Moving Into A Haunted House

I live a haunted house what do you think ?

1 Started with hearing a woman shout and my dog started barking like mad in the room that this happened.

2 Partner seen the previous owner of the house standing in the kitchen he is dead and we found a self portrait of him in the attic.

3 Creepy feeling like you are been watched when sleeping it is that bad i sleep on the sofa in the living room because you cannot get to sleep in the other room until it reaches daylight.

4 Banging noises like the place is getting shaken and wrecked but when you go look there is nothing out of place. me and my son witnessed this twice we thought someone had broken in.

5 Knocking on the front door at 3am we even called the police to check the area but they found no one this happened 3 times.

6 A man called out my name in the kitchen and my dog came running in again barking also dog was sniffing under the door and growling one night just before the banging happened that was saying about.

7 My son heard a woman at our living room window and called his name at 3 o clock in the morning and we live far away from other houses and people.

8 My partner now is getting cold air been blown around him when the room is warm with no windows open for it to be a draft.

9 Picture in living room fell of the wall i was just sitting there and also the nail was still in the wall so how could have that made it fall there was no vibrations to make this picture do that.

Finally when i am sleeping on the sofa which i have been for 6 months now i am starting to get a really cold shiver go from my head to toe that wakens me what do you think that is about anyone know of that happening to them in their sleep ?

Also if you think my place is haunted what type of ghost is that and what do you think it wants ?

It has got to the point were i cannot live here anymore as it is really creeping me out and the house is so dark also and i feel like we are not welcome at all here.

Dream of moving into a haunted house?

So i dreamed that in the haunted house ( or more of apartment) , my brother had told me that a little girldied in there. He showed me a picture of her but it was all blurry. I Remember her name was Le or Leila. In the dream I had went to sleep and then in the dream I dreamed about a mother who had came to tell me of how she died?? Sudden new character I know. It was a really weird dream. I don't know none of these people. Anyway she then took me to experience it or see it idk but she told me it was because of a man who didn't deliver her letter or some thing and I forgot the rest. In my head I was really scared cos I hate dreams like this but when I tried to wakeup I realized I had sleep paralysis!!! Omg it was scary I was force back into the dream but can't remember anything else. But I also remember that at the new house the neighbors were stalking or watching us too. What's all this????

Moving into a place that's haunted?

I have a great opportunity to finally move out of my parents house and into a family friends house. It was built in 1870 and the (owner who is our friend) told us it's haunted. She told me stories that have happened and I'm extremely scared. I've been desperate for my own place and now that I have the chance, I don't think I can do it. I can't beat the rent she's letting me pay so I feel like if I snooze I lose. I'm torn. Do I suck it up and hope they go away? Or don't even make it an option to move there?

Haunted house horror movie idea?

i think you shouldn't post this online unless you want your idea stolen...

Haunted House..Do I Need Help?

We are what i tihnk the second owners of this house, and its my dads and brother house, and mine part time due to split family. And there is tons of storys as the old man that used to live here died on holiday. And it started ever since my mum and dad moved in..
My dad never believed in ghosts untill he woke up to what i believe is called sleep paralization? Where he was being pushed down by something and couldnt breathe/move. Woke my mum up afterwards and she saw nothing. There have beeen various reports (including myself) that when you are aloe in the house you can hear what sounds like a piano being dragged in the attic then dropped very suddenly, if you iignore this it begins to get louder and louder untill 'it' knows you have reacted to it. Things have gone missing unexpectdly and turned up in the most oddest places you can imagin. The other night me and my mate where sitting downstairs and the knocker went on the front door, but a proper knock, as you can see the door from the point we were there was nobody there and that night i experienced the bed i sleeping was shaking horrible. When i said 'im not afraid of you' it shook quicker untill i had to leave. There is many many other stories of knocking, and things turning on and furniture moving. But what makes my spine tingle for me is that when im in the house (and at this very moment) i feel like im being watched constantly and get the odd tap. When i leave my dads house i can feel something staring at me through the window which now has creeped me so bad my mate comes and picks me up. Also my brother did the oujia board recently and he got a spirit that wanted to harm him, and me and mate are planning to the oujia board tomorrow but will it be a good idea as im only 15? But sorry for the long post, just do you think this is a bad spirit(s) and need to be seen too, or just a joker? Im not really afraid i just wont be in this house alone.. do i need to seek help?

Name of old movie with man living in basement of haunted house?

