Minecraft Xbox One won't launch?
try uninstalling the game and install it again. Just go to my games and apps and press the start button on Minecraft and then press manage game. From there you can uninstall the game, then shut your Xbox off by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Turn it back on and reinstall the game again. It won't cost you any extra money because you already bought the game on your account

Why are you making a mod pack the hard way? The best way to compile a mod pack is to use a ModPack Launcher such as the ATLauncher or FTB Launcher. They allow you to install vanilla Minecraft with Forge so you can then easily install and manage your mods. Then simply download the mods you want and use the launcher to add it to your mod pack, plus you get a nice console to look out for any errors that may occur.
Why is Minecraft not launching on my new computer?
You need to have Java installed (the new launcher does keep its own version of Java though) as well as the proper GPU drivers installed (if Windows didn’t come preinstalled you need to find the drivers yourself as well as configure Java to use a dedicated NVidia, if you have the NVidia Optimus configuration [you could use Intel but performance is lower])Anything else? Why isn't mineshafter launching minecraft?
it loads to 100%, then it just doesn't start the game. the launcher doesn't go away, either, and it's responding, because i can move it around and all that, but minecraft won't start. can someone please tell me how?

If your brother has a world running and you can't join, try the following things.-Make sure you and your brother are on the same wireless network.(I'm not sure if this is the problem if you are playing on Mac, but it worked when I was playing my Kindle Fire)-Make sure he has “Open to LAN" turned on.-Make sure you and your brother are running the same version.(I'm not sure if this is actually required, but it might help)-Maybe try shutting down Minecraft then opening it again.If you have tried all of these methods and are still having problems, try contacting Minecraft's support
