My son plays Minecraft on the computer. The other day he was playing online and someone asked him "d or t." What does this mean?

Are gaming computers good for Minecraft?

Most of these answers here just say yes, the generally do not specify any reason that is  the main reason. Gaming pc's have good CPUs GPU's and RAM. Minecraft does not use you GPU and is Largely CPU intensive and also uses RAM a bit. So the reason that gaming pc's are good for minecraft is the upgrade in CPU and the size and speed of the RAM. However you DO NOT need a gaming pc to play minecraft well. I wrote that Minecraft is pretty much a CPU run game, because it is made with java, which doesd not depend on your GPU. So You can easily take a regular old pc and buy a new CPU and if you choose RAM and it would be much cheaper than your $1600 gaming pc. That is if you only want to run Minecraft. Have fun friends.

It's trial and error, so try to download it and see if it works.
