I called my friend to go for shopping with me. she said, I know you are going to buy gift for your Mom. yeah! but how do you know? I asked. Because I was planning the same. she said. Then, I bought a ‘Mangalsutra' ( sacred jewellery worn by married women) and a night gown for Mom.*reached home*Mom: kya kya kharid layi aaj ? ( What have you bought today?)Me: (hugged her) Happy mother's day Mummy.Mom: Oh its mothers day today? Han aaj dekha to tha newspaper me. What are some good poems about helplessness?

Traveling through the DarkBY WILLIAM E. STAFFORDTraveling through the dark I found a deerdead on the edge of the Wilson River road.It is usually best to roll them into the canyon:that road is narrow; to swerve might make more dead.By glow of the tail-light I stumbled back of the carand stood by the heap, a doe, a recent killing;she had stiffened already, almost cold.I dragged her off; she was large in the belly. My fingers touching her side brought me the reason—her side was warm; her fawn lay there waiting, alive, still, never to be born.Beside that mountain road I hesitated. The car aimed ahead its lowered parking lights;under the hood purred the steady engine.I stood in the glare of the warm exhaust turning red;around our group I could hear the wilderness listen.I thought hard for us all—my only swerving—,then pushed her over the edge into the river.

My mom keeps playing her music as loud as it will go when I'm in her car. She won't turn it down when I ask her to. I feel like it's going to damage my hearing. What do I do?

Oh I am grinning at this one. I would crank NPR up as loud as it would go when they were playing an opera I know and I’d sing and sing and sing. But I can’t sing. Honestly. My b flat is so flat the b took off running to hide.Your mother is a sixteen year old girl who just got the family car and is booking it over to her friends to party.Sorry, Kiddo. You’re hosed. You’re the parent. Just get some ear plugs and practice zipping the lip, I know, I know, it just doesn’t feel right, you know?Sigh. It’s a phase. I hope. Be strong. Eventually YOUR kids will come on future quora and ask the same. Gonna be a sweeeeeeet thing for you, so I’m not going to ruin it totally.snickering as I slide outta here.

Christmas Poems for my Mom?

That is very sweet of you!
Now try to tell her in the poem how much Santa appreciates her, because she is such a hardworking sweet person.
(I suppose this is true?)
"Here's a message from Santa
So you know it's true
This year he hasn't
forgotten about you.
Santa thinks you're
the best mom on earth
More then diamonds
you are worth
He wants to tell you
How much he appreciates
all that you do
To show you
this valuation
He wants to give you
this present.....

I'm not very good in the end......but I'm sure you can make up something by yourself.
Good luck!

Examples of a 3 lined blues poem or song?

I woke up this Morning, and I woke up yesterday
Yeah i woke up this morning and i woke up yesterday
and if i wake up tomorrow, that'll be three days in a row....

How did families entertain themselves in the late 1920's?

LOL, I wanted to say the same thing -- every night was a family night in the 1920s. Radio was probably more in the 30s. People may have gathered in the parlor to play the piano and sing songs. Or maybe the best reader in the family was reading a novel aloud to the family, chapter by chapter. Cards would have been a thing -- but maybe not for the babies. I believe they would have been in bed by 7 p.m. or nightfall, whichever came first. The older kids probably were in bed by 8 p.m.

They may have enjoyed a treat like home-popped popcorn, and they may have worked together around a table. Something like sewing, or shelling beans, or maybe some craftwork like whittling.

Oh, if they were moderately wealthy, they may have had a gramophone, and listened to music, maybe even danced.
