, not knowing at the time I had depression. As such I had a lot of days where I got out of going to school but was fine after a few hours.Migraine is by far the simplest. It is not only a massive headache (rolling your head and putting pressure on your eyes), it makes you light sensitive (so squint), sound sensitive (constantly ask people to be quieter), nauseous (keep a trash can near), and exhausted (minimal movement and slow actions. The down side is this also looks a heck of a lot like a hangover so be careful. Also, too many migraines will probably make your parents freak out and assume you have a brain tumor, so everything in moderation.Period pain is the next best, obviously for females only. Those cramps can lay you the heck out, and most people are understanding. At school, it’s best to change seating positions constantly and when standing, all of a sudden freeze with a pained look on your face. At home just stay in the fetal position or sit in the shower steam.Vomiting is the next best, good for all genders! You technically aren’t supposed to go to school within 24 hours of vomiting/diarrhea, so a parent won’t typically argue with these. Vomiting just seems more refined somehow. You can make yourself throw up but that really isn’t healthy, you can fake your way up to 90% without really follow through half the time. Try a really loud retch and some flushing, and just be a neat freak and wipe down the toilet with some cleaner. They’ll smell the cleaner and just be thankful they can’t smell the vomit.Again, I never really used these to skip at all, but they did actually happen, so if your acting is good enough, I don’t see why they shouldn’t work!

Headaches everyday after school..?

Alright so everyday about the same during school I get a headache and it lasts until after school gets out, sometimes for hours if I don't have medicine with me. I was wondering would could be the cause of this? Sometimes on the weekends I wake up with a headache too. I had such a bad migraine the other day that I threw up. Do I need to get my eyes checked? Or maybe get bloodwork done? If anyone has had this experience or knows about it please let me know!

Why do I keep getting headaches at school?

I keep getting headaches every day at school but I don't know why. They usually start during my 3rd lesson. I don't get them at weekends and they disappear as soon as I get home. I'm pretty stressed out at school so could they be just from stress? My sister gets migraines from strip lights a lot ... could it be that? They can be quite painful and make it hard for me to concentrate on my work. I get nauseated sometimes too when I have them.

I'm always sick after school?

Fatigue , headaches and tired eyes often occur together.

To help your sick tummy you probably need more digestive enzymes from more fruit and vegetables to improve your digestion.

Fatigue is often due to an unhealthy lifestyle.

Fatigue often triggers off further problems such as headaches, migraines, dizziness, lightheadedness, shakiness and nausea.

To combat fatigue perhaps the energy vitamin B12 can help or a vitamin B complex. Coenzyme Q10 can also help to boost your energy level as in a web search for "coenzyme q10 for energy". The super food Spirulina is another good energy booster.

One of the most common fatigue causes is anxiety which is a state of fear of real or imagined danger, which is manifested as increased heart rate, trembling, panic, weakness, extreme fatigue and stomach or intestinal discomfort.

Besides anxiety there are many other common fatigue causes such as insufficient sleep, too much sleep, under eating, thyroid problems or other illnesses (such as anemia, mononucleosis, CFS, glandular fever and many others), side effects from medication, dehydration, overexertion, an unhealthy diet and other causes as discussed in a web search for "common fatigue causes".

What are your tips to fake a headache at school?

Of all the things to fake, why would one want to fake a headache? To get out of class? I am sure I’ve had a few fake headache excuses over the years, but I just send them all to the office to get some Advil / Tylenol administered. If it is a fake headache, I assume they kids just wander for a little while then return to class.Just remember the story about the boy who cried wolf, though. Too many fake headaches and you run the risk of no one believing you when you have a real one.

Bad Headache after school everyday?

Also I have a very hard time sleeping, I'm up late at night usually and tired all day, but as soon as it's time too go to sleep I just feel awake and can't stop thinking at night, like I will just keep thinking of things that happened during the day or even things I want too do on the weekend and I end up staying up late. I went and got some of these sleeping pills about a week ago, they don't seem very powerful though, I take one 15 mins before bed like it says but it doesn't seem to do much for me... Also about a week ago I had a headache like feeling for 2-3 days straight, it was so bad I stayed home from school, I do a lot of work on the computer which requires a lot of reading, so I read up on it and I think it was eye strain, I hurt very bad to look up down or left and right.

Thanks for the help everyone.

PLEASE HELP! Headaches everyday after school?

I've been having headaches after school for about a week and a half now(I'm a girl). It's happened to me before but it always goes away with in 5 days. But they're so bad that the only relief is to sleep. But last night I fell asleep with a headache and woke up this morning with the headache. It's not as bad as it is after school but its still a nagging pain.
My eyesight is bad but I wear contacts or glasses, I'm not dehydrated, I don't go to sleep that late maybe 11 or so. I'm not stressed, my friends are loud and everyone is really loquacious in class but nothing major. I do talk a lot also and sometimes yell across the room. But I don't think that's the problem PLEASE HELP!!