Help! I'm trying to find an old movie (70s-80s?) that featured a family moving into a seemingly haunted house. The furniture would move when they were away, and other creepy things. They eventually find an older man in the basement has been responsible for the strange activity. POSSIBLY an all black cast. The basement guy is definitely black with grey hair and beard.

Can sleep walking be caused by a haunted house?

OK so i am 19 years old and i have never slept walk in my entire life not even when i was a kid. But about a month ago i moved into this house that was built in 1900. I live here with my sister and friend and we have experienced some paranormal activity , orbs, mist, electronic failure, even as much as the feeling of being touched or watched. Just the other night my friend saw me sleep walk and i was throwing things away in a violent manner and was dropping stuff. She told me the next morning and i was astonished because i had no memory of it, and have never slept walk in my life. And i was wondering if my house was haunted could it cause me to sleep walk? also we have all had disturbing and bizarre dreams. Can my sleep walking and our dreams be caused by our house if it is indeed haunted? and if any of u guys know of any sites that would help me pls let me know

What do people like about haunted houses?

I have lived in haunted houses, I can't really say it's a likeable thing. I prefer to say it is more or less something that is tolerated. As a kid, my family had moved into a large home that turned out to be haunted, I was young (5 years old), don't remember much, but I knew my parents were bothered by this fact and we moved after my mother found out she was expecting my twin sisters.  Fast forward to my teen years, two of my friends lived in a house that was haunted. On several occasions while visiting them different things happened, objects moving, footsteps upstairs, noises in other rooms, even saw shadows....But nothing that was in the bad stuff category. No 'bad feelings' or anything that seemed dangerous. Now later on, I am married (Almost 30 years now) and in these last few years we have lived in several different places....Two of which are haunted. One that was in the very haunted category was the apartments opposite the Moulin Rouge, in Las Vegas, in the mid 90's. (Long before it burned down) My wife can and will tell many stories of the odd things that went on around there.....I worked while she was the manager of those apartments, so yes she saw and heard lots and lots. Our last house, lived there 12 years, had a couple spirits that seamed to show up from time to time, nothing bad....Again objects moving, shadows peeking out down the hall. (My wife says it is a little girl who is 'playing') An old doll who seemed to look at you, even smile, we sat her up on top of the china case, so it could look around and watch TV. Sounds crazy, doesn't it? I think so too. But these hauntings did not happen all the time, it would get real active for about a week or so then nothing, sometimes months would go by and it would be almost forgotten, then it would get active again, so I have to say it not liked, just tolerated.

I think my house is haunted, what's the first thing to do?

Let's take it step-by-step:Why do you feel your house is haunted? In my entire life, I've never seen a haunted house that didn't have a logical explanation...in many cases, I've resolved a haunting by doing something like properly mounting a pipe to a ceiling joistInvite somebody to come stay with you for a bit. DO NOT TELL THE PERSON THAT YOU FEEL YOUR HOUSE IS HAUNTED. DON'T PROMPT THIS PERSON IN ANY WAY. You want this person to be a completely neutral observer. Make an excuse like, "I'm thinking of selling my house and I want an outside perspective on how comfortable my house is." This gives you a way of having the person sleep in a different bedroom each night. If the person mysteriously sleeps through the night with no issues, guess what?Eliminate all possibilities. Do you have pets? Get them out of the house for a few days. Kids? Have them stay with relatives for a few days after you get the pets back. You're looking to remove any other possible sources, and kids are well known perpetrators of many "hauntings". Still think the house is haunted? Okay, next up: eliminate those items that are known scientifically. Do the hauntings only happen when you're asleep? You're most like experiencing some mix of night terrors and waking dreams, both of which are well known and established.  Is it isolated to a single room of the house, or a specific time of day? This may allow you to narrow things down and find the real cause.Still think the house is haunted? Figure out where you think hauntings are taking place in the house and set up a camera to record things. If you hear sounds, a camera will pick it up. If you see things, a camera will pick it up. Still think the house is haunted? Call in an investigator. No no, not a "ghost hunter", they'll charge you thousands of dollars to pretend to do something, hoping for a placebo effect. No, you want to get yourself somebody like me, a skeptic, who works for free because we're desperately looking for an actual haunting so we can finally say "well look at that!" I can guarantee you if you have done all these things and you have, on camera, proof of a haunting, a skeptic will come running to investigate. Just look up your local skeptics' society (www.meetup.com) and ask for help! After all that, if you STILL feel your house is haunted, feel free to try the other suggestions by other people...but please, don't just jump to the "ghost" conclusion when it's most likely something simple and benign.
